Excellent book. An emphasis you may not find in most biographies- Washington's Christianity. Well written.
Not a fan of the artwork. It's better than I could do but I just don't care for that particular style. The artist, strangely enough, is not good with perspective when it comes to drawing buildings. It doesn't hurt the book since I did not read it for the pictures.

We have read many of the biographies in the Sower Series and have enjoyed them all. Great biographies for kids that are written in narrative form based on the first hand accounts of each individual man or woman.

Highly recommended biography from the excellent Sower Series. Seeing the hand of God in George Washington's life was amazing. This is the history you never learned growing up in public schools. Well written, engaging, historically accurate, and inspiring! My kids enjoyed it as well.

Read this one with Miles. I love how the author brought in Providence in George Washington's life. I appreciate reading books with my kids about heroes who had a love of God and showed it through out his life!
