OMG! Now this is how you make the wait worthwhile Miss Maureen. I have loved Manning and Taylor since Inferno, and I am happy to say love is better the second time around. Now with that said it was a few slutmonkey's in this book, and I guess they help the world go round. (Even if I don't know why) I really hate that Miss Maureen is a great writer, cause that means we have to wait so long for her to give us more magic. I haven't laughed and cried so much while reading a book in a long time, but I can't wait for the next Wolf Pack book, Hell and Tur either. Montana is a mess so I know it will be hot, but when haven't Miss Maureen's book's haven't? There is so much I could say about Seducing the Wolf, but that would me so wrong of me. So I won't and let you read it for yourself, please take notes you might need help getting your grove back and this book might work lol. Enjoy and happy reading.

An ENDEARING romantic ride w/Manning and Taylor...I enjoyed their budding teenage romance...and felt their pain at their 20 year separation...BUT the instant attraction and re-connection once they FINALLY met up again is AMAZING...it's like they'd NEVER been apart...the intimate scenes are extremely HOT & SPICY...the story is very detailed and quite lengthy...but DEFINITELY still a worthwhile read IMHO...as ALWAYS the full cast is COLORFUL and entertaining...and I can't wait for the next Wolf to fall...this was truly a happily-ever-after fairy tale!

I must say that I was one of those readers who was going crazy waiting for this book to finally be released. After reading this book, it was well worth the wait. Taylor and Manning was simply adorable in Inferno and they sizzled in Seducing pathetic Wolf! I will say that the timeline seemed a little off to me. I don't remember Manning being married in any of the other books but this one takes place before the other ones. It was a tad bit confusing. Manning Wolf is one smoking hot man and it seems like once you get a taste of him....you loose your mind and turn into a crazy stalker. I love all the flashback scenes. It takes us through their lives and what exactly happened. I can't wait to read the next book in the series. The Wolf Pack is BACK!!!!

First off, WOW, such a small word for a big impact. I waited eagerly for this book for over a year, was it worth it? It's Maureen Smith, so that goes without question. Did it meet my expectations? It's Maureen Smith, so that goes without question again. But of course once again she has raised the bar, this woman has a God given talent to make you laugh, cry, scream and pant, sometimes all at once. She will make you lose your job and your family because all you can do is pick up her book and not put it down until you reach the last word. And once again she has written a book that will reside on my re-read list, so that I may enjoy it again and again.

The only disappointing part of the book, was that little unresolved issue in the beginning of the book, but she resolved that nice and quickly, and in a way to appease my sensitive side. Thank you for that. And you know there was some Naomi Chase channeling in there because I did not see some of those situations coming, and that takes into account me constantly second guessing all those little clues. And to think I thought there would never come another MS character who I despised as much as Celeste...who knew?

Now that my heart is filled with such joy, I must put a damper on my own parade because the long wait for the next Wolf Pack novel begins again.....

SEDUCE THAT WOLF, TAYLOR….. This was another HOWLIN good novel by Mrs. Maureen Smith!!

This was a long book at over 8300 locations and I loved every minute of it. I'd forgotten how good it is to read a book like this; how hot it can be to read m/f sex scenes. Taylor and Manning were perfect for each other. I loved their story when they were teenagers (Inferno) and I love their story as adults.

Caitlyn was a hot mess but I liked her as a villain. I was shocked by another villain but it all made sense in the end. I know other stories are planned for the other Wolf brothers and it would be very brave and I'd be the first to buy the book if Maureen Smith would make one of the brothers gay. Taylor's friend Ken is gay so he'd make the perfect match for one of the Wolf brothers. Time will tell. I wish there was another book ready in this series for me to read right now!!!

I love this story! It is my favorite of the entire Wolf Pack series! I just re-read it for the 3rd time. It's just that good!

Manning Wolf is hot, sexy and successful! He comes from a large, loving family. Taylor Chastain does not! They were childhood sweethearts. After the tragic death of Taylor's baby brother, Manning and Taylor were forcibly separated from one another through duplicity and deceit. 20 years later they meet by chance.

This story has everything: love, family drama, jealousy, power struggles, crazy exes and some super fine Alpha men!

Awesome story!

I absolutely LOVED Manning and Taylor's story. I just wish they hadn't been separated for so long. I was so angry when I learned the cause of their separation that I had to stop reading to calm myself down!! That this book evoked such strong emotions from me is a testament to Maureen Smith's skill as a writer. She is and remains one of my favorite authors of this genre. I can't wait to read the rest of the series.

Maureen Smith!!!!! I thoroughly enjoyed reading this story! Felt so many different emotions while reading this and I have to say that this by far my fav book out of the Wolf pack series. I didn't want the story to end so the fact that the book was longer than the others was perfect for me! Still on cloud nine! Well worth the wait!

Once again, I read this story several years ago, and it was still as amazing as the first time. The Morehouse Nine crew were live and in living hues of handsome. Having this second chance couple find their way back to one another was beautiful. Marcus and Samara were meant to be together. I am happy they defied their odds of finding one another after a long time of being apart. Bravo!

RTC but:

This was weird.

This book has OMD/OWD as the FMC has a boyfriend and the MMC is, of course, always attracting crazy women. But what’s funny is that we were told to sympathize for the FMC cheating on her boyfriend with the MMC since he’s a shitty partner and, well, the MMC and FMC are meant to be.

But like… Why is no one pointing out the FMC is a spineless cheater?

It’s funny. No one has an issue that the FMC is a cheater all because her (now ex) boyfriend is shitty and ended up being a cheater. But two wrongs don’t make a like.

And then the FMC has the nerve, while in a relationship, to be upset when the MMC is hanging out with a female friendZ

Girlfriend 😒

WHAT WOULD HAVE INCREASED MY RATING

Less making the FMC a perfect victim, please.

I would’ve loved if everyone called out the FMC for being a cheater and the MMC encouraging cheating. Have the FMC realize that, should she have children, she’s not breaking the cycle of cheating on a partner instead of leaving them. Have the MMC’s family have a tainted view of the FMC due to her cheating and also them be upset the MMC encouraged children. Have them remind the MMC his actions will follow him and if he would be supportive of his child being a cheater.

Making the FMC less of perfect victims and both the MCs understand the depth of their actions would have rated this higher.

Manning Wolf is a handsome, successful businessman living in Atlanta, who beds them and leaves them. He loves his family and running his biotech corporation. His only flaw is a broken heart from his childhood love, Taylor…and then he runs into her…and her boyfriend. Sparks fly and the rest, as they say, is history.

Taylor Chastain is a Grammy winning violist, who lives in Paris, and in Atlanta to teach a music class. Those who know their history, wonder if she is back in town to open a wound or rekindle a flame. What she's really seeking is answers to why her letters went unanswered, years ago.

What she got, was so much more!

My first read by Maureen Smith is full of love, drama and secrets. The writing style is superb and the characters are memorable. I'm looking forward to reading more of this series.

Swweeeeet Lawwwwddddddd....Ladies We All Need A Wolf Man in our Lives!!!!

Seducing the Wolf picks up years later after Inferno. We now have Manning and Taylor as adults, neither has seen the other in over 20 years but a text from Mama Wolf to Manning will tilt his whole world upside down. The one person who he has always pined away for slams back into his life like a Category 5 Tornado and for these two people life as they know it will never, ever be the same.

Taylor Chastain, Grammy award winning classical violinist has traveled and performed all over the world. She now lives in Paris but has accepted a summer teaching position for 3 weeks at Emory music school where she is teaching the music students different classical music pieces which they will perform along side her with the Georgia Symphony. Taylor is in a relationship but one morning she literally runs into none other than Manning Wolf, her childhood sweetheart and only true love.

These two coming together is it fate or circumstance? Manning seems to believe so but convincing Taylor will be a different story. These two together the chemistry is off the charts it will literally scorched your hands through your Kindle or Nook LOL!!! Well as much as we all love scorching love scenes, the story itself was full of emotion, heartbreak, loss, betrayal and unconditional love.

It was soooo wonderful to catch up with the other members of the Wolf Pack, Quentin, Lexi and yes everyone Queen Asha Dubois herself. Author Maureen Smith just weaved everyone into the story so effortlessly without missing a beat. Like another reviewer stated, it is just so refreshing and wonderful when we you can read a book about family oriented, successful black people. It just makes the story that much more than a 5 star rating.

All I can say is you haven't really read until, you pick up one of Maureen Smith's books. I have read all of them and I can tell you it is never a dull moment, her stories will keep you on the edge of your seats and also cause you to compose your own list of the type of men in her stories to present before God and say, "God this is who I want in a Man" YESSSSSSS!!!!!!

Well Until My Next Review Ciao Bellas!

This book in a word was AMAZING!! I have been waiting so long for Taylor and Manning's story, and let me tell you it was definitely worth the wait!! I have loved Manning since he made his appearance in Inferno. And then as he grew up and made his appearances in other books, that love turned to lust!!! YES! Manning is one fine cup of hot chocolate!! Miss Maureen had me blushing and smiling like he was talking to me!! LOL!! I love the way that Taylor and Manning ran into one another on an off chance. There was definitely fate at work. This book made me laugh, cry, and of course on certain parts made me feel some kind of way!!! But of course no book is ever without drama and there were two...count em', two drama queens that had me cussing up a storm!!! I wanted to reach into my Kindle and throat snatch them heffas!!! There was such fire and passion between Manning and Taylor that it made me want a Wolf of my very own!! Not to mention that Maureen introduced some secondary characters that interested me. Gabby and Tru...I'm looking at you. It was great to catch up with the Wolf Pack and I can't wait for Montana's story next!!! Maureen did an excellent job of showing us how sweet teenage love transfers into an adult love full of seductive passion. This book is definitely on my list of 2014 favorites!!!!

Losing track of each other over the span of two decades, Taylor and Manning meet again by chance...or was it fate? As tragedy struck in the past, malcious intent drove a wedge between young love and as it so happens it would take redemption and forgiveness to bring them back together. As a world famous violinist, Taylor has tackled the hardest pieces of classical music but has always played it safe when it came to her heart. An avid 'player' himself, Manning finds it hard to forget the one that got away, but the past has a funny way of repeating itself..and sometimes the good comes along with the bad.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book; as the longest novel to date written by Mauerren Smith, it was certainly worth the wait. I have enjoyed many of her novels, actually most of them but this one really had me emotional. I could see the love, knowledge, and emotions she put into this book. The plot flowed and gave a great account of the past, present and future to come. I enjoyed the interactions between the characters, especially Manning and Taylor. And I loved the character development each of them had as the plot progressed. I also enjoyed catching up with the rest of the Wolf pack. Great read M.S. I look forward to your other books and series to come.

I will be the first to admit that Taylor got on my nerves seems like as a you girl she was lead around doing what she had to do because she was a child but what was her excuse as an adult? I did not like that about her . I was happy to see her grow into a woman i could respect. The way she handled Caitlin at the concert showed how much she grew as a woman it was really good to see her growth. Manning and Taylor's story was one that I have been waiting on for a while and I can truly say it was worth the wait. Maureen Smith has been a favorite of mine for a while now and it was good to see come back to writing with a book like Seducing the Wolf I felt she set the ground work for future books want to see Gabby end up with a member of the WOLF PACK , and I want to see Tru Fall in love hopefully Taylor's father will find happiness because I spent a long time not liking him in this book. Good job Maureen Smith I can't wait to read the next book.

Well worth the wait AND the price! I loved Taylor and Manning's story; it truly felt full and complete, leaving no questions answered. So nice to see what started out as puppy love come full circle and blossom into a true, lifelong love.

Excellent job, Mrs. Smith! I have read all of your books, and can honestly say that I've NEVER been disappointed.

This book was long worth the wait! I believe this was longest book Ms Maureen has every written and I for one did enjoy the many pages. It was well written and Manny and Taylor story had the feel of a movie. It was great catching up with the other characters and she gave you tidbits to help you stay current in everything. I had been surprised by the intensity of the turmoil that plagued Taylor while growing up and the twist involving her parents. No spoilers, read for yourself. Side note, she did not skimp on the heat, just in case you needed more incentive! Enjoy!

Seducing the Wolf was absolutely, positively the BEST book in the Wolf Series. Maureen kudos to you, well worth the wait. You brought it all in this book the HEAT, FIRE & EXPLOSION. I can honestly say that I felt every emotion possible! OMG and Manning Wolf is every girls DREAM MAN he is definitely worth being seduced. I have always love childhood sweetheart stories; however Manning & Taylor was on a higher scale, they truly meant to be.
A MUST READ… BUT PLEASE START FROM THE BEGINNING CAUSE ALL THE WOLF MEN ARE HOTTIES

I was absolutely thrilled when this book was released after waiting so long, and I must say it was well worth the wait. Maureen Smith proves she is one of the most brilliant writers around, but I already knew that. Manning and Taylor's story draws you in from the first page to the last. Their story persevered through tragedy , separation and deception to find each other after 20 years of separation. You rock Maureen Smith and I will continue to read all your books.

Everyone deserves a Manning.

Wow! I loved this book so much! Taylor and Manning’s love for each other was the sweetest, hottest thing I’ve read in awhile. After nearly 20 years apart because of deceit, they reunite and know they still love each other.

Manning is everything you want in a book boyfriend alpha, sexy, fiercely protective of his lady, knows what he wants and doesn’t beat around the bush about it! I love how he constantly put any woman coming onto him in check. Let’s not forget Taylor, she was such a sweet, real person. I didn’t love that it took so long to wrap things up with Aidan but I got over it.

This is the first book in this series that I’ve read, and although it took a minute to get a grasp on everyone and I could sense I was missing some stories, it didn’t take away from this story in the least bit. I absolutely adored all the successful black people in this book. There were authors, violinist, a scientist, educators, firefighters, chefs, etc.

While this was my first book that I’ve read by this author, it definitely won’t be my last! Highly recommend!

Matthew 19:6, what therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.

No one, not even someone that is nearest and dearest to you, can stop you from receiving your destined blessings. Geez, this was a beautiful novel that showed that what is meant to be will be, no matter how long it takes. And the pay off is so worth it. Once true love is there, everything else WILL work out.

I love the length of this novel - you get a well rounded story of the main characters including ALL of their adorable and interesting family members (and not so adorable ones), friends, enemies, and co-workers. I enjoyed reading about Manning - a black scientist, and Taylor - a black violinist, of which you don't hear about in the media often but you know they're out there! It was at the point of which I cried while reading this novel is when I realized that it deserved 5 stars! Maureen is a damn good writer.

My favorite Wolf Pack book!!!

I've read this book sooo many times now. Truly my favorite in the series. Beautiful and heart wrenching. I was cheering Manning along in his quest to win Taylor back, no matter what it took. The absolute devotion they had for each other was inspiring and enviable. I love this family. They are what unconditional love is all about! Many thanks to the author who never disappoints!

My rating really is 4.75 Stars!

Loved it!

Man (no pun intended) I'm glad Manning and Taylor got it together. Greenville on book. Thoroughly enjoyable.
I must say the Author knows how to write and build characters. Couldn't stand that Caitlyn, and some of the crap she said, too much, but you know there are folks believe some of that nonsense.
Look forward to read the rest of the series.

I had no idea that Naomi Chase wrote under another name because the Exposed series was everything! So after reading Inferno, I could not wait to read about Manning and Taylor because I love a good friends to lovers book and this book was IT! I SERIOUSLY didn't want it to end. A beautiful love story! Maureen Smith you did that!
