Super sexy story. Full of hot scenes, it can be tiresome but I was so hooked I just couldn't give up. The first book already begins with utter closeness. The stray cat Shingo refuses to be held, to be possessed, because he will be left behind eventually. Until leopard Keiichi catches him and swears to never abandon him. Those moments were heart-breaking, and incredibly emotional. Sweet but explicit. Smexy but with a storyline that maintains your interest. I'm very glad I read this.

Nach dem ich den Manga Zeigs mir gelesen hatte, habe ich gleich mit Spiel mit mir weiter gemacht. Zu Beginn war ich gleich etwas verwirrt, weil eine Szene gezeigt wird, die in der Zukunft spielt bzw. geht es danach in die Vergangenheit, das hab ich aber erst im verlauf des Mangas geblickt und so hat der Manga für mich gleich mit ein paar Fragezeichen angefangen, weil ich es dann einfach nicht so verstanden habe.
Aber davon mal abgesehen hat mir die Geschichte gefallen. Die grobe Stoyline mochte ich und wie die beiden sich dann immer näher kommen, nicht nur auf der körperlichen Ebene sondern auch emotional. Da freue ich mich schon auf den nächsten Band.
Auch die Zeichnungen haben mir gefallen. Ich mag nur Panels nicht so, wo sich Gedanken über zwei Seiten ziehen und man dann entweder erst diese am Stück liest oder Gedanken, dann Gesprochenes und dann wieder den Gedanken weiter, finde ich etwas anstrengend, aber ist ja nicht nur in diesem Manga so.

The Art is nice but... rape is a deal breaker for me. And there is such a thing as too much sex (at least for me) a bit more actual story would´ve done this manga some good.

This would’ve been so much better without the SA right off the bat 🙃 it had so much potential, there was a ton of emotional elements, especially the abandonment issues. But ofc seme drugs and r*pes uke, who has never bottomed before, and then says he doesn’t regret it. His obsession starts from there & uke is reasonably repulsed at first. But ofc yaoi logic ensues, r*pe to love trope initiated.
Makes me so grumpy because the premise minus that and the art was good, the style is classic manga done really well. There’s even a number of sequels, but I won’t be reading them. I’m being generous with the 3 stars too, normally I would rate R2L lower but this is partially the tagging system’s fault; there was no r*pe or drugging tag 😒 otherwise I wouldn’t have read it. Not the creators fault tho.

So I finished this entire series, in oh I don't know 4 hrs and have very little to say about it...or a lot to say about some things. First let me tell you what I liked. I loved the idea that in a world of mostly humans there are cat shape-shifters. We for sure know that there are the "domestic" cats and the "leopard" cats. I also loved the art style it was gorgeous, stunning, and I think I paid more attention to that then the actual story line. Why? Because I felt like there was no story line besides the straight up porn we were given.
I think one of the biggest things that turned me off from the whole thing, and what is making me dislike Yaoi the more I read it...is the sexual assault and no one can deny that there was straight up rape in this manga. I don't understand why Yaoi mangaka's think "rape" culture is okay and that it leads to this very romanticized love story. It's called abuse people, NOT love. The main character Shingo is ruffied by the guy that he later can't get enough of. I mean seriously, this is not okay. I mean hopefully young girls aren't reading this, but if someone young is reading this it completely gives off the expression of rape being okay. In a world where we are already told that "if you get raped it's your fault".
And then of course more than 3/4ths of the novel was just sex.
There were very few times that did capture my heart and that was Shingo's backstory and his struggles with trust and love. Shingo was a very believable character. Then there is Keiichi (the movie star/leapord) who definitely had his own thing going on but you could still tell that he was, in his own way, abusive. Wanting Shingo all to himself.
I just don't know about Yaoi anymore. I understand it's supposed to be focused on a female audience and that it's primary goal is to, in a way, "turn women on". However, for me as a women that is not okay with any sexual assault in the slightest, I just can't get behind it anymore. There are very few Yaoi manga's that focus on a building romance (like Our Dining Table], and instead focus on rape as the start of "healthy" relationship (like this one or 狼パパは羊ヅラしてやってくる Ookami Papa wa Hitsuji Tsura shite Yatte kuru .
Yes, I did read the entire series. In the future, however, I most likely will be more selective with my BL manga and read more into the synopsis. I understand that this is the culture of Yaoi manga, but I truly struggle with the idolization of rape. It's not okay.

Αυτό, είναι το 1ο vol. της σειράς, το οποίο αποτελείται από 7 κεφάλαια συνολικά. Είναι η εισαγωγή στην ιστορία των Shingo και Kakami. Ο πρώτος, εργάζεται ως κατασκευαστής σκηνικών σε κινηματογραφικά πλατό και δεν έχει καμία σταθερότητα, τόσο στη ζωή του, όσο και στις σχέσεις του, προτιμώντας το sex χωρίς δεσμεύσεις της μιας νύχτας. Ο δεύτερος, είναι από τους πιο δημοφιλείς και γοητευτικούς ηθοποιούς της Ιαπωνίας. Έπειτα από μια νύχτα κραιπάλης, ο Shingo, θα βρεθεί στο σπίτι, αλλά και στο κρεβάτι, του Kakami, μην μπορώντας και ο ίδιος να πιστέψει πως συνέβη κάτι τέτοιο, ή πόσο πολύ το ευχαριστήθηκε. Αν και αρχικά, θα προσπαθήσει να διατηρήσει τις αποστάσεις του, ο Shingo, δεν θα μπορέσει να αντισταθεί στην έλξη, αλλά και την κυριαρχία που ασκεί πάνω του ο Kakami και για πρώτη φορά στη ζωή του, θα σκεφτεί πως ίσως να μπορεί να δεθεί συναισθηματικά με κάποιον. Ό,τι και να πω για τον σχεδιασμό της Aya Sakyo, θα είναι πολύ λίγο. Δεν είναι απλά, άκρως λεπτομερής και παραστατικός, αλλά πέρα για πέρα εντυπωσιακός. Ενώ, συνήθως, οι δημιουργοί καταφέρνουν να αποδώσουν εξαιρετικά καλά, είτε τις εκφράσεις του προσώπου, είτε το σεξουαλικό περιεχόμενο των σκηνών που αναπαραστούν, η συγγραφέας και σχεδιάστρια του συγκεκριμένου, τα καταφέρνει περίφημα και στα δύο αυτά επίπεδα. Οι ήρωές της διαθέτουν εκφραστικότητα, αλλά καταφέρνουν να αξιοποιήσουν το σεξαπίλ του σε πολλαπλά επίπεδα. Όσο για τις ερωτικές σκηνές... δεν έχω λόγια. Τολμηρές, αλλά χωρίς να γίνονται πρόστυχες, παθιασμένες και χωρίς ίχνος πουριτανισμού, είναι απόλαυση για τον αναγνώστη του είδους. Επιπλέον, και παρά την απλότητα της ιστορίας της, μου άρεσε πάρα πολύ, σε καθαρά προσωπικό επίπεδο, το backround της ζωής του Shingo, το οποίο όχι μόνο δικαιολογεί την συμπεριφορά του, αλλά επιτρέπει να ψυχαναλύσουμε τις ανασφάλειές του και τον φόβο της δέσμευσης που τον διακατέχει, αφού πάσχει σαφέστατα από σύνδρομο εγκατάλειψης, κάτι που δεν είναι αδικαιολόγητο. Αυτό που επίσης πρέπει να αναφερθεί, είναι το supernatural στοιχείο της ιστορίας, αφού οι πρωταγωνιστές είναι γατόπαρδοι, δηλαδή, έχουν τη δυνατότητα να μεταμορφώνονται σε γατίσια πλάσματα, σε γάτα ο Shingo, σε λεοπάρδαλη ο Kakami, κάτι ακόμα που ενισχύει την έλξη και τον δεσμό που έχουν και το οποίο, αποτυπώνεται με πολύ ωραίο τρόπο, χωρίς να φαντάζει παράξενο ή γελοίο.

Amo totalmente esta serie. Estoy perdidamente enamorada de ella. Se ha convertido en una de mis series favoritisimas. Antes de empezarla ni siquiera creía que me podía gustar, y acabé aplaudiendo por haber dejado atrás mis prejuicios. Esta serie es maravillosa y habría sido una pena perdérmela.

Mis queridos Shingo y Keiichi son una de las parejas más bonitas y completas que he conocido. Entre ambos no todo son arcoiris y fuegos artificiales, como es lógico. Ellos van creciendo según va pasando el tiempo, van madurando al vivir un montón de diferentes cosas juntos. Tienen sus momentos preciosos, y sus momentos de miedos, pero sobre todo, tienen una conexión que siempre les lleva de vuelta al otro.

This manga contains highly erotic content, just saying! But other than that the book was exceptionally good. The characters had an interesting backstory which was understandable and we could follow it regardless there sexual relationship. Kagami had the more dominant role in their relationship even though he was the emotionally submissive figure. I liked Shingo better, personality-wise, he was slightly indecisive but i think that was due to his lack of contentment in this new more trustworthy and cuddly relation with Kagami.
Great manga which i would recommend for adults who are into boys love!

¡WOW! Este manga es para mayores de 18 años, pero... ¿saben algo? Las reglas se hicieron para romperse. Desde que lo empece a ver esta como que "¡OH POR DIOS! ¡WOW! ¿QUEEE? ¿WTF?" Tuve muchas hemorragias nasales y muchos gritos. Me gusto mucho el final ya que terminaron enamorándose ¡QUE NO MUERA EL AMOR! Una linda historia, me recordó tanto a Christian Grey (50 sombras de Grey)¡ME ENCANTO ESTE MANGA!

Der Manga ist schon sehr speziell. Die erotischen Szenen sind sehr, sehr explizit und im Gegensatz zu vielen anderen Mangas nicht zensiert. Und Holla die Waldfee ist das gut gezeichnet. Die Posen, die Gesichter, die Nahaufnahmen, einfach alles. Auch außerhalb der erotischen Szenen ist der Zeichenstil für mich etwas ganz besonderes. Hier geht es um Gestaltwandler, was natürlich auch inhaltlich, aber vor allem von den Zeichnungen her etwas besonderes ist. Man findet nur sehr, sehr wenige Mangas, die sich mit dem Thema auseinander setzten. Natürlich ist das gerade im Zusammenhang mit Erotik nicht jedermanns Sache, aber ich finde es sehr unterhaltsam. Die Story an sich geht schon hauptsächlich nur um das Eine. Die Protas sind unglaublich triebgesteuert, was meist auf ihre tierische Seite geschoben wird. Beide sind Katzenwesen, wobei der Sub eine Hauskatze ist und der dominante Part ein Leopard. Das der Sub ursprünglich kein Sub war, aber der größeren, kräftigeren Raubkatze unterlegen ist, macht das ganze ebenfalls interessant. Allgemein ist der Manga oder besser gesagt die ganze Reihe schon etwas ganz besonderes. Teilweise ist es auch ein bisschen traurig bzw. emotional, wenn man von Shingos Vergangenheit und seine Ängsten und Sorgen erfährt. Auch das macht den Manga für mich zu etwas besonderem.

Primo volume e primo incontro fra Shingo e Kagami, fra un gatto e un leopardo.
Una relazione iniziata solo per soddisfare i propri bisogni ma che col passare dei giorni diventa sempre qualcosa di più.
Questo volume ad una lettura veloce potrebbe sembrare solo un'insieme di tavole disegnate per soddisfare occhi bisognosi di scene di sesso, ma non è così. L'atto in sè è il modo che i nostri due protagonisti hanno per conoscersi e comunicare. Non a tutti può piacere questo tipo di relazione e i caratteri molto forti dei due protagonisti, ma io li ho trovati incastrarsi perfettamente.
Leggendo attentamente la storia si può notare come Shingo in realtà non sia una persona superficiale come vuole dare a vedere, ma al contrario sia qualcuno che sta cercando di non creare legami per poi non dover soffrire nuovamente. Kagami che all'inizio cercava un divertimento all'interno del set si scopre affascinato da questa persona

Havia sentit a parlar d'aquesta sèrie entre un mig gat i un mig lleopard, però sembla mentida com de malament han envellit els BL de fa 10 anys (aquest és del 2012). Una relació ultratòxica, dominant, amb dosis d'humiliació i consentiment nul o ben dubtós, gelosia... M'encanta el disseny de personatge de l'uke, però la dinàmica de parella fa patir massa encara que en els següents volums s'intenti reconduir una mica. M'ha semblat una lectura horrorosa que no progressa i mira que he tingut paciència i he llegit coses com Don't Be Cruel, Vol. 01-02: 2-in-1 Edition, Vol. 1, però això no val res.

All unfavorable comments are legitimate: there is a rape, there is no great psychological insight. It's almost a no sense work.
But I would give some advice to these people: inform yourself at least a little about the bl manga you are about to read/buy, because yes, it is a pornographic work!!
And it's quite obvious. Furthermore, almost 50% of pure bl manga involve at least a semi-consensual or non-consensual sexual experience.
You may like it or not (I don't like it very much) but there is also this target, so it would always be good to inquire a little before buying this genre with your eyes closed. 😅

And it's quite obvious. Furthermore, almost 50% of pure bl manga involve at least a semi-consensual or non-consensual sexual experience.
You may like it or not (I don't like it very much) but there is also this target, so it would always be good to inquire a little before buying this genre with your eyes closed. 😅

Que maravilla de tomo. Cómo me gusta la saga Kuroneko la cual descubrí hace ya muchos años. Sakyo Aya es un reina haciendo homoerótica y todas sus historias están llenas de sexo. En esta historia donde mezcla fantasía, tenemos a Shingo un gato negro que se dedica a ir de flor en flor hasta que conoce al guapísimo actor Keichi Kagami un leopardo con el que tiene sexo. A partir de ese día ambos no dejarán de verse para saciar sus deseos y sus ansias hasta que del sexo pasen al amor.

Die Zeichnungen sind echt gut aber ich mag nicht die Beziehung zwischen Shingo und Kagami. Ich mag lieber Bezienhungen, wo die Teilnehmer gleichwertig sind.
Ich kaufte vier mehr Bände von Kuroneko und ich gluabe, dass ich sie alles lesen werde.

Ah, how do I put this... While I love the artwork in this manga, I’m not a fan of how the writer brought the MC and ML together.
And it turns out this manga has several volumes—ugh, I feel like I might get overwhelmed if I try to keep up with all of them.
That aside, Kagami is so handsome! Truly a real ikemen!

3.5 stars, I liked most of this authors stuff but its a lot of PWP, and the black cat character is very moody and distant. The sex scenes can be tedious and drag on but I did like it enough to read all of this mangakas stuff I could find!
