But when time runs out, they must trust one another and surrender to a wild, untamed love.

I probably should have gone back and did a Feral Warriors re-read before jumping into Wulfe Untamed. It has been close to four years since I read anything from this series. Admittedly I put off reading this installment because I knew it was the last one. I also started reading less paranormal for a while in a genre jump and here I am several years later reading one of my very favorite paranormal romance series.

Due to the time gap I do not remember exactly what book it is that Wulfe meets Natalie. She is involved in one of the many battels the Feral Warriors face with Inir in his attempts to free Satanan from the Daemon Blade. Natalie, her brother, and a few of her friends are captured to be used as a means to free Satanan. The Feral Warriors do what they do best (save the world from the evil that humans do not know exist) and are left with a couple of humans in their house that they must erase memories from. Natalie is one of those. During her time at Feral House Wulfe gets to know enough about her to know that he doesn’t really want her to leave.

And that’s how we start this book, Wulfe in his fur hanging out in Natalie’s backyard. Wulfe is scarred with a broken mating bond and knows that a woman is not in his future no matter how much he wants Natalie. That doesn’t keep him from wanting though. He never imagined that Natalie would want him just as much once the fur is gone and she sees the man beneath it. Natalie is just a smitten with Wulfe. She knows that the chaos that brought her back into Feral House should scare her away. It’s Wulfe’s constant presence that keeps her grounded in the midst of the worst times of the Feral’s lives. Little does she know it’s her being there in every way that will keep Wulfe grounded when the Feral’s need him the most.

Pamela ends this book at a place where readers get all the closure they need yet she could easily bring this world back with some new Feral's.

Natalie Cash has recently recovered from a attack where her friends were killed and her brother missing, but she doesn't remember it. Her memory has lost a week, but her dreams are filled with nightmares of creatures of the night. She doesn't know if her brother is alive or dead, but the police have told her to assume he is dead. So grieving for her brother, and feeling lost and confused, a wolf like dog has been around, even though he is huge, she isn't afraid of him. She sees a almost human tenderness in the animal's eyes, and a connection. But when one evening she ends up being attacked, her beloved dog turns into a beautifully shaped male who though should be intimidating, there is something about him she doesn't fear. She senses that he would never hurt her. But when it becomes apparent that Natalie is no longer safe, Wulfe decides to take her back home with him, he doesn't have any other choice. Wulfe feels a connection to Natalie, and even though a year ago he lost his mate, he feels a bond to Natalie he never had with his mate, one that makes it so every protective instinct inside him screams to protect her at all costs. With the danger of the mage getting closer, the key is Natalie, and Wulfe's intense feelings for her may be the only thing that may save all that he holds dear, including saving the millions of lives of humans before the daemons get to them.

Wulfe Untamed is the eighth in the series, and I was so thrilled when I was able to receive a free copy in exchange for a honest review from Avon through Edelweiss. I have the first two books and I just loved them. I don't know why, but I didn't continue reading the series, but when I was able to get a chance to read Wulfe Untamed I couldn't pass it up. Even though through the story I felt a bit lost at times, since I haven't stayed caught up with the series. However I was able to piece events together quickly, and I didn't find myself too lost. I would however recommend reading this series in order if you can. You can read them as a stand alone however you may find yourself a bit lost at times. The Feral Warriors series are about a band of immortals who are fighting to save as many lives as possible against a evil that is more powerful than they could imagine. The books are in a way interconnected with each other.

Wulfe Untamed starts out with seeing Natalie grieving, and being visited by a wolf like dog, and I enjoyed how the author set up the story, it had a very charming relationship these two start with in the story. Then Natalie is put in danger, and Wulfe's real identity is revealed. At fist Natalie is shocked and dismayed, but she accepts Wulfe for what he is, and doesn't freak out too much or go crazy. I enjoyed seeing that Natalie accepted Wulfe, even when she doesn't understand or comprehend what is occurring. As Natalie gets pulled into the action, and taken to the Feral House, she starts to see the bigger picture and how important their mission really is. As it has been a while since I have read the first part of the series, I could see that much had happened in the books I hadn't had a chance to read. So in the beginning I did get a little confused but as I continued with the story, pieces of the puzzle started to fall into place, and I started to catch up with events. After that I was able to breeze through the story. I have found the Palmer's writing hasn't changed since the first couple of books, just as captivating and sensual as she has always done. It is very easy to get into her stories, and I have fallen in love with this shifter series she has created. Pamela Palmer has a way of creating a story that makes the reader fall in love with the story from beginning to end, and still crave more even when the story is finished. Every time I read from this author, I know it will be a thrilling adventure, and the same holds true for Wolfe Untamed. There is such a intensity to the story, with quite a bit of action and suspense element involved in the plot, but there is also a uniqueness to the way that this couple is put together, A thrilling tale of action, suspense and passion!!

This is the 8th Feral Warrior book and it brings one of the main story arc's to an end whilst opening up a lot of new avenues for spin-offs and continuations.

Wulfe is unique amongst the warriors in the sense that he has been mated before and although they didn't quite have the bond that most Ferals seem to have with their mates, he felt her loss keenly. At the end of the previous book it was obvious that Wulfe felt something for Natalie and you could feel his pain as he had to let her go. Fortunately, or unfortunately, circumstances have brought them together again and this time they can't afford to erase her memory and send her away. Their continued closeness makes it that more difficult for them to fight their feelings for each other while fighting the demons and trying to stop them from releasing hell on earth.

Pamela really surprised me with this instalment, it is definitely one of her best and I'm eager to re-read the series again now. I love the idea of the Feral Warriors and the other races we have met along the way, I hope she continues to write in this universe.

Wulfe Untamed
3 Stars

Awakening every night with nightmares of a horrific experience of which she has no memory, Natalie Cash finds solace in the large wolf dog that visits her from time to time. Little does she know that the friendly canine is actually Wulfe, one of the feral warriors who rescued her from a deadly swarm of daemons bent on human sacrifice. As the threat to his people and to the human race increases, Wulfe is sent to watch over Natalie and ensure that her memories do not return. However, he soon notices a strange aura about her and when a unit of Mages attack, Wulfe realizes that Natalie is in danger and has no choice but to reveal his existence to her. Will she accept or reject the dangerous warrior whose scars are more than skin deep?

Wulfe, the scarred and tortured feral warrior with a mysterious past, has always been a favorite. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for his book as even though the overall story arc comes to a satisfying end, Wulfe’s romance with Natalie falls flat.

As this is the 8th book in the series, much of the book involves rehashing details that occurred throughout the series, which is unfortunate as it slows the pacing considerably and results in tediously descriptive passages and dialogue. While the desire to provide new readers with the information is understandable, if someone begins a lengthy series with book #8, they should expect a certain lack of knowledge and background, and it is unfair to expect readers familiar with the world and the characters to wade through it all once again.

That said, the conclusion to the epic battle between the feral warriors and the evil mages is action packed and exciting.

In terms of the romance, Wulfe’s background is interesting and explains a great deal about his tortured personality. The problem is that the chemistry with Natalie hinted at in book #5 completely fizzles in this installment. She is simply too saccharinely sweet to make a believably strong heroine and their sex scenes come across as mechanical rather than intense and intimate.

The books ends with some hints at a spin off involving some newly introduced characters and a potential conflict. If Palmer writes it, I will give it a chance.

The is the only book in the series I've read. It had such great reviews, but to me, it was okay— not a home run. I swear, these inane naming trends are gonna drive me insane. Wulfe is the hero, but there's also Lyon, and Tighe, and Grizz (oh my!).

The relationship between Natalie and Wulfe is sweet. The scarring idea is cool. The warriors needed to know which ferals were evil. I expected Natalie to use her ability to see the soul through the eyes. After all, her ability was mentioned several times. Waited for it...

I liked how Wulfe learned his history and accepted his true identity.

This is supposedly the big epic battle between good and evil, but it fell rather flat. Pacing is the problem with this book. The opening chapters were really strong (excellent even) but once Natalie came to Feral house, the pace slowed down. Lots of info-dumping in the disguise of dialogue. Apparently the author felt the need to revisit some backstory and to fully explain the current dilemma. She tried so hard to explain why the shifters were losing their ability to become animals, the problem with the scar on Natalie's cheek, the various rituals, and the primal power source. It became onerous, even ponderous. Not elegant, with repetitious and lengthy discussions about the daemons, the evil Mage, and Satanas, the most evil daemon ever to walk the earth. It wasn't until about 78% that the pace picked up again. Lots of "true love conquers all" noise -- backed up by sacrifice, so it wasn't only verbiage.

There is a weird feeling to this book. So many prayers to the goddess. All the rituals. Chanting, blood rites, shaman prophecy, etc. Not my thing.

Contents: A few explicit sex scenes (detailed but fairly tame), some bloody violence (beheadings, etc.), minimal or no profanity (thank you) and no typos noticed.

This book set the stage for a spinoff series, where good daemons and feral warriors hunt bad ones. The good daemons Spome and Ceroc were introduced here,

Though she doesn’t remember him, Feral Warrior Wulfe hasn’t forgotten Natalie and the brief time they spent together when she was nearly killed by his enemies. Unfortunately, Wulfe isn’t the only one who remembers her. Months after her attack, Mages are after her again and Natalie is pulled back into the world of shifters, Daemons, and Mages that are closer than ever to releasing hell on earth.

With his face covered in scars and suffering from a broken mate bond with a woman who never loved him, Wulfe believes he’s meant to be alone. Natalie, of course, proves him wrong. Natalie was first brought into the mix a couple books back when a group she was with was kidnapped and used as Daemon bait by the evil Mages that want to free Satanan, king Daemon. Determining it was safe, Natalie was sent home minus her memories but Wulfe hasn’t forgotten her or her kind heart.

I became a fan of Natalie’s during her first series appearance. Back for a second time, Natalie understands the danger and is rightfully scared yet she takes things in with logic and trusting her gut feeling. Eight books in, I did not want to wait for the story to move forward while Wulfe convinced her it was all real. What really stuck with me are her genuine, sweet feelings for Wulfe. She doesn’t see the scars others are repulsed by. She sees the kind heart and warrior spirit and when he starts doubting himself, Natalie is there to set him straight and be his anchor. Wulfe is easy to fall in love with. He’s a fighter down to his core with a history of heartache and he devotes his life to battling the forces of evil. When Natalie and Wulfe are together, you see they’re the missing piece of each other and Natalie becomes much more than just his love interest. Both knock it out of the park.

What the series has been building towards finally comes to a head in a winner take all battle. The Mages are close to releasing Satanan and his Daemon legion from their prison within the Daemon blade. When you encounter a story ARC like this, good versus evil for all the marbles, you know how events will unfold. In Wulfe Untamed, things aren’t as cut and dry and it was refreshing/frustrating at each turn. It was recently revealed that Wulfe has Deamon blood in him from way back and the Mages have figured out a way to mess with the Feral’s animals and bring in animal spirits thought extinct into Therians of their choosing. It really comes down to the wire and Wulfe is instrumental in the big show down. The suspense is nerve racking but it pays off in the end in a finale that actually lives up to all the buildup. I definitely had to sit back and take a deep breath when it was all over.

Pamela Palmer does a great job wrapping the main story ARC up but she also leaves a window open for future possibilities *cough* Grizz *cough*. I’ve had fun throughout the series and I sincerely hope it’s not the last I’ll see of these fine Warriors.

With this 8th and final installment in the Feral Warriors series from Pamela Palmer, the epic battle between the last remaining Therian shifters protecting our world and the Daemon-possessed Mage trying to destroy it finally comes to a heart-pounding, action-packed, and all-around satisfying conclusion.

Where many of the previous books in the series ended on a cliffhanger, leaving the Ferals and their Radiant in some sort of distressing peril, the events that unfold in Wulfe Untamed finally give the warriors their chance to earn a happy ending. There is much revenge to be had and even a little unexpected, heart-warming redemption!

Wulfe has always been understated and a little haunted, the kind of guy with a quiet inner strength who carries the weight of past sins on his shoulders... and, in Wulfe's case, on his face. Natalie was introduced as his love interest a few books back and their connection is sweet and deep. I love that his scars not only don't disgust her, she sees them as badges of honor and proof of his good heart. And YES, we finally get to learn just how he came by those scars and what his Daemon heritage really means. The epilogue was adorable and sweet, the perfect way to tie off the prevailing Therian-Mage-Daemon story arc. If you're a fan of the Feral Warriors series, you absolutely must read Wulfe's story! If you're new to the series, start with book one - Desire Untamed - so you won't feel overwhelmed by names and events and lore.

Wulfe Untamed is a satisfying and worthy end to a fantastic (and one of my personal favorite) series in paranormal romance! This happily every after has been a long time in the making, and the shifters and their mates have more than earned a little downtime. There are some open story threads that Ms. Palmer doesn't address, but they're minor and may possibly be the basis for a spin-off Ferals world series. For more info on the Feral Warrior stories and what may be in the pipeline for them, check out Ms. Palmer's FAQ here: http://www.pamelapalmer.net/faq.php?v...

Wulfe Untamed is the eighth and final book in Pamela Palmer's Feral Warriors series so it is obviously not a starting point. So much has happened in the Feral Warriors world that it's about time the boys FINALLY got their HEA's and were able to put the Daemon/Satannan thing to rest. The journey to that happily ever after was intense, action-packed, and damn near catastrophic.

Wulfe Untamed tells the story of Wulfe, the scarred yet sweet and smexy wolf shifter, and Natalie, a human female we met early in the Feral Warriors series. From the moment Wulfe and Natalie were together I knew they were going to be something special and I, for one, have been itching for this book like no other in the series. It was worth ever minute I had to wait and I'm beyond thrilled that this series went out with a bang instead of a whimper. It's awesome to come across a series that is strong from beginning to end.

Though bittersweet, Wulfe Untamed was the perfect finale to Pamela Palmer's fantabulously action-packed and super smexy Feral Warriors series. It was a-frakkin-mazing and everything I needed and wanted for my boys.

That being said, the resolution to the Feral Warriors story arc seems to have opened up another can of worms (so to speak) and I really, really hope that there will be a spin-off in the future. After all, there are still Ferals that need to be mated off and new species that have been introduced to the world. Here's where I beg Ms. Palmer, please, please, please don't leave Grizz and (who I believe is) his intended mate hanging. I liked her and would love to see more of them in the future.

They met before when he saved her life, but with a memory wipe she doesn't remember. Now he checks on her in his wolf form, so when something magically starts to change in her aura, Wulfe once again must join her life.

Natalie Cash barely escaped the evil that tore her family apart but she doesn't remember what happened. She dreams of a man who lays just out of her reach. When a lovely wolf starts to visit her home she feels no fear of him and even invites him into her home. When she is attacked by hooded men, the wolf becomes her savior but takes brutal injuries during the battle. In his injured state he changes into a man beautiful built but carrying vicious scars on his face. Sucked back into the secret world of the immortals, Natalie realizes Wulfe is the man from her dreams.

Wulfe is a fabulously wounded hero who champions Natalie...even though he knows Natalie is his mate. Wulfe battles with the need to keep her happy. He believes that can only happen by returning her back to her own world. Their story is passionate, heart wrenching and at time aggravating...numerous times I wanted to yell, just talk to each other.

Palmer pulls in all the characters that we've come to enjoy from her past installments of the Feral Warriors while adding this new couple to join this incredible family. I completely enjoyed Wulfe Untamed and look forward to what comes next.

I received this ARC copy of Wulfe Untamed from Avon in exchange for an honest review. This book is set for publication January 28, 2014.

When I started this series I didn't expect to like it. This was one of the better books in the series. Wulfe Untamed was published in 2014, its 2019 and I have only just finished the series. I saw the FAQ on Pamela Palmer's site say that she has to write stories for Vhyper and Grizz... its 2019.....come on.

First of all, can we just take a moment to mourn the fact that this is the last book in the Feral Warriors series? Seriously Ms. Palmer? How could you do this to us?!

Now that we have that over with, let us continue on. Wulfe Untamed is book #8 in the Feral Warriors series by author Pamela Palmer. The main characters are Wulfe and Natalie Cash. Characters from previous books are featured as well.

I was anxiously waiting for this book to arrive in my inbox. I love, love , LOVE this series and the writing. Ms. Palmer is an amazing author and has created a rich fantasy world featuring these Alpha animal shifters. While this book could be read as a stand alone if the reader is just dying to start with book eight, I wouldn't recommend it. To get the full effect of the world the author created -- and the plot itself -- starting with book one in the series is best to avoid confusion.

In this book, the Ferals are starting to feel the full effect of the evil created by Satanan and Inir. One by one, the Ferals are losing their animal spirits and are no closer to figuring out how to stop the evil two. As each warrior loses the animal spirit, Inir is one step closer to releasing Satanan into the human world for mass destruction. Natalie is involved in this as well now that Wulfe healed her wound in the previous book. She is now a key -- or conduit for better understanding -- for the Inir and Satanan to use.
While this book was good and one I was looking forward to, I will say that it was quite confusing at times even for someone who has followed this series since book one. Also, the ending was sort of rushed and not too exciting. We have this big build up in story for seven books and when we reach the conclusion in book eight, it is resolved too easily and too quickly.

The epilogue was touching and beautiful. I am sad though that we don't get to get stories for the other Ferals who had developing stories of their own throughout these books. I need to know what happens to the rest of them! <---- Pay attention Ms. Palmer!!!

Overall the series as a whole was great, amazing and action packed! The book as it is was just okay though with repetitive story, confusion and too quick -- if not easy -- ending.

REVIEW:

Wulfe & Natalie have a very sweet love story, even if it is filled with evil at every turn. Wulfe has been hurting since the death of his mate, but not in the way that most would think. But Natalie stirs something that he can’t quite figure out. When he finally realizes what he is feeling he tries to push her away, but Natalie is not having any of that. These two have to face a lot of issues between them and learn to lean on each other in the face of evil.

As I started to read Wulfe Untamed I realized that I have missed a few books in Pamela Palmers Feral Warrior’s series. While this didn’t take away from the story it just makes me want to go back and read the whole series again from book 1. Pamela has announced that his is the final book in the Feral Warriors series but I will say that I am holding out hope that she will write Grizz & Vhypers story. Maybe a spin off? Because both Grizz & Vhyper need to find their HEA

I believe this is the series conclusion though enough happens to instill hope for more or a spin-off series. If so, I'm so there.

I totally loved Wulfe and Natalie. I'm thrilled that Wulfe got his much needed HEA. Being the series ender, they finally persevere over the evil Mage. Most epilogues leave me wanting but not this one. I super ending to a terrific series.

It's been four years since I read my last Feral novel. I couldn't believe it until I actually looked at my read list because once I started reading Wulfe Untamed it was like I read the last book yesterday. I love Pamela Palmer and the rich detailed way she draws me into her world. It was bittersweet to read the last book in this series, probably the reason I waited so long to read it, I didn't want to leave the world she created.
Wulfe and Natalie are a perfect match, having met in a previous novel, but Natalie had to have her memories wiped due to keeping the warriors world safe. Natalie is right in the mix of danger once again due to her former stay with the warriors, but more so because of her strong relationship ties with Wulfe.
Their chemistry is off the charts, but Wulfe is unable to give Natalie what she needs. He was mated before and when that bond broke he was damaged. The two have to work through her missing memories and his prior relationship problems, but once they begin to work together they realize working as a team is better than working alone.
The story is wonderful as it wraps up the entire story arc, all the ferals make an appearance, and all of this is done while giving Wulfe and Natalie their own journey. Never once do you feel that the story is rushed or that Pamela had to just end the story because she had to meet a deadline. I hated to have the series end, but it was the perfect ending to the series.
I am going to miss reading about these beautiful, strong men, but thank you Pamela for creating them.

I previously started this series a few years back and stopped before Hawke's book as these last few hadn't been released yet. I re-read the series this year before reading the newest books to catch back up and fell in love with this series all over again! By far, Wulfe's book has been my favorite. To see how each one has changed since Kara and Lyon's book and to see where they are at now is awesome. I think Pamela picked a good time to give all these guys some happiness that they all have worked hard for, but I sure hope she decides to add to this series. I'd love to see Vhyper and Grizz find happiness and learn their back histories. And to see how the mated Ferals and their wives handle their biggest challenge of all....Parenthood! For readers who love Paranormal romance genre, I highly recommend this series.

Overall not bad. I was very disappointed that Vhyper never got a story. Seems a little unfair since he's one of the original characters and all the others got stories. Even Foxx, who wasn't in the original bunch of Feral warriors in the first book got his own book.
If I remember correctly, the author has another short story/ novella involving another peripheral character, but still nothing for the snake.
Shame.
It also seemed a little strange to introduce another plot line and new characters, only to drop them without finishing the stories.
Will Grizz ever hook up with Sabine? What about the Daemons and others races we just got a bunch of new info about?
What's up with that?

This book about Wolfe was one of my favorites! He is so caring of Natalie when she's in prison. Even though she's human he feels such a deep connection to her that he checks on her after her mind is wiped clean of her memories of what happened & him. He visits her in his wolf form just to see her. When she is found by mage he just happens to be there visiting her in his wolf form & fights to save her. With all his scars he is surprised she isn't scared of him! I read this book in 1 day I couldnt put it down for long!

Wulfe and Natalie's story is different from the previous paranormal books I have read. He is a feral warrior whose life is in danger of becoming a sacrifice to the evil Mage who wants to rule the earth. Wulfe and Natalie had met before, but she does not remember him. Together with the other feral warriors, they defeat the evil but know that the fight will continue if the human race is to be saved.
Good story, lots of action and good ending.

Great ending to a awesome series. ^.^ I liked that from the beginning Wulfe from the beginning trusted and always reached out to Natalie, that he never did the "i'm going to push her away because I don't deserve her" He let himself reach out and hold on to her. Everything was tied up and summed up great. The only think I wish different, is for Vhyper to have found his mate. He was the only original character that didn't get a HEA. :(

I'm so sad to see this series end. I really grew to love the warriors and I was hoping to read more about the newest ferals.

This is truly an underrated series in the paranormal romance / fantasy genre. I highly recommend the Feral Warriors series.

I didn't know that this was the eighth book in the series. Because of that it was confusing throughout. The characters, plot, timing, pace, descriptions, etc were good but would have made better sense in context to the rest of the story.

I was waiting for this one, and it didn't disappoint! Will miss this Series.. I was hoping maybe we'll get something more about Grizz, but maybe in the future :)!
Was a bit surprised with everything that turned out about Wulfe, but was so glad that Natalie and he got their happy ending :)...

Have now come to the conclusion of this book series . Wulfe's story took a turn I did not expect. I liked his background story. Finally, the feral warriors were in a tight corner and were almost defeated. Great way to end the series, but now leaves an opening for Grizzly story.

Wulfe, part daemon, feels the pull to Natalie. Saves her from the mages and it turns out they are the key to saving them all.
