Regan Cooper's entire existence is focused on living vicariously through the characters she creates as a best-selling erotic romance author. She lives alone and unseen in a cabin high in the mountains, interacting with the world purely through cyberspace. Then one night as she celebrates another best-seller with a bottle of wine, alone as usual, her life is turned upside down in an instant when she finds herself restrained, blindfolded, and kidnapped by someone she can only assume to be an obsessed fan.
The man calls himself Master Jay, and he knows everything about the terrified woman he holds prisoner. He promises Regan that no harm will come to her, and informs her that he is going to introduce her to the fantasies that she has written about in her books. Bound, stripped bare, and blindfolded, she has no choice but to submit to his desires, but as time passes she is shocked to find that her will to flee is being replaced by a powerful need to be his. Naked and vulnerable, yet aroused in a way she could never have imagined, she waits with a mix of wonder and trepidation for all of the pleasure and pain and shame and excitement that her new master intends for her to experience.
When he offers her the opportunity for a real adventure that she can call her own—one not experienced by any of her characters—she must decide whether she has learned to trust him, and herself, enough to indulge. Will Regan take a bold plunge into the unknown, or will she forever be the outsider looking in, afraid to see life outside of her vivid imagination.

I’m a native Californian gone 'wild', and had the opportunity to travel the globe and discover the world through the eyes of both a Marine Intelligence specialist and a BDSM lifestyler. I left the service to go into pediatric hospice nursing and grief counseling, eventually working as a marriage and family therapist for those involved in alternative lifestyle development. This experience has allowed me to gain unique inspiration for my books and provide realistic plots and relatable characters.
My first book, The Game Plan, was published in 2012 and opened the door to the now-booming world of Age-Play literature. Since that time, I’ve devoted my ‘spare’ time to writing, researching, community involvement, and private and group pro bono counseling in deviant behavior, alternative lifestyle, and addiction recovery.
I was formally ‘dungeon trained’ as a Domme before discovering my submissive side when I joined the service. My scenarios are pulled primarily from either personal experience or observation, including spending time in clubs as the safety/medical officer. My multi-faceted background allows me to glean from many avenues and provides a unique and intelligent literary experience through elements of fantasy and fiction. I also address the questions and psychology of the lifestyle in a manner that is fun and informative, and based on 'the real deal'.
I live with my husband, musician, and fellow-author, John Hayse, and two border collies in southern California. We practice a 24/7 D&S relationship with speckles of AP (and many trips to Build-A-Bear), and happily spend every moment together that we can. My hobbies include my puppies, hiding my vanilla salt-water taffy where John can't find it, exotic art, collecting inspirational trinkets, and developing my own paddle line. You can also see me as a featured author/instructor in professional conference settings and as a Sexpert for kinkyliterature.com.
Passage from the book. Male character calls himself Master Jay. Female character, Regan, writes erotica.
“Regan,” Jay said patiently, leaning back, “have you ever felt something so deep in your heart that you could not let it go? Something you knew that you would never feel complete until you had it with you?”
Thinking about her feelings, Regan just nodded.
Jay continued, “The first time my eyes fell on the words you had written and the passion that drove them, I knew you were unique.”
Also love this longer passage.
All my life, she began, I was the little girl on the playground who sat alone on the swing and watched. I didn't move, afraid to explore the area around me like the normal children, afraid to get too close to that fence that protected the others from the oncoming traffic, afraid to peek over that same fence and see what was on the other side. No. I sat, not swinging, just watching as the other children lived normal lives and faced normal consequences.
The night that Master Jay took me, he forced me to go past that fence and kept me safe as I saw the world for the first time. Through the eyes of blindness, I discovered a world in which people lived, loved, and enjoyed. He showed me that I had a choice: do I stay forever chained to the swing set by my fear, or do I take the risk and explore the world beyond?
Am I willing to face the consequences of climbing over that fence? ... Because of Master Jay, I have learned the joy of living and am no longer quite as frightened when it comes to life. I know that when he comes to me again, I will embrace the unknown fearlessly and with pride.
Master Jay fell in love with her words before he even met her.
Beautiful story. Despite the kidnapping, it isn't fear based with Stockholm's Syndrome, it's more like a fantasy kidnapping, only Regan didn't know to ask to be kidnapped. Basically Master Jay acts out the fantasies she's penned in the erotic books she writes. The non-con aspect fades really fast.
As for who Master Jay is, I apparently fell for the classic red herring.
I'm not sure how I stumbled upon this little gem but regardless I'm glad I did. Regan a writer of bdsm books is a recluse, and she lives through her books. Master Jay kidnaps Regan and promises not to hurt her and that he wants her to experience what she writes. I liked Regan's journey and I really couldn't wait to find out who Master Jay was and how he knew her. I also will admit, I was leaning in the wrong direction on that one. If you're not into BDSM or capture fantasy this isn't the book for you. I liked the fact it was Romance and BDSM and was rooting for the HEA. The only thing I didn't care for is the pony play which has a pretty big part in the book, it's just not my thing.
I was confused what hole are we doing? Fu*k! If you can't say cunt, pussy or vagina please do not say womanhood, its a pussy, cunt, a hole not dampness. What the hell are globes? Is that an ass, then say ass, bottom or anal passage, anus, what the hell were some of these terms...lol. I read so much and coming across this book was confusing. If you want to write about BDSM, Pony Play which she got down right. Then you either commit to it and write it not just half way. Please do not use globes, etc. in your next books. Your a good writer but like I said I was confused with the sex scenes it took away from your book.
She writes romance but she has never really lived. Regan isn't happy but she doesn't expect to be taken from the woods by her home. She is introduced to a whole new world. She is transformed but is it for real or because she is forced. I love how Jay stepped away and let her make up her own mind about her step into a kinky world and a relationship. Very riveting story.
A nice little piece of erotica. The main focus here is the love story between the two main characters, but it's done with a bit of a BDSM theme. There's not a lot of strong sex here, but enough to keep things interesting. The story is more about trust and acceptance of who you are than anything else. Still, some hot scenes and good depth.
Blindfold was and will be one of those books that rock me to the core. Fear takes prisoners and the waste away or hide -shut away forever. This book grabbed my soul and showed me -me how extraordinary
Pony and pet play is not my thing. But this book takes you past the kink and into the mind and how beautiful Regan becomes she frees herself. I love this book!
