This book contains numerous 1-off snippets of wisdom, but on the whole I found it rather un-engaging. A few of the snippets I found interesting: 1) running is a way to feel alive 2) what are the critical components of community 3) finding understanding and meaning in moments of darkness 4) putting on a mask to unmask 5) the bindingness of familiarity
