Myra Danson has to die. The only question that remains is the kind of afterlife she’ll enjoy.
Selling her blood with a side of sex as a blood courtesan was supposed to have been about saving her mom, but now Myra has to go deeper into the vampire world in order to save herself. A hidden past she never knew existed is coming for her and now everyone wants her; dead or alive.
Being blood bound to the handsome vampire Kristos Anastos offers some protection, but her only real hope? To die faster than they can kill her.
An erotic vampire romance novella that completes the story started in Blood Rush. Approximately 30,000 words (also known as half a novel).
WARNING: Contains sexy vampires along with fast paced action and adventure.

Wow! This was so much more action packed than the first! I loved it! We meet back up with Myra and Kristos who are on the run. Bullets and Holy water still fly and we get lots more action. Of the bedroom variety as well ;) Ms. Fox definitely knows how to weave such a great tale for a shorter book! It felt like everything was there that's in a full length minus all the unnecessary details which can sometimes clog up a book. I really enjoyed these two books!
Thanks to Ms. Fox for providing my copies for reviews! :-)
My initial reaction to starting this book was "YAY!" Having just finished Blood Rush, I was more than ready to jump into this one. I just had to know what was going to happen to Myra and yummy Kristos.
From page one, this book was full of drama, action and heart stopping moments. My "Yay!" quickly turned into "OMG!"
I couldn't put this down. I was hooked. Not only were Myra and Kristos back in full sexy glory but they were on the run to keep her safe. This book was full of twists and turns. People were coming out of the wood work to try and control Myra.
I did have some lingering questions though...What happened with her blood courtesan job? Obviously she wasn't going back to work, but nothing was mentioned about her leaving the job after she left Kristos' penthouse. Was she fired? Was her boss informed? Did she ever get paid? My other question...her mom. There was mention of the mom getting treatment, but it was never explained how that was possible. Now, these aren't huge details in the overall scheme of the story, but I did wonder about them (I’m weird that way).
My only real complaint about this book is that it's a part two. I would have rather had a full novel instead of two novellas. But that's just me. Michelle Fox knows how to do amazing things with a novella. There were times that I was watching the percent bar, worrying about how Myra was going to make it out of her predicament and if she would get a HEA or if there was going to be another book following this. But I shouldn’t have worried, there was a very nice HEA at the end.

I'm lazy, so this review is for this book and its prequel - Blood Rush. I have to admit that I enjoyed the tale. It was better than I had expected. It wasn't a grand vampire saga, but it was a fun read. The vampire backstory and the humor kept me reined in. I may consider reading more of this author's work. 3.5 stars!
So now we find out why everyone wants Myra. Kristos still plans on protecting her but can he really keep her safe? Lots of action and I liked this book
