This is the first review I’ve ever written for a book out of the 40+ books I’ve logged on here, so I hope that alone says something. As a young band director, and as a person who hates wasting time, I truly appreciate the way this book is written. Kish gets right to the point of addressing problems and providing solutions. There’s so much detail and illustration that helps to understand the information he is giving. He also does it without cluttering the book with constant “fluffing.” If I were recommending books to new band directors, this is in the top 5.
