A Prática da Astrologia - Como Técnica de Compreensão Humana

Rate this book

I know this is the main man in astrology but boy is this book dense and difficult to read. I would say I’m at least an intermediate student of astrology with a working knowledge of signs, planets, houses, aspects, etc. but I had such a hard time dissecting some of the concepts in this book. Delivery could have been done in a MUCH more simple and direct way. He uses lots of jargon and needlessly complicated sentences to explain key ideas. It’s easy to get lost in the sauce with this one. I plan to read some of his other work, hopefully his delivery improves.

Rudyhar gives a wonderful overview to the practice of astrology, and it's components.

"The future of astrology does not rest, I believe, with its becoming some sort of statistically validated science; it depends rather on its capacity to balance and complement scientific, technological thinking by upholding a holistic search for ever more universalistic patterns of order revealing an ever deeper and inclusive realization of the meaning and rhythm of existence in an ever-widening world of human experience."
