Guinness World Records™, known until 2000 as The Guinness Book of Records, is a reference book published annually, containing a collection of world records, both human achievements and the extremes of the natural world. The book itself holds a world record, as the best-selling copyrighted book series of all time. It is also one of the most frequently stolen books from public libraries in the United States
I liked the book Guinness World Records 2014 because it gave me a lot of different people and their amazing talents. The thing that I really liked about this book is that it gave me a lot of different details about the people. The reason that I think that was weak was that it sometimes had details that didn't match the event.I wouldn't recommend this to a classmate because it really doesn't give any adventure to it.If you are a person that likes wired wacky stuff and lots of facts this book is for you.I wouldn't read the rest of the series because I would just get bored of reading fact after fact.I also thought this book was kind of challenging because it had a lot of words I don't know what they mean and there is a lot of facts to read about for one person.
The book guinness book of world records 2014 written by guinness world records was really interesting. I really liked the book because it was really fun to read about all the different world records, and it was very informational. Another reason why I liked the book is because it was about all sorts of different things. My favorite part from the book was the world records about the animals because then were very interesting to read about, it was also interesting reading about different types of poison a bug or a plant might have. My favorite quote from the book was just the fun facts that they have on almost every page because it tells you about a bunch of stuff from the page you are reading. A major theme in the book was that the book would have a bunch of facts and world records with a picture of what you are reading about.

This is a book I personally enjoy, not everyone would like this book because their is no plot, but instead many paragraphs that tell what happened. I would recommend this book who likes facts given to them, the author made sure that this book would be interesting not dull.

The most famous and popular world records that have been published by this time are the following. On January 29, 2009 in the United States Nayan Suleman gave birth to 8 children at a single birth.Another interesting record was set by Jeanne Louise Calment, was French woman who lived up to 122 years and 164 days, making her the oldest person alive. Sultan Kosen, a Turkish man, set the world record for being the tallest man alive, with a height of 251 centimeters.
Anyone can submit a world record at anytime and anywhere. There are four easy steps. Apply online at www.guinnessworldrecords.com/set-a-re..., get the guidelines, attempt your record and submit your evidence. I actually tried to submit a record four times. I really like this book because you get to explore different images of the world in one book. It also includes the coolest soccer and videogames records ever that I personally like. I recommend this book to all people that like enjoying different cultures and exploring different happenings in the world.
To start off, the Guinness World Record series (G.W.R) is great and every year it is getting better and better, but 2014 is by far the best in my opinion. The reason G.W.R 2014 is the best because it is very intriguing and makes you want to read more after every page. Another thing that makes this book so interesting is that it is interactive. What I mean by "interactive" is there is a feature in the book where you can download an app and when you hold the camera up showing an image in the book it will be apparent in 3D. In the book they have a wide variety of records appealing to every person. If your're a sportsy type of person then they will have a bunch of world records regarding to sports just for you. In conclusion if you like knowing wonders of the world then this is the book for you.
This was an amazing book. Once again I am amazed that this is for free. It is especially for kids, but also grown ups will love this. There is so much information, so many pictures, interesting facts and bits!! Very cool indeed. Some are pretty scary, with the deadliest animals around, as well as the biggest.. I loved the book throughout. Sometimes there was a massive load of numbers, maybe a bit too much for kids. But all in all a great book that is both entertaining and informative. Very well done. I would love to read more, but sadly the other ones of this series are not for free :P
This was a good book. It had lots of information and told crazy things about the record breakers. It was really interesting and fun to read because you couldn't believe what type of records there will be. It did take a long time to read and in small print (paper back) which made it harder to read. But either way, the book was interesting and I recommend it to anyone who like reading informational and interesting books.
This was a free digital e-book issued by iTunes which I downloaded I would not have bought it otherwise. However I did find it interesting covering the usual largest, most poisonous, fastest, etc animals both extinct and living including brief descriptions with photos and video.
Some of my friends are listed on the "Brain and Memory" new Record page (in the 'Human Body" section) of this G.W.R. 2014, so I would like to give 5/5 for this extra addition this year.
