Marley House

Rate this book
Home from college for what she thought would be a relaxing weekend, Lindsey Carleton finds herself accepting a babysitting job as a favor for her mother's friend. Lindsey is dreading it, remembering the family's mischievous son, Blake, who enjoyed causing trouble for her the last time she babysat him.

The family has moved since she last saw them and they don't live in just any house. They live in the Marley house.

The Marley house has a past filled with the dark secrets of an evil man who lived a double life. From the moment she arrives, Lindsey soon realizes that Blake will be the least of her worries on this night and that the stories about the haunted old Marley house might be true after all.

A great spooky tale.

When Lindsey is asked to do a babysitting favour, she's not keen, however, reluctantly, she agrees.

The family have moved into Marley House, a house with a past as she is to discover.

This story is a spooky and I found it a really great read, the storyline and characters were good and it was just what I was looking for in a short horror story.

I look forward to reading more from this talented author

Whose Home Is It?

Great short story scary short story. The storyline flows smoothly and the story even thou it is short, it lacks nothing and when you reach the end of the story it feels complete.

This was a fun but fairly typical teenaged babysitter in a haunted house short story. Creepy enough to hold your attention.
