I love the show and play the game daily. So when I saw this was free on Kindle, I felt obliged to download and cruise through it. The concept art is so cool, and the character bios are a lot of fun. I loved that it was interactive and full color. I had no trouble downloading it, like some people did. It's also nice to learn about the alien races this world features. I'm just a Defiance junkie, I suppose. :)

In honor of Defiance 2050

I just read this because Defiance 2050 is coming soon and was curious about the previous universe.

You get to see many photos and concept arts from the show and the game, it mainly catters to those curious about the show but it also briefly explains some of the game mechanics.

A freebie on Kindle, a visual guide to a TV series and game combo. The series has been cancelled as I understand it, which is a shame when so much creative effort goes into its creation as opposed to yet another contemporary drama. I often find the behind-the-scenes work far more interesting than the finished product.

Defiance is a tv series and a multiplayer online game. I myself don't play the game. The series was a favourite though. A really slick professional effort. The artwork is an industry standard.

I was reminded of this ebook while rewatching Defiance this summer. Too bad the show was cancelled, but kudos for putting out a guide to the world created in the show. It would have been great to include more of the language related aspects as part of this.

Defiance:The Essential Guide is a moderately informative guide about the latest MMORPG and SyFy's TV series and Defiance which introduce the reader to the characters and the world of Defiance. As its been several weeks since the premiere of the TV series, I'm still getting used to the characters, the world building so the guide does help in a way. Other than what you can get from the SyFy sites like the character guides, the content have a lot of luscious landscape graphics and some interesting concept art from the series. Other than that, the show is still too new so this copy isn't much of a spoiler. If you enjoy the beautiful ethereal graphics from the show and want to see more of it, you could get this copy for free on your tablets.

I found this as a free download on Amazon, it's a quick & easy read guide for both the tv series and the game and is pretty handy if you need to quickly catch up on the major points and characters.
