Sam Crescent is passionate about fiction. She loves a good erotic romance and so it only made sense for her to spread her wings and start writing. She began writing in 2009 and finally got that first acceptance in 2011 by Total-E-Bound.
She loved creating new characters and delving into the worlds that she creates. When she’s not panicking about a story or arguing with a character, she can be found in her kitchen creating all kinds of havoc. Like her stories the creations in the kitchen can be just as dubious but sometimes things turn out great.

Cynthia is dying and rather than live her life tied to tubes she has decided to live her way for whatever time she has left.

I am really surprised that I picked Trapped Between Two Alphas to read. Don’t get me wrong it is one of my favorites from Sam Crescent. I just cry enough these days without any help so reading this one just adds fuel to the fire so to speak and yes there are points where you really will want to cry when you read this story.

Cynthia is very sick but she is tired of fighting a losing battle that leaves her a pincushion living under a microscope. She wants what time she has left to be on her terms and her way. I honestly can’t blame her there. It breaks my heart every time I get to the part where Kris and Matt meet her and she knows she can’t follow her attraction for them. Then there’s Matt and Kris who fall for Cynthia and know that something is wrong, I am impressed with their strength of will. I could almost see the scenes play out in my head while my heart broke for those two Alpha wolves. I think my favorite part of this whole book would be the rockin’ bedroom scene, you will need a cold shower or your significant other around for those and then of course my other favorite part would be the curve ball that I didn’t see coming and seem to forget about every time, I am not telling you where it is but I can promise you won’t expect it.

This book was ending nicely...on its way to a solid 4 stars, if not 5. Then I get to the last paragraph. WTH???? Seriously, why did the author go there?

WARNING POSSIBLE SPOILER!!!!!!

I fully support same sex marriage 100 percent. But, I don't like going there in my reading, not at all, not even implied.

This is part 1 of what looks like a saga, probably a trilogy as it is often the case.

I was very chocked to do not find the quality I found in her other books into this one.

I found so many inconsistencies that is generally the mistakes that a new author would make. Not the case with this author who published already many menages.

Not credible at all. Convenient and easy plot development. Conclusion: I did not like it much.

Seems to me that Sam Crescent was either not inspired or tried to deliver a quick werewolf menage story that I read hundred times before

Lesson learned: do not believe that an author can deliver 5-star each time eh? :P

This story was just too short for all that was going on in there, mating, human hunters, transition... In a novel it would have been a great read (if it was well written) but in a few pages trying to tell so much it's just not working. So in the end you have a story with no depths in the characters (i could't tell the 2 males apart cause simply there wasn't enough pages to describe them). It felt rushed. I believe it would have better to leave the human hunting stuff out and concentrate on the mating thing between the 3.

Trapped Between Two Alphas By Sam Crescent .

This story was an enjoyable read and could of been the start of a whole new series. Hopefully the author can revisit this story in the future because it has a lot of potential. Even a secondary story because the chemistry between the two male leads left us teased at the end and that could of been explored so much more.
Cynthia Lewis is a young woman who has gone through so much in her short life but has lost her fighting spirit. She decides to spend her final days on her own terms. She rents a cabin that is managed by two guys named Kris and Matt who own the land either side of the cabin who also turn out to be self made enemies and wolf shifters. They both experience the feeling of the bond when Cynthia arrives so they have to learn to get along together again, convince her to give them both a chance, save Cynthia, convince her that shifters exist and also save their packs as well as fight off hunters all in a short space of time. It was an enjoyable read filled with emotion and spicy scenes and some action. I just wish the story was longer, certain points could of been explored so much more such as the relationship between Kris and Matt, that tease at the end gutted me as i did not want it to finish there lol. Also more menage scenes, more fighting and tracking the hunters, dealing with other packs that are mentioned. Like I say above I hope the author gives this story a bonus novella where we can catch up with these characters and teased about other books coming forward. That would be great news. All that being said this is still an enjoyable read just as it is. Happy Reading!

It endEd right on the best part!! Grrrr.

WTH?!? Right at the last couple of sentences it finally got GOOD! It might not be for everyone but I would have liked to see the two male leads getting closer. Wink, wink. Lol.

Either way, it was a nice read. A nice werewolf twist. Just wish it was a little dirtier. Especially as it could have gotten dirtier but ended instead. Oh well. Enjoy.

I wasn't able to get into this one. I loved the concept but the execution wasn't there. I normally look past wrong word choices, poor grammar, or spelling but this one was a little much. Something about it didn't flow.

4 out of 5 stars. Steamy and still gets in some great action of other kinds too.

Cynthia is taking control back. She has been stuck in hospitals the last several years fighting illness and wants freedom before the end. Renting a cabin in forest that border two states sounds like the perfect get away. She just wants to get as far away from hospitals as she can to enjoy herself and live a little. There's also the matter of getting rid of her pesky virginity.

Matt and Kris haven't seen eye to eye for years. Location dictates that they have to tolerate each other because they border each other's packs. When Cynthia rents the cottage that boarders both of their lands though, they quickly realize that they are both meant to be with her. Can they put aside years of resentment and hate for her?

Matt and Kris quickly realize that Cynthia is sick, they just can't place their finger on what that deathly smell is. As if that wasn't bad enough while trying to figure out how to save Cynthia, they are being hunted. Every one is a suspect, no one is above suspicion. Who is hunting the packs?

I enjoyed this book. I was great to see Cynthia take control of not just her life when her health was at risk, but she turns out to have a back bone and kicks butt. Matt and Kris also are not just Alpha men that are all brawn and no brain, but there is good character development giving them great depth.

Matt and Kris used to be good friends until they dated the same girl in high school. Now they rule their own packs and fight all the time. It causes strife between the two packs. I started thinking why don’t they just get along and stop being hardheaded alpha wolves. I would have a hard time choosing between these two.

Cynthia is dying and knows that she doesn’t want to die in the hospital where she has spent almost her whole life. She has told her doctor to take her off her medicine and she signs out of the hospital and goes away. If only she knew what would happen having to live between Kris and Matt. She feels a deep connection when she touches them and there is just something abut them that makes her want both. It would be hard to make a decision.

In this book I just got lost as I was reading. It turned to be a great book and I wondered how I was going to write my review. You just don’t have the alpha wolves trying to break it to Cynthia about what they are and get her to accept them so they can turn her. You have hunters that are stealing wolves from packs and are out to kill all the wolves. These two alphas have to come together to get rid of them and save their packs.

This was an exciting book and I could just imagine everything that went on was real. It was exciting and suspenseful. I got to experience a really great adventure. In a way this book can really pull at your heartstrings. Yes this is a menage book but it is tamer than usual.

This was at best an ok read. The writing was not smooth and there was more telling than showing with respect to the developing relationship among the three main characters. I never felt either the lust or the love that supposedly existed between Cynthia and the two males. The description of the war between the weres and the hunters lacked any real suspense, and the scene where the main characters interact with their dead parents was just hokey. Overall, one scene did not blend smoothly into the next. It felt as though the author had drafted the outline of the story and then just expanded on the individual points of her draft.

I'm prepared to give this author another chance only because some reviewers mentioned that this was not Crescent's best work. If not for these comments, I'd have to pass on this author.

Natalia never thought that the weather would change so fast on her, but it did. I was just as happy as her when she came upon the cabin that held Ash and Ryan inside. Two guys and one girl is always hot.

Ash didn't want to let her in, but Ryan told him there was no other way about it with a blizzard coming in. Ryan let her in and he took Ash to the other room so she can have the fire.

It isn't long before Natalia's curiosity got the best of her and she watched the two of them. It however leads to more for all three of them which I loved.

Ash was learning control from Ryan, but they both um all three were enjoying their selves by the end glad for the blizzard.

I just didn't like it as well as some of the other Sam Crescent books I have read, which I have read most. I, personally, did not think this was as well written as many of her others. But then again, I have loved some of her other books which got a low rating from others.

So, I guess, all in all, it just wasn't my cup of tea. Their was a part of their romance toward the end that is icky to me.

SPOILER ALERT!!! I don't have a problem with gay or bisexual people, but I don't enjoy reading about it. Just my preference. I don't find it arousing or romantic in the slightest. Just saying!

When I read the synopsis of this book, I became anxious to read it. While I liked it, I didn't love it. It didn't give me that WOW factor. Maybe my expectations were too high after recently reading so many great Were-books lately. I enjoyed the story line. I liked the chemistry and pull between Kris, Cynthia, and Matt. But I saw so much more potential with this story than what was actually written. This book was good, but I just thought it could have been so much better. All in all I give it a 3.5 star rating.

This book was: quite alright. I didn't know what to expect, but it was good.
The plot was: a bit unusual (in a good way).

The beginning was: intriguing.
The middle was: good, if a bit weird.
The crescendo was: nice.
The finish/ending was: too short.

The characters were: a little disappointing.
The worldbuilding was: great; just how I like it!

Would I recommend this book? Yes/no? Why/why not? Yes and No. That totally depends on the person I'm supposedly recommending in to.

I couldn't get over the feeling of having read the same story thousands of times. Moreover, there wasn't any real character or story development. Nothing is really explained to us and when it comes to the characters I kept on feeling as I had missed tons of pages.

Seriously, it looked like the author had to met a deadline for a 100 pages book and just sent a story she wrote in the beginning of her career (or in HS).

I'm writing this review because I've suddenly got flashes of this book going on in my brain and I couldn't find the book after searching for an hour. This book must have gotten something right or I wouldn't have gone crazy searching for it.

Loved and cringed at the ending plot twist on them open to being bi.

I loved the storyline of this book. It was well written and kept my interest the whole way through. Matt and Kris had an interesting background and I enjoyed that they figured out things about Cynthia and were so sweet to her.
