Rate this book
Näin kaikki alkoi! Helppolukuinen, kuvitettu nuortenromaani kertoo Kostajien syntytarinan.

This is the origin story of the Avengers as told in the form of a young child's story. It has been simplified to short scenes with a single picture and brief description. There isn't any dialogue.

The story would make a good bedtime story to read to a young toddler. (Start that next generation of geeks early, not that they really need help.) It would also be good as a beginning reader for a child that is interested in superheroes.

Uma amiga me deu de presente

É bem curtinho. É um estilo de quadrinho diferente, parece historia pra crianca, mais simples, sem baloes de fala.

Considering I have been reading the Avengers from the beginning [1960s] I feel somewhat qualified to judge this. I know this was written on a child's level but in some ways it just misses the mark, not horribly, but enough to not get higher than a 3. Much had to be left out for brevity's sake but that damaged the quality. Certainly fine for its target audience but they will have to be brought up to speed at some point.

I was hoping that it would be like the movie but it wasn’t.

In this, the avengers started out with Iron Man, Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye. Then came Thor, and all five of them found Captain America.

He joined them, and all six are now known as The Avengers.

An excellent introduction to the Avengers origin suitable for early readers. The story is updated for modern readers.

There's no dialog to speak of, and the characters are fairly one-dimensional, but the dynamics of the story are correct.

I thought it was a good introduction to the Avengers for kids who are too little to watch the live-action film or read the comics. A bit of a step up from "Super Hero Squad."

Pretty pretty book

This is a good, basic origins book designed for young readers. But the artwork is lovely! Something you kind of take onboard is that these are done stories, with done character designs. This time, the art is done with care, good proportions and gentle color palettes. Very nice.

Comics aren't really my thing, but I wanted to see a more 'traditional' interpretation of the beginning of the Avengers team.

Read this to my 5 year old son and he really liked it. I thought it was alright, but I wasn't expecting much.

Good story

Perfect bedtime length, easy to read. My kids loved the pictures and the double click feature is great. Hope to read more of these
