About the author

Damon Suede grew up out-n-proud deep in the anus of right-wing America, and escaped as soon as it was legal. He has lived all over and along the way, he’s earned his crust as a model, a messenger, a promoter, a programmer, a sculptor, a singer, a stripper, a bookkeeper, a bartender, a techie, a teacher, a director... but writing has ever been his bread and butter. He has been happily partnered for over a decade with the most loving, handsome, shrewd, hilarious, noble man to walk this planet.

Beyond romance fiction, Damon is an award-winning author who has been writing for print, stage, and screen for over three decades, which is both more and less glamorous than you might imagine. He's won some awards, but he counts his blessings more often: his amazing friends, his demented family, his beautiful husband, his loyal fans, and his silly, stern, seductive Muse who keeps whispering in his ear, year after year.

Damon would love to hear from you... you can get in touch with him here.

Message from Damon Suede:

Hey gang,

Just saw this. :)

I'm psyched that y'all are psyched, but Hard Head is still a ways off. I'm not sure WHO added this entry for Hard Head on Goodreads, but I don't have a fixed date for it. I learned my lesson last year about the danger of putting a gun at my head on something that matters that much to me. 8|

Hard Head is coming, as soon as I can get y head into the right space to edit it and polish it, but I didn't want y'all to think I'd announced a date!

XXXX

A thrill of anticipation...cannot wait to read this book!!!

That's me doing the happy dance!

This is gonna turn into one of those books that I know will never materialise but yet I will still yearn for ... *sigh*

As soon as I finished Hot Head, I knew I either wanted to read about either Tommy or Alek... But I didn't know there was actually going to be another. And dfdkfgkj there is! And it's about Tommy! *grins so hard that my cheeks hurt*

AND ONCE AGAIN I FIND MYSELF WAITING FOR A SEQUEL. WAITING FOR THE 9TH BOOK OF CUT AND RUN IS HARD ENOUGH. NOW THIS?? WHY DOES IT KEEP HAPPENING TO ME?!

Oh, I wants it. Hot Head took me totally by surprise as one of my all-time favourite romances. Dying for this companion novel!

Hard Head: Book Two in the contemporary "Head" series picks up with the story of Tommy Dobsky, the self-destructive paramedic from Hot Head as he navigates the wreckage of his old life and the first glimmers of hope... and honesty. The gang returns as Griff and Dante take the next steps, but the "Hot Hookers" firehouse may be torn apart.

Edit 27/02/25: I have been OBSESSED with part 2 for literally years. I did some digging and it turns out Damon was involved in some controversy a few years back. What this means for this series is unknown but I thought it might be relevant: https://www.reddit.com/r/MM_RomanceBo...

2022: I found this on Damon’s website:
Hard Head: Book Two in the "Head" series featuring Tommy Dobsky, a self-destructive paramedic first encountered in Hot Head... This book's release has been pushed back significantly but I promise it is deep in process!

Let’s hope we see it this year!!
