Kabbalah Dictionary

Rate this book
The goal of this dictionary is to provide a genuine picture of the true Kabbalah. In the rare books that deal seriously with the subject, the concepts of the Zohar and the Kabbalah are often quoted but not explained. The study of Kabbalah involves a good comprehension of its general idea, as well as its details. To learn the Kabbalah, it is necessary to be familiar with its usual terms and appellations, because in the language of Kabbalah, particular expressions and metaphors, as well as anthropomorphisms are used. In this dictionary are explained the main concepts and expressions used in Hebrew and also in Aramaic. For words or concepts hard to understand out of context, examples are given of their usage in the Zohar or in other Kabbalah texts. Also included is a dictionary of acronyms, often found in the Zohar and other Kabbalah texts.
