Not quite as good as the first two and I’m not understanding why the MC h is fighting her attraction to Ethen and hurting the poor CinnaRoll. It’s fake and unnecessary drama and I don’t like it. I’ll give it one more volume and if it doesn’t pick up, I’m done.

3, the next better impress, stars.

"Even if I fail, I love doing it. And nobody's perfect. It's more than enough that I am having an impact on others and on these streets."

I reallyyyyy hope that the physical volume of volume four releases VERY soon because I so desperately want to know how this series ends!

But rewinding and talking about this volume, I deeply loved it!

The things I wanted to happen after the previous volume did take place, leaving me so happy even if I felt bad for Mary Bell! She has FINALLY noticed that the story is not the same, and therefore, she can make many different choices than she thought she had to make. This of course is leading her to be anxious and frustrated, and I don't blame her! When you've spent such a long time thinking you know exactly how everything unfolds, only to realize that NOTHING is unfolding as you planned, that could leave anyone feeling overwhelmed!

The ending was quite the cliffhanger and I can only desperately hope that Mary Bell will return Ethen's feelings! It's obvious she DOES care for him, but she has buried those feelings for so long, that I don't think she knows what to do. Combine that with her guilt of taking "Aria's man," that's a lot to handle! However, Aria is VERY much in Mary Bell's corner and that "final" conversation leads me to believe that Aria is going to keep pushing Mary Bell into loving her fiancee more so than ever before. Hehe!

I LOVED the "date" that Ethen and Mary Bell had! Also the hunting competition! If there was ever any doubt of how deep Ethen's feelings are, both these moments showed he is deeply in love with her. Plus, as a reader seeing how he feels for Mary Bell, had me wanting to swoon and squeal all at the same time! He is everything Mary Bell wants and I hope that she can see that this story is so different, that why not pursue him and accept his affections?

I really really love how Aria has grown in this volume! I'm also glad May was there to help her see just how much her singing has impacted others. Not only that, I'm glad Lillian shared with Mary Bell the wisdom she did because I believe it really allowed Aria to come to the decision on her own of how she really doesn't want to quit singing. You can definitely see she is very different because how she handled that situation at the end spoke a lot about her growth. I loved it!!

I am truly bummed that I don't have volume four on hand and that I don't have an e-reader so I could at least read volume four digitally! If I did, I would start reading the next volume ASAP as I have deeply loved this series and am very glad I gave it a chance!

I'm eagerly looking forward to seeing how this story unfolds and have very high expectations that it will end strong and wonderfully as this volume did (even if I was like "UGH!" to the cliffhanger LOL)!
