This book written a lot better than Meeting My Master was. I think that Steffie was able to find her writing groove with this book; you could tell that just by reading it.
As we follow Ella and her Master on the second day of their relationship, it ends up helping her in many ways. Being a “new” submissive, Ella is having problems understanding the emotions that she is feeling. She is unsure if they are natural, or if there is something wrong with her. Her Master, knowing what to do best, has her meet with another submissive, so that she will have someone else to talk to.
By adding that part into this book, it makes the book have a more “real” aspect to it. Honestly I am completely glad that she didn’t just fall into the submissive role right away. In real life it doesn’t happen that way and it was great of Steffie to add that view.
Master is still being secretive with his life, and that is good to a degree but it’s also annoying as well. His character hasn’t developed that much in this book, which leaves you wanting more. You want to find out what his secrets are, and what has happened to him in the past.
With the way this book ended, I can’t wait to read more into the serial!

Day Two: The day after Master has collared Ella. They sexual encounters are more erotic, more explosive. Up until now we have only had two characters. Master has taken Ella out to lunch, a little fun (Oh Master…you are naughty!) and to meet a friend. One gets a sense this is Ella’s first encounter with another sub and a special one at that since she knows Master. As I get further into the story, I find myself dying to find out more details about Master. Maybe, hopefully the next book?
There's no turning back now that I my hooked. While each title can read be as a stand-all, the overall impact of the story is lost if they are not read as a series. Each book is one day spent with her Master and told from Ella's first person perspective. First two days have been interesting. Can't wait for the next book!

This is an excellent follow up to Meeting My Master. We follow Ella and her Master into day two of their week. You get to see more of the ups and downs that are involved with being part of a M/s relationship. Getting an inside view of how submission impacts Ella and how she struggles with herself. Dawn does a good job at navigating the continued complexities of their relationship.
While I normally don’t enjoy shorts of this nature (simply because I am a greedy book whore and always want MORE) this one has potential to be great so I will suffer through the wait for the next one. I hope that you will pick up book one and suffer right along with me; Ella’s story is one that anyone who enjoys reading BDSM/erotica will thoroughly enjoy.

This book was nothing at all like I thought it would be. It was sooooo much more. I was expecting this kink filled story where love would eventually bloom. What I was not expecting was this beautiful love story. Yes, there was some kink, but that is not what this enchanting story is about.
If you are looking for hardcore BDSM literature, this one is not for you. If you are looking for a romantically sweet story with some BDSM kink and characters that are easy to relate to, this is probably just what you are looking for. Be warned, once you start reading you will not want to put it down until you have read it from cover to cover and you may want to read a few scenes twice ;) .This is most certainly an 18 plus read and probably one you will not want to lend your mom.

First of all I would like to that the author for providing me a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
I struggled with this book and I’m kind of surprised because the other reviewers all loved it. I think the thing I struggled with the most was that I couldn’t expand my mind enough to understand why Ella stayed and what made her do the things she did.
Technically the book was well written but I just couldn’t connect with Ella. Which appears from other reviews that the issue is with this not being my type of book rather than the book itself.
n.b I have used the same review for all 4 books that I've read in the series as they all made me feel the same.

As a newly collared sub, things are starting to get hotter. The scenes are more intense. Now I'm starting to feel that spark that was lacking in the first book. During one scene, they both became so connected with each other. I can't tell you which one, I don't want to spoil it for you. In this installment, she gets to meet one of her Masters friends, who is also a submissive. She gets some of her questions answered, but her Master still remains a mystery. She assures her with patience more will be revealed. With each book, they make me want to read further into the series to see how it ends after they reach their 7th day.

I must say that this second book in the series was well worth waiting for.
Things are becoming much more challenging for Ella as Master begins to test her limits.
I get the distinct impression that there are a few surprises to come in this amazingly well written series.
I understand that this genre of writing will not appeal to all, but for those of us who love erotic romance and BDSM stories...this is a MUST READ.
Looking forward to the third book.

Ella continues to learn and play her role as a submissive to her dominant. She learns that he has been hurt and doesn’t trust easily from a friend of his whose name is Crina. Who Crina is and what past she shares with Ella’s dominant isn’t known yet; although her and Ella share a brief moment. At times it was a little slow due to some parts repeating itself but I will keep reading because I want to know what will happen when their time together comes to an end.

I was given a copy for an honest review.
This second book about their 2nd day together was written with much more sensual feeling. I could feel more love from Master and Ella seems to be finding more comfort in him. A little confused about the garden scene with the other sub, maybe in the next days we will learn more.

On the edge of my sit. I look into on line relationship and BDMS. Ella travels a great distance to live being a submissive on a day to day basis. Every day since she has landed a been an eye opening experience. Original & on the edge read.

Chopping at the bit for this one. If you liked the first book you will love the second even more. Steffie is maturing as a writer and it shows in this book. I will be staying awake to read the next books. Again - if you like BDSM books this one is for you. Enjoy it!
