Bravo applauding Wahida Clark....I don't even know where to start...1st of all we make Tasha & Trae THE couple, but I have to say Angel & Kaylin are the baddest pair their love, devotion, calmness, & domineer WOW don't sleep on them. Angel has her mans back 100% + and will not allow nothing or no one to come between them. Kaylin so loves his wife and devoted to his family and will do anything for them, but don't get it twisted if you try to screw him over he will handle is business in a very calm & collected form. I LOVE THEM. Tasha & Trae struggles for a new beginning in their relationship but the obstacles never seems to stop; however I can say that through it all their love for each other will get them thru. Faheem & Jaz lol, poor Jaz she is crazy about her man & after he loses his son she will do anything to try to make it right, well she thinks she is doing it !!!!! Kyra was too cute in the book, thru all are let downs she's still smiling. MUST READ!!!!! YOU BETTER RECOGNIZE & HONOR THY THUG!

Angel and Kay were my favorite and have always been my favorite couple from the series. I have so much love for Kaylin , he did his thing and I love the connection between him and Angel. I wish there was more of them in the story and hopefully they will have more story time in part 7. Jaz couldn't win for loose and Kyra a.k.a. O Holy One (lol) was interesting and I m looking forward to find out what happens between her and Rick in the next book. I have to admit that I was a little tired of Tasha and Trae mess, I felt that it was a bit repetitive and it was some of the same drama from Justify my Thug. In the other books I didn't necessarily hate Kyron, but what he did to Tasha made me actually hate him and he got what he deserves. Can't wait for part 7 and Wahida is one of my favorite authors and I had the opportunity to meet her at Essence Fest last year and she was very nice and cool. Keep doing your thing girl and can we have more of Kay and Angel in the next book (lol)....Overall , I loved this book and if you haven't jumped on the thug series you need too..

OKAY!!! so book 6 in the Thug Series by Wahida Clark and the gang has all returned. Trae, Tasha, Kaylin, Angel, Jaz, Faheem, Kyra, Rick, and others….and they’re all getting on my GODDAMNED nerves.

okay so lets start with…

The Good?

the book was good…i can at least say that. Wahida resuscitated this series because the events of this last book was about to send her writing career to an early grave. While this book is definitely not the best out of the series…its the best out of the second half of the series…I’m beginning to think of the 6 books in the series as two separate works. There’s the classics which are the first three books…and then there’s these.— anyway the story was interesting. some new issues were brought in, some thrilling plots put into motion…things got REAL.

The Bad?

She’s basically ruined the characters and what they stood for and represented….i think the big issue with Wahida and the direction these books have taken is, she’s forgotten who her core audience is….i think she’s forgotten who she was writing these books for.

Yes i came for the hood shit, yes i came for the thug loving…but let us not forget that LOVING has played a key role here! where is the love Wahida? what happened to it? i think she needs to remember that the majority of the loyal fans of this series are females, who do not care that Trae and Kay can and will bust their guns, or that they will make all this money or whatever the hell, but that they were good guys and they LOVED the women who held them down! cmon Wahida!

Another thing…alot of the shit in this book was just STUPID. and the main reason it took me damn near a week to really get anywhere with this book…i was so close to just saying fuck it and not reading this book anymore because some of the things that were going on were just NOT plausible, and as a person who GREW UP in the hood around this shit…i have the authority to say that. — i don’t care what hood you grew up in, or what code you follow. no one will EVER be ‘okay’ with their best friend trying to kill their brother! and i don’t care how much you hate your brother. blood is blood. you’re not going to stab my brother in the neck with intentions of killing him and then have drinks and a blunt with me later on that day while we discuss what went down! like that’s just NOT plausible….ugh

The annoying

for whatever reason…Wahida started writing these books in first person narrative…now that would be fine and dandy if the characters weren’t hood as fuck and narrated the story like they were relaying a crazy ass escapade to their homies on the block.

it is also very tactless to plug yourself in your own damn book using your own ratchet ass characters like…i don’t care about your other books and I’m not going to read them. you making your character give you a shoutout and plugging one of your other books is NOT going to make me buy it so please stop…especially considering the other books are anything but spectacular.

anyway…there’s going to be another one…and I’m excited for it, but honestly i hope she wraps this up soon….she’s already decimated the characters and their relationships to a point where I’m indifferent to what happens to them…i would really like to leave this series with just a little bit of love for them….

Thugs, Ladies, Love, Matrimony, Lovin', Justify and Honor...'

Roll Call...Trae, Tasha, Kaylin, Angel, Jaz, Faheem...and a few resurrections as the games begin again despite all the foolery we witnessed as they justified their thugs. Trae and Tasha are trying to re-build their mockery of a marriage, but past associates are still fiending and wanting to destroy this union. Will they be able to withstand their obstacles or will they fold...have they done too much to move forward? Kay and Angel are good but will Trae's act of vengeance destroy the brotherhood...which brother will he choose or will have to? Faheem just suffered a horrible heartbreak when he witnessed the murder of his newly found son, how will he execute payback under police scrutiny...and what about Jaz's request to honor thy thug? Familiar faces once counted out resurface with their own drama among family and friends. Trae and Tasha's theatrics have endangered lives as well as liasions with the mafia, what price and who will pay for all of these trespasses? In this latest game of Russian Roulette, is there such a thing as Honor Thy Thug or is it just a mirage?

Honor Thy Thug is an enjoyable read. Wahida has continued the thug saga and I am left with mixed emotions. The storyline isn't as strong as it's predecessors, it felt stretched, and I think these characters have run their course. Wahida is obviously a very talented writer because her creations irritate some with the sequels and never-ending storylines while charming us with their hellacious scenes. I noted a few editing errors. There were too many subplots left wide open, which guarantees yet another installment, thus my rating of 4****. I challenge Ms. Clark to create new characters and to step outside the box with an entirely different storyline for your diehard fans. We know she owns the crown but I want to see how she truly wears that crown. I have nothing but love for Wahida! You mos def have the talent, let's see you turn it up!!!

From a writer’s standpoint, the first thing that stood out to me about this book is Ms. Clark’s ability to weave together a good story using so many different points of view. However, I only gave Honor Thy Thug four stars (Really 3.5) because although, it was a fast, entertaining read, at times, I felt the story almost progressed TOO fast for me. As a reader, I felt like I was losing out on some of the vital details I was craving.

I can’t say too much without revealing key elements of the story, but I will say that what one would think would be a MAJOR event in a character’s life, was often quickly summarized and never really mentioned again. I just kind of read what happened and kept it moving. So in that sense, I felt like I missed out on that connection with some of the characters and their emotions, especially since the way the book is written, we are given the opportunity to get inside their head and see the story through their eyes. And I say that because these are all likeable, interesting characters you want to get to know and see more of. At least I know I do.

Kyra’s storyline kind of threw me off though. I would definitely like to hear more about what Nina has to say about that whole situation. . . Oh, and shout out to the sex scene with the chocolate strawberries ;)

All in all, I would say it was decent. The ending felt kind of sudden and rushed, and at times a little unrealistic, but it left me anxious to see how things would unfold with the Li family in the next installment. I think it’s important to remember that this book is part of a series so try not to jump to any conclusions while reading. Because just when you think you know . . . you really have no idea. When Wahida picks up that pen, you never know what scandal will be revealed, who will be betrayed, or who will be killed. And clearly this author ain’t done thuggin’ yet!

I was highly disappointed in this book ... There was nothing new and exciting and I felt the storyline was incomplete and rushed. I truly feel I was tricked ... I waited, waited, waited, and waited then finally the book was released and after reading it I think that Wahida Clark should seriously think about ending the series ... enough is a enough! I have come to love the Thug crew but if this is the quality of work that will be printed, this will be the last book I purchase and read!

This installment was an okay listen. The 3 stars is because Cary Hite is an outstanding narrator.

My review is by couple and/or storyline.

I'll start with the most exhausting first
Trae/Tasha-It's book 6 or 7 and I'm still waiting for Tasha's redeemable qualities to emerge. There has been no character growth. She started out in book 2 materialistic, shallow, narcissistic, and lacking any amount of accountability for her actions and is still stuck in the same place. She brought her cousin into a situation. he lost his life. she brought drama to her husband, but acted as the victim. And she was ready to leave him when her actions helped put him lockdown. Trae and Tasha had an unhealthy way of dealing with each other. A far cry from the bond (albeit a shallow Tasha centered one) that was formed in book 2. How are these 2 going to be redeemed as a couple? How is Tasha going to be a likable character? Does she need to be? Probably not, but i would love to see some growth in this character. You so e asily forget she's supposed to be an educated woman with 2 healthcare specialties under her belt. When is Trae going to put his family first and not his need to be in the streets? The streets are his first love even though he comes from a family who has money and he too is an educated black man. Tasha is the kind of character that needs to hit rock bottom or be killed off. sorry

Angel/kaylin-not a lot of action in this book, but still the most likable and functional. the action that did occur was thrilling and remained in character for the two. they are a good example of a positive working unit functioning for the good of their personal and professional success. i hope they are not ruined with unnecessary drama in the next installment

Jas/Faheem- I felt like Jas was infused with a bit of Tasha's irrational emotional tendencies. Faheem is a boss laid up or not. The Oni/Steele storyline was handled nicely and true to character for this couple

Kyra/Rick/Nina-Kyra while front and center in this book is one storyline that you just couldn't seem to care about and haven't since book 1. her "love affair" with rick seemed forced. they had a few weeks of dalliances and that produced a major love affair? it didn't ring true. not true enough for the drama that ensued between the 3. Nina handled her business. But what was the outcome of this triad. it's not in the golden hustle. So what happened?

Others
Kyron was a perfect "villian". The character was portrayed well. he was obsessed with something that he couldn't have and THAT rings true. his character was handled appropriately.
Charlie Lee-villian #2-while annoying was the female version of Kryon and handled appropriately.

There are some random thoughts that came up at the end of the book. I'm hoping the next installment takes us back to the fire and vivid intensity of books 1, 2 & 3.

In a gripping tale of vengeance and betrayal, Faheem's world shatters when his son is brutally murdered, igniting a fierce quest for retribution led by Jaz. Yet, unbeknownst to her, Faheem is the one orchestrating the chaos from the shadows.

Meanwhile, Kyron's dark desires come to light when he drugs and assaults Tasha, and it's shocking to see her sister blindly aid him in his sinister plot. Believing that his brother Kaylin has chosen Trae and Tasha over him, Kyron's desperation drives him to a chilling act of kidnapping, burying Kaylin and his wife, Angel, alive. Just when hope seems lost, Lil E emerges as an unexpected hero, determined to save the day.

In a whirlwind of violence, Kaylin confronts Kyron, culminating in a deadly showdown where Kaylin ultimately triumphs. However, the aftermath leaves Kendrick shattered, convinced that Trae is responsible for Kyron's death, unaware that Trae is locked away in jail. In a fit of rage, Kendrick commits an unspeakable act, burning Tasha’s sister, Trina, alive.

Compounding these tragic events, Tasha discovers she is pregnant, while Kyra spirals into madness over her own pregnancy and the turmoil surrounding Rick. The layers of these intertwined lives reveal a story thick with emotion, chaos, and the relentless pursuit of justice.

I won this book in the first reads giveaway. Thanks so much to the author and those involved in the giveaway.

I admit I stalked the mailbox, and Monday, I just knew it was there. I ran to the mailbox, grabbed my package, and ran into my room and didn't come out until morning, all because I just had to start reading this book!

A little disclaimer: If you haven’t read all of the books in the series, do not start with Honor Thy Thug. Start with book 1, Thugs and the Women Who Love Them. You have to start from the beginning to truly appreciate the dynamics of these relationships and the evolution of the characters. In other words, you won’t fully understand what’s going on. Also, I recognize that this series and genre will not be enjoyed or liked by everyone.

For a quick run down, Wahida brought back the crew for Honor Thy Thug. The book starts off with a recap from the last book, Justify My Thug. The couple I love to hate, Tasha and Trae, are back at it, trying to rebuild their marriage. However, Charli and Kyron aren’t far behind. Jaz and Faheem are reeling with the death of Faheem’s son and its aftermath. Kyra is back and trying to find her damn mind. Kaylin and Angel are still together and are determined to stay that way.

I enjoyed every page, although I am a bit confused by a few things. Will there be a book 7? What will happen with Kyra and Rick? Will they be featured in a new book? I was confused by Kyra's behavior. I know she was going through her mental issues, but to act as if Marvin never existed and chase after Rick as hard as she did left me thinking she did need to be put away. And yes, I miss Marvin.

I know many people like Tasha and Trae, but those two annoy me. Perhaps Charli and Kyron should have met and hooked up. That would've been interesting. Charli was too thirsty in this book, and I do wonder what will happen with her. Will she finally go away?

I loved Angel and Kaylin in this book. They truly love each other, and Kaylin is a real friend/family to Trae and Tasha.

One thing I had to adjust to is the different format. Since the book is written in first person, we read about the feelings of Mari, Charli, and Nina. I didn't care too much about their feelings, but they added an interesting aspect to the story.

All in all, I enjoyed the book.

Another successful book by Wahida Clark for the shelves all around the world. I am so in love with the Thug series, and I've been down since the beginning. Trae and Tasha are one of my most favorite couples that I enjoy reading about. I can always find entertainment watching them weather through another storm. They were meant to be together no doubt! Kira came back and she just had to have her some Rick. Rick had ole girl confused like nobody's business. Poor Rick has a choice to make and he is having such a hard time making a decision. He's trying so hard to do the right thing. I can't help but to wonder how things will end up for him where his love life is concerned. Kyron brought so much drama to the story....LOL...too bad so sad. He just couldn't leave well enough alone. He had it coming. I knew it was going to go down, just didn't know when. Like the other women in the story Angel & Jaz were definitely a ride or die chicks for their men! They would do anything to keep their HBIC crown. They often got themselves in a bad place for it, but their men loved them just the same. Like Kyron, Trina and Charlie Li had been getting away with so much, it was just a matter of time before Karma caught up to them as well. I'm hoping for another part to the Thug series, because there are a few things I'd like to see play out on paper. If you hadn't read this FIYAH series, then you are not Honoring Wahida Clark's Thug!!

I am a huge huge fan of Wahida Clark I have read "EVERY THUG NEEDS A LADY" several times hell I know the book by heart. But this one I wont be reading again. Tasha & Trae where my favorite couple but it seem like all they do is fuss and fight #smh Tasha & Trae were my favorite couple now I just want them to break up !!!! I hope the next book is better if not I'm going to let Wahida have it *L0L*.....I was very disappointed with this book. The book in my opinion was everywhere. From the situation with Kyron..to what happened with Charli Li...not to mention Kyra and Rick and Jaz and Faheem. And the situation with Trae and Tasha just gets on my last nerve .

Honor Thy Thug lived up to its title where it showed that true friends will have each other's back. This installment picked up where Justify My Thug ended and we find Kyra has returned, Faheem must deal with the death of his son and finally Trae is determined to make his marriage work. This book had the drama and it definitely pitted brother against brother be it blood relation or life long friends. When it was all written and events have transpired, Jaz, Kyra, Angel and Tasha, along with Trae, Kaylin, Fah and Rick proved that true friendship is a strong bond that is unbreakable.

I liked ROZ/TASHA MORE THAN I HAD JAZ, KYRA, AND ESPECIALLY ANGEL. Incidentally, I LOVED KAYLIN SANTOS MORE THAN I DID VOW-BREAKER, WOMAN-BEATING CHEATER TRAE MACKLIN, which was interesting.
I HATED TRAE MACKLIN SO MUCH I WANNA KICK HIS TRIFLIN' A**! HE ONLY THOUGHT OF HIMSELF & HIS D**K WHILE NOT WANTING ROZ/TASHA TO MOVE ON & FIND HAPPINESS WITH SOMEONE ELSE, WHICH WOULD 'VE BEEN HEALTHIER FOR HER & THE KIDS!
I WAS GLAD THAT HE WAS IN JAIL A LOT IN THIS BOOK; IT SHOWED HOW SPOILED HE IS & HIS LACK OF MATURITY, DESPITE BEING A DAD OF POSSIBLY 5 (COUNTING CHARLI LI's UNBORN ILLIGETIMITI)!
I ABSOLUTELY COULDN'T STAND CHARLI LI'S CHARACTER & WONDERED MULTIPLE TIMES WHY WC WOULD KEEP HER AROUND IN THE STORYLINE INVOLVING THE MACKLINS.
I FELT BADLY FOR FAHEEM & THE LOSS OF HIS ILLEGITIMI SON FAHEEM JR.), BUT WANTED JAZ TO FINALLY MOVE ON FROM HIM & FIND SELF-LOVE FOR HERSELF. BUT, IT DIDN'T HAPPEN.
I DIDN'T UNDERSTAND THE STORYLINE OF KYRA, BUT LOVED HER LITTLE GIRL, WHOSE NAME ESCAPES ME.
I HATED RICK's TWO-WOMEN/ THREESOME IDEA & THAT HE PRESSURED KYRA, WHO'D BEEN THROUGH SO MUCH IN HER LIFE ALREADY, INTO ACCEPTING HIS RELATIONSHIP WITH NINA AND FALL IN LINE WITH WHAT BENEFITED HIM BEST.
THERE ANGEL SANTOS WAS MAKING HERSELF SEEM BIGGER THAN EVERYONE ELSE , WHICH IS WHY I COULD NEVER STAND HER SNOOTY A**! IT BOTHERED ME THAT THOUGH SHE KNEW THAT TRAE WAS DOIN' WRONG (REPEATEDLY IN MICHAEL JACKSON'S "I'M BAD" BREAKDOWN VOICE!) AGAINST HIS WIFE & HER FRIEND ROZ/TASHA SHE WAS THE MAIN ONE CRITICIZING ROZ/TASHA FOR HER 'GETBACK AT TRAE WITH KYRON SANTOS' CIRCUMSTANCE.
IT SEEMED THAT KAYLIN WAS THE LEAST TO BE CRITICAL, EVEN AGAINST HIS BROTHER KYRON, WHICH MADE ME LOVE HIS CHARACTER MORE THAN EVERY OTHER CHARACTER IN THE BOOK & SERIES.
I HATED THAT KAYLIN KILLED HIS BROTHER KYRON. I WON'T COMPARE THE TWO TO CAIN & ABEL BECAUSE IN THE THUG SERIES, BOTH SANTOS BROTHERS DID THEIR SHARE OF DIRT! AND ABEL WAS GOD'S FAVORITE 'GRANDSON'!
HEY, WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO KAYLIN'S COUSIN KYRON SANTOS FROM PR THAT HAD BEEN FEATURED IN THUG MATRIMONY BOOK? DID WC DECIDE TO RE-WRITE THE CHARACTER FROM COUSIN FROM PUERTO RICO TO OLDER BROTHER FROM FED PRISON?
AT ANY RATE, PRETTY GOOD READ!

soo let me just say i didnt really like the way the book ended.. but i will be sure to check out the last one of the series.
this book had ALOT of killing and people dying. my favorite couple has always been trae and tasha and the stuff that they get through and make it through in this book is amazing. im literally rooting for their successful marriage.
jaz and faheem they did get a little rocky in here and usually its always good between them. death occured alot within their side. n
kyra there is no longer her husband a sad tragic thing managed to happen to him. but she was a survivor. i defintely thought she was dead. and i wonder who rick ended up picking .. never got that outta this book.
angel and kaylin i think they had THE LEAST problems this go around.. everything for the most part was pretty good.
kyron was a shiesty ass nigga when it came all down to it. he literally switched it up at the last minute. he really gave in kane & abel vibes with the way he tried to do his little brother.
trina made me mad throughout this book because she was always getting tasha in some shit or doing some grimy shit... sooo her karma ended up coming to her.
i love wahida and she did the damn thing on this whole series of books. i just hope the last book is just as good.

My review in 6 words: everybody done lost their mind

All of the couples are weathering their individual storms once again in this book so you know it was a wild ride. The chapters were short but action packed which made it a great read for me. Again, we have another book filled with twists, turns, and a high death rate! All I do know is that this book had e questioning people’s mental state. I mean you have a character that feels like them cheating was justified but when the spouse cheats it is unacceptable. You have TWO characters being told you are just a pawn in the game but they go through GREAT lengths or shall I say GRAVE lengths to ensure that their status change from pawn to top dog…

“You always want me to honor your thug, but you need to recognize and honor mines” . In Honor Thy Thug by Wahida Clark there are three couples that have been through alot and is still going through it after many of years. Every time the couples think they have took two steps ahead and good things start to happen to them something always pull them back and something tragic happens. The first couple is Tasha and Trae and right about now their marriage is on the rocks and they have a couple of enemies trying to break their family apart. Then there is Angle and Kaylin, they are doing very well but eventually something hits the fan whether it their problems or their friend’s problems. Last but surely not least there is Jaz and Faheem they are going through alot right now they have took lost after lost after lost and they are getting pretty tired of going through the pain they have to go through. All of these couples have problems, but they all handle their problems together.
Trae and Tasha have been in a rough place in their marriage and soon as things start to get better for them something hits the fan. Trae has been offered a deal from the famous Mr.Li which is the biggest drug dealer in L. A, Trae has always thought about every move he makes or made so that if something happens he would have a plan and also a backup plan and that’s what Mr.Li admired about him. The fact that Trae was very intelligent, careful and was all about the money made Mr.Li want to work with him even more and was willing to do anything to get him on his team, but luckly for Mr.Li Trae had been out of the drug dealing game for along time and promised his wife that when they moved to L.A from New York everything would change and she wouldn’t have to worry about him getting in any trouble because he was out the game for good. When the Macklin’s family moved to L.A things actually got worse then better. Trae happened to step out of his marriage with Mr.Li’s daughter Charli and Tasha ended up finding out about it. So when Mr.Li offered Trae a spot on his drug dealing team Tasha was very mad not only at the fact that he was considering of getting back in the game but also at the fact that she knew that Charli had something to do with this offer to her husband from her father. This scared Tasha because she knew that this would not make their marriage better at all, she didn’t know why Trae would want to start back at this again, they had money to last them for a lifetime.
Angle and Kaylin is actually in a good spot in their marriage and in life, they have a Record Company that is going very great and they have just found a new artist with dope talent. Her name is Lil E and she is heading straight to the top, Angle works with this young lady every day and she gets bigger and bigger. She went from nobody knowing her to everybody knowing of her in just a snap of a finger, but like I said nothing good could just keep coming to these couples. Since Lil E is apart of their company she is also family and just when good things started to happen in their life Lil E found out she was pregnant by a man who was now an enemy of her. Angle is also pregnant and could pop any second of the day and she is also having troubles. The man that she use to be in love with came back into her life, she thought he was dead because she hadn’t spoken to him in over 5 years. She does not want him anymore because she is happily married to her husband that she is extremely in love with, but Snake which is the man that disappeared for over 5 years will not leave her alone and she is scared that if she tells her husband she is going to snap, so she has to take matters into her own hands.
Then there is Jaz and Faheem and their life is basically a living hell right now. The couple moved to Atlanta from New York and Faheem discovered that he had a son that was 7 years old, he didn’t know because his son’s mother never told him and when she got pregnant she left New York and moved to Atlanta not wanting to tell Faheem that she was carrying his baby. Faheem was just getting to know his little guy until the men that his son’s mother owed money to came and took him from his mother possession and told them that he was not to be given back until she paid all of their money back. At this point Faheem is very mad and wanting to kill his son’s mother but he know that he can’t do that because it will just make everything worse. Faheem talk to the guys that had his son and told that he had all of the money and told them where to meet him at. Faheem and his son’s mother brothers went to go get his son and also to give them the money, but when they the men the money somebody started shooting and Faheem son got shot in the head.
All of these couples are going through alot, Trae ended up taking the deal with Mr.Li and working for him for a while with his partner and crime Kaylin. Then Trae ended going to jail over something really petty and Tasha was just holding everything down until he gets home. When Trae got home Mr.Li didn’t want to have nothing to do with him or Kaylin and told them he never wants to see them again. Angle ended up having a lot of troubles with her ex and killed him, but she didn’t get locked up for it because it was self defense, and Lil E enemy tried to kill her but he didn’t accomplish that goal of his, but he did end up killing the baby that she was carrying. Faheem killed his son’s mother and all of her brothers, and also the men that killed his son with help of his wife Jaz, of course they didn’t get caught because they move carefully.

Okay, I'm not going to lie. This series is getting a little overwhelming. Everything and everyone is all over the place. Let alone Tashai and Tre's toxic relationship. Now, one thing that really tickled me the most is when Tashai responded to Kryon's letter. She went in!!! To say that she didn't kill their baby but the baby committed suicide (miscarriage) .. I was out!! Tashai was wrong for that but we know she crae crae sooooo.

As overwhelming as it seems to be, I'm still in.

Last thing ... I'm glad the narrator, Cary Hite, did not fluctuate or change his voice as much as he did in book 5. He was sounding like DMX and Mos Def. It was very strange.

This book was so good. It was unexpected twists & turns. Deceptions and murders that I didn’t see coming at all. It also left me with some unanswered questions like did Charli survive the attack. Did Kendrick really kill Trina? Did Trae get out of jail? I wanted more out of the ending especially since this is the last book of the series.

Penultimate book in the series. I’m a little annoyed that this one was giving me those Love and Hip Hop/Basketball Wives vibes. You know when the characters do stupid ish to mess everything us unnecessarily.

SPOILER: WHY is Tasha so insecure. WHY can’t these sistahs exercise SOME impulse control. My personal pet peeve... sigh...

Wahida is still the Boss Lady though.

Doing these all at once, I'm beginning to feel redundant. If you like any of the Thug Series, then this entry will not disappoint! The only thing I wish I could change about my experience of these books is that I wish I'd read them in order...

This book was so much better than the last one. The storyline's were a little tighter and not all over the place and the amount of killings went down. Hahaha, that being said, Wahida Clark has the capacity to involve me into her storylines and I have a hard time putting the books down.

3.5 This one was not my favorite. I didn't like the turn Kyron took. Much of the storyline picked up about 60-75% of the book. But I love the series as whole and Wahida's writing. I will continue to the last book in the series. Curiosity will always rule my actions.
