Reading this book, it's so hard to believe that all of this actually happened to one man! But it all did. This is such an amazing true story of how a preacher was used as an undercover agent during World War II.
The Reverend Spy had so many exciting experiences and was used to protect our country from its internal and external enemies. I appreciated his humility and how he always gave God the glory for whatever good he accomplished in the way of uncovering plots against our country. And the fact that a number of Bureau men became Christians because of him is amazing!
This story should be more widely known than it is! If you read it, it will have you on the edge of your seat wondering what's going to happen next and how Twenty One Plus is going to get out of the latest scrape in which he finds himself.

A great story, but more than a story. These events actually occurred. Suspense will keep you hanging on to every word.

“He found that living with memories could be harder than facing the enemy in actual combat. He longed for the day when things would be normal again, and yet knew that it was never to be.”

I just finished reading this book to my kids just as my Dad read it to me and my siblings. I've also read it myself a couple other times over the years. It is a great tale all the more interesting because it is true! I wish they would make it into a movie! Telling a unique story of harrowing FBI covert ops during World War II, with an emphasis on operations to maintain the secrets of the Manhattan Project and uranium enrichment in Oak Ridge, TN, the book is true its title. I recommend!

I really love this book! My mother read it to me when I was young, and I really enjoyed it! I have three kids now and they just loved it! There is now an audio version and they have listened more than once!
