"I have just started reading the book and right from its first chapter it is really interesting. It catches the readers attention with the smoothsway and transition from one point to an other and with an accessible and a straight-to-the-point explanation of theoretical points.
A detailed clearly explained first chapter. It offers a "comprehensive" analysis of Vonnegut's sway between modernism and postmodernism in his writings illustrated with instances from diffrent novels and focusing on the techniques Vonnegut uses."

读这本书之前我还有两本提到的冯内古特的小说没有读，一本是泰坦的海妖一本是黑夜母亲。
读英文书对我来说还是一个困难的任务，断断续续（一种很后现代的阅读方式）地，花了大概两个月我终于把它看完了。笔记做了总共15页，还来不及回顾。但是我觉得读这本书有很大收获，因为通过冯内古特和这本书的作者，我对美国文学和整个后现代景观有了更加深刻的了解，另一方面对这14本小说的内容也有了全新的体会。
