What word should I use when a book is gripping, entertaining, page turning ,running adventure, thriller, with a right amount of love and sex immersed in an overall mystery. yet another sujatha's ganesh vasant series.

I literally couldn't keep it down!! Sujatha's screenplay writing abilities show through and through the characters, scenes and dialogues of this novel. I was a bit sad when it came to an end 😂

Odathea is a fast-paced thriller in which the protagonists, a newly married couple, are in a run from law enforcement for reasons that elude them completely. Making a very late appearance in the story, the brainy duo, Ganesh & Vasanth help untangle the mystery for the readers. The elaborate description of the escape of the couple from police who give them a spirited chase makes an interesting read, with Sujatha employing his classic writing style to keep the readers engrossed. But the explanation offered by Ganesh – Vasanth seems somewhat disjointed and force fitted in order wrap up the story.

Inspite of differences in methodology, there is a strange similarity to "Nillungal Rajave" because of a similar theme and Ganesh- Vasanth appearing in the last few chapters.

Surprisingly boring for a Sujatha thriller... The narrative is uneven.. missing logical thinking at many places.. and useless scenes all over...

Reading a Sujatha novel is always like watching a full fledged, perfetly executed commercial film. Odathey is also one of such novels, but the climax was a let fown for me.

This book was next to me when I was having dinner at my home. Accidentally I started to read the first few pages. Bang, the raciness started. I couldn't go to sleep with out finishing it. Engaging and fun filled writing by Vathiyar. Ganesh and Vasanth appears only towards the climax and the climax is some what an average one. But it was written 25 years back. It may not be appropriate to judge it at these times. Good read nevertheless.

An exceptional book. At the beginning, the story leads you nowhere, but as the plot thickens, it gathers steam and I couldn't put it down till the end. The final twist is the entry of Ganesh -Vasanth duo who take the complete the plot and finish of the story adding a whole new dimension. Was just amazed at the conclusion.

Nice story line.
Ganesh Vasanth don't play a role from the start. They come only towards the end of the story line. The ending can be guessed while reading the pages after Ganesh Vasanth entry.
