If you are expecting fine details on physical interrogation, look elsewhere. This is a primer, and it's nothing the more creative person can't think of on his or her own. If you have watched a modern horror film that isn't based in the supernatural, you've witnessed some of these techniques. I will say that the only surprising thing was how the author was really concerned with no leaving scars or permanently damaging someone.
