On July 4, 2017, a worldwide amnesia plunges civilization into the dark ages. Only a few escape the initial effects, but how long can they survive in a barbaric new world?
The survivors:
A man who awakens in the bowels of a secret laboratory with no memory of how he got there and only an enigmatic tattoo to guide him. A Coast Guard sailor searching for a killer who may not be what he seems. A mother of two and recent widow, struggling to protect her family from a world gone mad. A former CEO and full-time scumbag determined to do whatever it takes to thrive in this new apocalyptic wasteland.
Bonus: Also includes Fatherland, the prequel to Primal Shift!

Primal Shift Episode 3 is my favourite episode of this thrilling new series so far.
It affected me physiologically (and totally got my ‘ick’ factor in a few places, which is very hard to do); as I was reading, I found my heart beating faster and my breath becoming more shallow. Hayes really manages to amp up the tension and increase the horror-factor of this delightful little story.
The introduction of a new character is explained by Hayes' short story 'Fatherland', which he is actually offering free in conjunction with this episode; I'd highly recommend reading it first, as the backstory means that the new character will send chills down your spine.
I'm finding it really difficult to read - I NEED to find out what's going to happen next NOW. I CAN'T WAIT.
WOW!! this one was the best one yet from the Primal Shift series.!! I really loved it and cannot wait for the next one!! The end of this book blew my mind and I am anxious to get the next one. This book is an easy read, its fast paced, it will have you at the edge of your seat with anticipation. Its a thrilling story. If your looking to read good books by a great writer I highly recommend you try any of Griffin Hayes books, you are not going to go wrong. I am not easily persuaded, if the book is good then I will read it, and as for GOOD, every book I have read by this author has been OUTSTANDING. So ENJOY your read because I sure did!!!
