Angela D. Coleman is an award-winning sisterhood activist, publisher and author who lives, works, trains, and travels throughout the United States, United Kingdom, Africa, Europe, and the Caribbean.

Angela grew up in Newark, New Jersey and graduated cum laude from Princeton University with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Psychology and a minor in African American Studies. After founding Sisterhood Agenda, she earned her Nonprofit Management certification from Duke University and Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Phoenix, plus additional certifications in trauma, psychological first aid (PSA), holistic medicine and science.

Angela was awarded the Jefferson Presidential Award for Public Service and is proud to be an Ashoka Fellow. She loves to teach and host SEA Retreat activities at Sisterhood Agenda’s eco-friendly headquarters, the SEA: Sisterhood Empowerment Academy, based in St. John, U.S. Virgin Islands. Angela travels regularly for women's empowerment activities, sisterhood gatherings, health, wellness and healing events.
