I've been interested in/in love with 1960s pop culture, especially the music and fashion, since I was a pre-teen and this book and its accompanying website were so very helpful when I was just beginning to study the decade in more depth. I got this book to learn more about just a few women but while flipping through the pages looking for someone, someone would catch my eye, and I was able to discover so many new musicians and actresses. There are a lot of great pictures here and the colourfulness of the book makes it so fun to read, even after reading it about a hundred times!
Boy did this book bringback the memories. I reconised so many of the names etc from when I was young. It sure made me feel my age. I wish there were pictures that were more up to date to see what these people look like now, eventhough what sticks in your mind is what you remember of that day and what you may see in reruns. Life does march on.
This is just a fun read for anyone who grew up in the late-60s and early-70s. You name the female clebrity, model, sports star or actress, and she is in here. The nice aspect is that it is in fun and covers the internatinal scene.
