Livro bem prático sobre como desenvolver campanhas de comunicação em saúde. Embora muito citadas ao longo do texto, as teorias de mudança de comportamento são apresentadas de forma breve, ficando, basicamente, num esquema "vantagens/desvantagens" entre elas. A autora, experiente profissional na área, descreve várias formas de comunicação, seja a interpessoal, a de médico-paciente, e a de massas, normalmente utilizada neste tipo de ação, mas que deve estar integrada com todas as outras. As recomendações ficam repetitivas ao avançar a leitura; são adaptações, para outros meios, dos conceitos definidos inicialmente. O grande foco do livro é a importância de se conhecer o público-alvo envolvido na campanha, assim como o ambiente em que ele está inserido. Ao final, sugestões de sites e outros conteúdos sobre saúde pública e comunicação.
