What's got Alley Petes shaking in her boots? Could it be the time she watched Nana Wilson's wig run down the hallway? Or perhaps, what she saw go into her lunchbox? Whatever it was, it couldn't be worse than the letter she received in the mail from her teacher. This year Alley Petes is returning back to Park Hill Elementary School. She's going to Pre-Second and can't wait to show off her new talents. She's a bit nervous about meeting her new teacher, Mrs. Morris. And after the first encounter with her, Alley is convinced she must be related to the wicked witch. But Mrs. Morris is not the only problem Alley has to contend with. There's something spreading through her school and it's her job to stop it before it makes everyone go crazy.
