The King of Clubs thinks he can break me...
Not if I break him first.

I took a gamble and accidentally made a deal with a demon—an incubus—whatever that is.
Now the King of Clubs is holding me prisoner, which is ironic since his name is Ransom.

But he doesn't want money.
He wants my submission.
Good luck with that.

The King of Clubs rules over The Rabbit Hole, his casino and exotic club. After being properly trained, his ‘bunnies’ ensure that every sinful pleasure is readily available to his guests and ripe for the picking. Ransom does love fruit…
Ask me how I know.

My king has strict rules for me, his newest bunny, and they’re as humiliating as they are enticing. Leashed and collared, I’m praised when I obey him, and punished when I don’t. His unique style of training has awakened desires within me that I never knew existed. With every touch, I’m drawn deeper into a world of temptation and surrender.

Ransom says he’s teaching me things like discipline, patience, and resilience. He claims that his twisted games and brutal challenges will make me a better fighter against the Red Queen’s Jabberwocky. He tells me this is all for my own good…although I’m starting to wonder if it’s being done for his own pleasure.

But Ransom’s not the only one with skills.
This bratty little bunny has tricks of her own.
I’m not going down without a fight.

While the chemistry between us is undeniable, I can't ignore the secrets that lie beneath Ransom's seductive façade. The more time I spend with my king, the more I realize it doesn’t matter how hard I fight—

When it comes to gambling, the house always wins.

I think I’ve gone mad, I should not be enjoying this series as much as I do 😂 Is there such thing as so bad it’s good?! Because, there should be no reason I’m so in love with the Wicked Boys, but here I am, obsessed with ALL OF THEM 🥵

This book had even less plot than book one, but I was HERE FOR IT 😂 The Hatter & Chess are still my favorite, but Ransom 🥵🥵🥵 The way he came RUNNING when Alice needed him. Yes, please 🙌

Unexpected

Very unexpected character and decent character development in this spicy, smutty, second installation of this twisted reimagining of Alice in Wonderland.

Sex club & all the smut your little dark heart desires. 🥵 & When it wasn't a sexy scene, there was brutality & gore. 🤣

Yes, there was hot sex & some humiliation Alice endured but that did make her stronger. She's learning about herself & what she can accomplish.
They thought they were owning her but she was owning them. She had them wrapped around her fingers.

"Sexual energy is the most powerful magic there is." - Ransom 🤣🤣

*This was my first insect peen 🫣 Kinda gross, LMAO!

**There was one part that was horrible. Ransom killed them brutally.
But then there was a super spicy scene & made you forget what happened. 😆

I'm giving this one a 2.5, but currently rounding down. I might change my mind in the future, but I didn't enjoy this one as much because of a few things that are triggery and/or not my kink.

I'm not into the dom thing, at least not the way this is presented. I really didn't like it at the start, when it was all kinds of non-consenual. Like, Alice didn't willingly enter into a sub role - she was kidnapped by a "friend" and was held captive. This is not sexy.

I also really don't get the whole "I need to break her spirit" b.s. Like, how is breaking her spirit going to help her get the confidence she needs in order to defeat the Jaberwocky and Red Queen? I mean, there's reference to the "break her down so I can build her back up", but where's the building up? I mean, she gets thrown into a couple of gladiator-type combats with the other "bunnies" in the sex club, and trains a little in the meantime - doing laps and lifting weights - but, like, that's it?

Of course, Alice being Alice in this book, it turns out she enjoys being the sub and the kinky sex, because that's what this book is... and I would've been ok with it, even if it's not my kink, if she'd entered into it willingly.

And then we have to throw in the sexual assault. I mean,

***

All that said, I still didn't hate it, even though I had a lot of issues with it. I actually kind of came to like Ransom and even Callister, despite the totally fucked up beginning of this book, and the actual plot parts of the book and their attempts to take down the Red Queen were actually still good and interesting, even if the bit where Alice was

Just like the first book, I'm adding one whole star because she's not a teenager 😉

You know how you have to suspend belief to really enjoy fiction? I can suspend belief enough to think a 26-year-old woman has been pulled into Wonderland. What I can't suspend belief about is how she hasn't gotten about 15 infections from the amount of smut that has happened. 😂 Good lord. There must be some healing magic going on.

And, I'll just put this in the spoilers ...

♣️ King of Clubs by Jekka Wilde ♣️

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ || 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️

“Going in circles is more effective than going nowhere,” the Mad Hatter rationalized, wagging an accusatory finger at me. “Although, the joy lies not in the destination, but in the maddening journey itself. All we can do is twist and twirl and dance to the chaos. That, my dear Cheshire Cat, is the essence of life’s wicked game. Going nowhere—stagnation—is the true curse that stifles the soul.”

👀😮‍💨🥵 LAAAAWD. King of Clubs was PERFECTION 🤌🏻 I loved this one so much!

Book 2 picks up where Book 1 left off - with Alice now in the hands of the King of Clubs.. but what she doesn’t know is that he doesn’t want her as a prisoner, he wants her submission.. to teach her a lesson about obedience and patience.. and BOOOOY is it one?! 😮‍💨🤌🏻🥵 Ransom’s mouthhhhh LAWD.. and the whimsy whirls!? 👀 IYKYK!

I liked Alice’s growth in this one as she came into her own and learned a little bit about patience & submission (on multiple levels), but overall i loved the development in the actual plot. Things are heating up with the Queen of Hearts on a rampage trying to find Alice & destroy her before she can be destroyed… and the ENDING?! I’m so thankful I don’t have to wait after that cliffhanger & can just dive right into Book 3!!

Book Two did NOT disappoint

So Book 2 picked up right where the first left off. We find Alice no in the Hands of the King of Spades, at his casino/club, The Rabbit Hole. Alice is now collared and leashed and meant to obey everything the King asks of her, whether she wants to or not. At first I was skeptical and not sure what this had to do with taking down the Red Queen and assumed it was just thrown in for the smut. But as I kept reading, things started to fall into place and we learned more about the Red Queen and King of Spades background. I read this book in a day also and having a hard time even putting this series down. It leaves us meeting the White Knight, as Alice and her wicked boys jumped through the Looking Glass into the Kingdom of Diamonds and Ice. Can't wait to start Book 3

I just finished book 2, and I have to say that I enjoyed it much more than I liked book 1. The writing seemed much better, and it felt like there was more of a plot and intention with the story. It felt more solid.

I think since there was more of a focus on one person with Alice, there was more time to establish a connection, and I definitely felt it. I liked that it felt there was something more between her and the King, more so than with the two in the previous book. Not only did I feel there was a connection, but they eventually behaved like there was, as well.

So far, having read 2 of the books, it feels like things are just getting dragged out a bit. I have a feeling that this will be true throughout the whole series. The books are entertaining, though, so I will probably end up reading all 4 of them.

This one is a lot different than the first one.
She's separated from Ches and Hatter. Taken to the King of Clubs for safety. The King of Clubs is under the impression that she's just a bratty socialite from what Callister has told him.
So his idea of training her is breaking her down and that turns into a Dom & bratty Sub situation.
There's a part where his other subs try to taint her so he won't want her.
He saves her but it's still bad, and then they hook up right after and he kind of realizes his feelings. That was the only part I didn't like.
No one's gna want to hook up right after something like that happens but I think it's supposed to be him erasing it with his own essence.
I'm still totally invested. This storyline is so entertaining and there's good banter. So one little scene didn't put me off completely.

Sooooo… this was great? I’m actually surprised that I liked this one so much since I wasn’t the biggest fan of book one. I’m very glad that I decided to continue the series instead of giving up on it like I almost did. There was still a lot of smex in this one. Maybe more so than book one. I thought that was my main problem with the first book but now I’m thinking it was just the insta love vibes that I got from it. This one was darker and had a little bit of an enemies to lovers type thing with Ransom and I loved that; and him! I loved Ransom so so much. He’s definitely my favorite now. The $m0t in this one was so 🥵. The plot also developed a bit more in this one which I loved. This whole book was amazing.

Wow the madness continues!! To the sex craving devil daddy and his new bunny toy!! This was definitely a wild ride of a book! As if things couldn’t get any crazier in wonderland you are taken for another round of what the heck bunny games lol. It was a super spicy very detailed book! From the images described of the decaying and twisted dyeing wonderland to the perfectly written sounds giving you a clear image of exactly what’s unfolding right before you was chefs kiss. Never will I look at the word “squelched” the same. Another fluffy but to me it’s totally worth it!!!

This is the second book in the series of this wonderful Wonderland retelling. Once again, the imagery was spot on this author Jekka has a way with words that not only can you hear it and see it so vividly, but it was so easy to imagine all of the descriptions in this book. From the descriptions of the scenes to the sounds, and the way people looked absolutely amazing. I did not like Ransom, most of the book, he made me very upset as well as Callister. Also, love the little reprieves of the bunny bondage such creativity And ma’am, you cannot leave us on another cliffhanger!!!! Cannot wait for the next book to come out in December!

EXCUSE ME?!?! This one was ALOT! I did not like Ransom until the very end and even then he’s like a 7.5/10. I understand what he’s trying to do.. but it sounds a lot like this is all his fault and he’s taking it out on Alice.. just my take.. However, the book is WONDERFUL!! Another quick read for me because I literally could not stop!! Again with the imagery!! Jekka is in my top 10 of best descriptive authors! I could feel the textures and hear the sounds she was describing; even the not so pleasant ones. I cannot wait for book 3!!

This was so good! The ups and downs of the growing relationships have me losing it. But when the enemies become lovers, oh boy. The growing storyline is really good. I'm loving the shorter books and giving the characters plenty of time to fall for each other. But it also feels like a lot of insta-lust. I'm just loving the whole thing. I can't wait to see what happens next. If you love spicy Alice in Wonderland retellings, then you'll love this!

I didn't really like the beginning with dubious consent and sex as a punishment but things changed quickly. Alice made some more personal growth in this one but she still needs more training to beat the Queen. This book was filled with as much spice and filth as the first, maybe more since it takes place inside a pleasure club. There's a short scene of sa later in the book so beware if that's a trigger for you.

I don't wanna wait!

This series is interesting, sexy and titillating. It's got action, suspense, magic, sex and even gore. You will see the Rabbit Hole in ways you never imagined. I'm disappointed the Red Queen still stands, but I knew she would. Now, I just have to wait for the third installment to see her finally get what's coming to her. I know it will be worth the wait!

Amazing

I love The Wicked Boys of Wonderland. I've been in a reading slump and this totally did the trick. I can't wait to continue to Book 3. I love the spice and everything that comes with Ransom and The Rabbit Hole. So wicked. Can't wait to see more about Jack in Jack of Diamonds.

3.5 🌟 I understand that this is a fictitious retelling of the classic Alice in Wonderland, but the idea of being trapped in a BDSM club with an incubus to learn preservence and the ability to defeat the Red Queen was way to far fetched for me. The smut was fantastic, though. 👏 I will read the next book because the storyline is interesting.

I love how this book picked right up where the first one left. I know sometimes books “skip” a part or start somewhere else. The way the first one moved right into this one was perfect. If you’re looking for a little more “smut” this one had wayyyyyy more in it than the first one. I will say there’s more drama as well.

Pure lusty excitement

This is such a fun and steamy series. This is such a fun twist on Through the Looking Glass. I absolutely love these characters. For a spoiled rich girl, Alice is kind of a bad-a$$. And oh my goodness…those demons. I am obsessed with Chess and Ransom. I can’t wait to get into the next book and really meet Jack.

you're telling me they took sex craved Alice to the Rabbit Hole, the queen found out she was and she didnt suspect Alice was Ransoms "newest bunny"?! Also, it was very obvious Alice was going to snatch the ring with her 🐱snatch🐱.
Callisters squishy pufferfish insect d🍆ck makes me confused, but okay.
Some parts of these books are incredibly predictable in an avoidable way. Will I read all of them? yes. Will I roll my eyes sometimes? also yes.

Woah. I thought the first book was pure filth; this one exceeded my expectations. I have to confess something, I am not a fan of Alice in Wonderland and because of that, I have been putting this series off. I wish I wasn’t so stupid. Plot and Filth? YES PLEASE! I don’t know what I am going to do I have one more book and then I have to wait for the fourth one to come out.

If you enjoyed Ace of Spaces, you’ll like this. It’s just as whimsical and wild as the first one with double the spice. There are a few grammatical/clerical errors, but otherwise I love how it is written.
