This book covers much of the same ground as Genesis and Science: Where Is the Evidence Going?, but in many ways it goes into greater depth. The explanations are more detailed, the evidence is discussed at greater length, and the author takes time to carefully define and explain technical terms for the reader.

While the later book presents many of the same arguments in a more condensed and updated form, this one provides the fuller treatment of those ideas. Readers who want a deeper exploration of the evidence and the reasoning behind a biblical view of creation will likely appreciate the additional detail provided here.

Overall, it serves as a more thorough companion to the later work, expanding on many of the same themes and arguments.

Provides a compelling model for integrating Biblical with scientific truth, based on a shared approach to hypothesis development and testing. Provides many examples of anomalies (data that are difficult to interpret consistently) for both a creation science and a naturalistic evolution perspective. Argues that further careful scientific research and thoughtful Bible study will eventually allow resolution of all apparent conflicts that currently seem to exist between Biblical faith and science. Using many examples of successful resolutions of this variety, the authors invite readers to trust God who has proven Himself trustworthy.
