A group of writers united by a pub in Chichester and a fascination with the written word have compiled an anthology based on the theme of being reclaimed by nature. In this anthology we see this theme explored through various stories involving waterfalls, time and friendship, strange goings on in farms and forests, humans going feral, office relationships, variations on the apocalypse and how to cultivate some asparagus.

And there are some poems as well if you fancy something different from prose.

If you weren't already in awe of Nature, you certainly will be after reading this compelling collection of short stories and poetry. Nature is presented in several different guises; in some cases, as a protagonist, in others as an antagonist to be fearful of. Mountain gods, mutinous beasts, conscious forests, and a shrinking universe. It's all here, and more. A feast for the imagination: delighting and horrifying, unexpected and intriguing.
