Cleophas arrived in Jerusalem the week of Passover as a follower of Jesus Christ with hopes of bringing the truth of the Savior to his family. Cleophas arrived to find a dead brother, a grieving mother and sister, and his Sadducee father, who he had disappointed by leaving the family earlier to follow John the Baptist.
