A really nice, refreshing read about being a green parent. As a parent to be I'm terrified that all our ideals will go out of the window, but this book really put eco-friendly ideas into my head when it comes to parenting. A little outdated now, however the advice and recommended activities, structure and advice is still very relevant and interesting. Would highly recommend to anyone who's worrying about being a parent and remaining green. ☺️
While a little bit out of date, Green Parenting is worth the read. It asks the right questions about where to start, has a decent "further reading list" and while not exhaustive as a resource, has all sorts of suggestions and offers of ideas for the parent and family, whether they're lightly green, or heavily green.
This book was a little out-date by the time I read it, which is no fault of the author's, granted. However, I did find the tone too... preach-y. If you're starting to dabble in all things green I'd recommend looking for another book as this one will probably scare you off.
