Raised a “military brat,” De’Lhila is one of the most lethal females to ever grace the IAESC. Combine that with a kick ass body, and you have a recipe for disaster when she’s left baby-sitting on an alien planet populated by warriors who believe barefoot and pregnant is the only way to go. Now not only does she have to deal with testosterone over-load, but she’s plagued with dreams that are a little too real to handle. Faced with an alternate reality, she’s forced to experience a sensuality she’s never expected to want...
Responsible for the continued honor and happiness of his clan, Neron's forced to escort a very reluctant De’Lhila. Everything about this female is wrong, so why is he so drawn to her. It must be the mating instinct kicking in because there’s not just one…but two females he wants...
Na’Dwah has always known she was different from her clan. Born a hybrid, she’s been careful to hide just what makes her so different. It’s been easy until Neron shows up. Drawn to both him and the strange female with him, she’s forced to acknowledge the part of her she’s tried to ignore and accept that her path may not be as clear as she thought...

I really enjoyed this story. It was a good continuation of the first one, meaning that there wasn't all the jumping around. De'Lhila for me was one of the characters that I found most interesting so I'm glad this one was about her. Good read.
De'Lhila was brought up to fend for herself, be self-contained and not to depend on others. This is until she meets Neron, and sparks fly. While at a healing retreat, De'Lhila and Neron become attracted to a healer. I like how the author shows the emotional challenges that everyone must face.
While i enjoyed this book i think that i enjoyed the first one more. I just couldn't really connect with De. but i still enjoyed it. would be interested in more in this series to find out what happens with Avi and TK and maybe even Missy.
I waited FOREVER for this book to be published. When came out I devoured it! It was as well written as its predecessor, but it lacked the same passion. I was a litle disappointed.
