Alice Eats: A Wonderland Cookbook
This delightful volume is the full text of the original Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, by Lewis Carroll, with recipes and photographs by Julie Van Rosendaal and new, full-colour illustrations by Pierre A. Lamielle.
The assortment of inventive recipes in this book, all inspired by characters and events from the original story, include such imaginative and enticing dishes as:
Cheshire Cat’s Grinny Grainy Mustard Rarebit
White Rabbit’s Cucumber Frames with Three Fillings

I wasn't really sure of what to make out of this book. Was it an entertaining book for really eccentric adults or for art students. The recipes were ok, there were none that really blew me away. There were a couple that seemed a little strange. I did think this was a creative cookbook, it incorporated the story of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll with recipes. It seemed like the recipes were inspired by Tim Burton's version of Alice In Wonderland. If you are looking for a very adventurous tea party, then this is your book.

Review WIP
Due to a tight schedule and with the fact that I already know Alice's Adventures in Wonderland by heart, and that the other half is actual cookbook which I do not have the time to try out the recipes, I skimmed through this the first round, but intend to revisit for sure. Would recommend anyone who are interested in tea party menus to check it out!

Alice is one of my very favorite stories. The confusing word play and strange characters is such fun. The full color illustrations are just as crazy and artistic as the story. The recipes were fun. There is a whole tea party menu included, as there should be! It met expectations. I made the pork and pepper soup and the cheesy rarebit. Both yummy! I am planning to make more. If you’re a fan of Alice as I am, you will love this rendition

This is a fabulous, adorable book. I especially love the whimsy, bold, and super colourful illustrations and the creative but classically-themed recipes.
This book is such a winner - as a cookbook, and as a piece of art essentially. And it includes the Alice in Wonderland text.
I've made several recipes from the book already, including Queen of Hearts' Red Velvet Cupcakes and Alice's No-Wine Jellies, and I will of course make more.

A fun read as well as lots of yummy recipes! I am happy to have it in my cookbook collection!
