This is a high school textbook. Great overview, straight forward history of the world beginning with fall of the Roman Empire/beginning of Christianity (30 AD) through 1492. Chapters covering not only all of Europe, but South America, Middle East, China, Japan, West Africa, Germanic kingdoms. Evolution of organizational dynamics from tribal to city states, to nations, economic forces for development of cities, trade, education, governments. The role of religions in the various cultures. I will keep this for general reference.
