Once again, since these books are so short, I'll do a bigger, longer review with the final book, so for right now, just a few quick thoughts. Another great installment. This book felt the most like "Resident Evil"...as if I were playing the game. There is nonstop action and violence. It felt like the big boss battles that you get in the games where the heroes fight the villains. Everyone is in peril! And who is the hooded woman? I think I have a guess and I'm excited to see if I've guessed right. And I think it might be another franchise favorite. Watch me be totally wrong! And with this installment we finally get a lot more of Chris, Piers, and Merah who have only been in the first 3 books very briefly. Nice to see these three in action working with Ricky. Definitely very exited to see where the final book is going and how exactly it might tie into "Resident Evil 6," if at all.

An education to die for.
Chris, Piers, and Merah from the B.S.A.A (Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance) have arrived to a situation they were not expecting and are less then prepared to take on as the new and improved zombie virus spreads quickly through the student body in their isolated little academy. A moment from ending his own life Ricky is saved by Chris Redfield and joins the B.S.A.A group as they try to find any survivors and a possible escape from the zombie hellscape that the academy has become. There will be some boss fighting action and some evolving baddie action going on in this action packed zombie splat fest. So buckle in as the person behind everything finally shows herself to our heroes and we move on to the final volume of this prequel manga.

Auch dieser Band ist wieder extrem mitreißend! Endlich kommt die BSAA und somit Chris und sein Team richtig ins Spiel und der Manga strotzt vor Action.
Verluste, Rückblicke, Planänderungen und Bosskämpfe, alles enthalten was man von Resident Evil kennt und liebt.
Ich würde allerdings empfehlen, den Manga erst zu lesen, wenn der letzte Band auch griffbereit ist!

Después de leer tres tomos de esta historia me he interesado más por los personajes que han sido introducidos en esta historia. La infección ya ha avanzado y después de un tiempo han llegado un par de personajes ya conocidos por los amantes de esta franquicia. Y la esperanza aparece de nuevo.
Recomendado para aquellos que tengan conocimiento previo en la historia, pero igual puede ser disfrutada por todos.

Die japanische Softwarefirma Capcom, die bereits für die Videospielreihe sowie vier Realverfilmungen und einen Animationsfilm verantwortlich war, startet nun erstmals eine eigene Manga-Adaption ihres weltweiten Top-Titels.

Das Cover hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Zu sehen ist hier wieder auf schwarzem Grund einer der Charaktere aus der aktuellen Geschichte. Dieses Mal handelt es sich um den Charakter des Pers Evans. Ihn sehen wir hier, wie auch Chris auf dem dritten Cover, in typischer Soldatenkleidung sowie einer Waffe in der Hand, was dem Leser für den Inhalt wieder eine Menge spannender Szenen verspricht.
Eigener Eindruck:
Gerade noch so konnte Chris Redfield Ricky retten. Mit Eintreffen der BSAA – dem Sonderkommando unter Redfield – beginnt die Säuberung der Schule von den Zombies. Weil es aber an der Schule keinen Empfang gibt, beauftragt Redfield seine rechte Hand Pers Nivans zu einem Punkt zurück zu fahren, wo er Empfang hat. Währenddessen findet Nanan in der Schule Rickys Onkel Doug und infiziert ihn. Ricky muss eine schwerwiegende Entscheidung treffen… Gemeinsam mit den anderen Überlebenden wollen Ricky und Redfield sich in Sicherheit bringen, aber bereits auf dem Weg dahin werden sie und ihre Mitstreiterin Merah von Bindi angegriffen, die sonderbare Mutationen aufweist und unverwundbar scheint. Hilfe bekommt die Gruppe plötzlich durch Piers, doch schon bald stehen sie dem nächsten Gegner gegenüber und auch Ricky begegnet seinem personifiziertem Albtraum, als die Unbekannte mit dem schwarzen Cape plötzlich auftaucht und ihm irgendeine unbekannte Substanz injiziert….
Actiongeladen und mit vielen ungeahnten Wendungen wird der Leser regelrecht durch den vierten Band getrieben, denn wirklich Zeit zum Wundern und Verschnaufen bleibt nicht. Immer wieder kommt es zu Angriffen durch Zombies und den beiden Mädchen Nanan und Bindi, welche nicht mehr menschlich sind und immer, wenn man denkt, okay, das war es jetzt, dann tauchen sie doch wieder auf. Das ist bisweilen vielleicht doch ein bisschen nervig, aber irgendwie doch auch wieder so spannend, dass man den Manga kaum aus den Händen legen kann. Es ist wirklich interessant, wie der Mangaka so konstant qualitativ gute Zeichnungen abliefern kann und doch immer wieder neue Details auftauchen, über die man sich wirklich wundern kann. Das ist einfach wahnsinnig gut gemacht und macht so viel Spaß, dass ich fast schon ein bisschen traurig bin, dass ich nun zum letzten Band der Reihe greifen muss. Ehrlicherweise habe ich mit so etwas nicht gerechnet, da mich die Filme nicht begeistern konnten. Aber die Mangas sind einfach eine Klasse für sich.
Fazit:
Auch den vierten Teil kann ich euch absolut empfehlen. Die Qualität in der Reihe bleibt konstant und macht einfach Spaß. Wirklich klasse.

En éste volumen entramos de pleno en la guerra entre el foco del virus, y el causante de éste con los supervivientes restantes que hay entre el resto del alumnado y los especialistas de la BSSA. Así pues, enfrentamientos con armas biológicas tipo B.O.W. Lo dicho, Pura acción y adrenalina, alguna muerte muy relevante y un posible punto de ‘no retorno’ para alguno de los protagonistas de la entrega ¿Qué más se puede pedir?

Este tomo fue mucho más rápido, meramente acción. Pero realmente ese plot twist del 3er tomo fue el pico en la historia, y creo que difícilmente mejorarán la historia.
Lo peor de todo, si a los creadores, ilustradores o lo que sea no les molesta poner a colegialas abiertas de piernas y gritando mientras les meten tentáculos; no les debería importar intentar heterosexualizar a Piers con la personaje de aquí.

This is the volume that felt most like the games.

And the cavalry has arrived! Yay Chris!
While RE as manga is awesome, bring flat and black and white, the B.O.W.s are not a clear or well presented as they are in the game or movies. This does take away a little bit.
Still loving the story though.

You can really tell that after the 3rd one its finally taking off and going the resident evil style route.
This one really was gripping and I didn‘t even notice how fast it was going by. Just right when I thought ‚ohhh its gonna be a few more pages‘ it was over.

I know that Biohazard Marhawa Desire has already finished and I only have one more volume left, but Volume 4 packed so many punches it was making me wish there were more books in this series! The new high-speed pacing and totally over-the-top action of Volumes 3 and 4 is a perfect fit for this story (and Resident Evil).

Ce tome-ci n’était pas une relecture.
Suite directe des précédents, dans ce volume 3, nous retrouvons nos personnages où ils en étaient, avec l’arrivée de trois membres du B.S.A.A., qui découvrent que la situation est bien pire que ce à quoi ils s’attendaient.
Depuis le tout début, un personnage mystérieux, en cape noire à capuche fait de nombreuses apparitions. J’avais quelques doutes quant à son identité, mais après l’apparition de deux choses en sa possession, il s’est avéré que j’avais bien deviné qui était ce personnage que l’on retrouve dans les jeux Resident Evil. Mais je n’en dirais pas plus, pour ne pas gâcher la lecture de ceux n’ayant pas encore lu les mangas.
En ce qui concerne les personnages, rien n’a changé par rapport à mon attachement à leur égard. Sauf pour un personnage. Piers Nivans, que j’aimais déjà beaucoup dans le jeu Resident Evil 6. Mais en apprendre un petit peu plus sur son passé, sur sa relation avec un autre personnage du manga, et justement de le voir avec quelqu’un d’autre que Chris, ça change, j’ai beaucoup aimé ses passages. De plus, mes passages préférés de la série de manga, sont les scènes d’action et de combat de Piers. Pour le coup, j’aime encore plus son personnage qu’après avoir joué à Resident Evil 6.
L’action ne manque pas dans ce volume, il y en a partout et ça rend bien la tension de la situation.
Bref, encore un très bon volume, qui est peut-être mon préféré de la série de mangas Resident Evil !

Este volumen tiene dibujos tanto geniales como artísticos, este japonés sí que es un autor del manga aprte de que es mi anime favorito, bueno sobre el volumen hay muchas escenas de acción y pocas sobre la misteriosa mujer de capucha
