A very strong issue letting the present time showcase Clark’s loss while also giving us Hope….not a friendly Green Lantern.

Singularly one of the best comics that includes PTSD I have ever seen. Doesn't mean there aren't better, it just means that it's what I've seen and read. I was really impressed. And am impressed, and I find it heartbreaking. Constantly.
I am curious about Hope, and I don't agree with what she's doing but I see how her actions make sense to her.
Not to mention I like that the plot isn't really what feels like the heart of the book? It does feel a bit like the Odyssey. Trying desperately to get home. Wanting to be with his wife, but y'know, he's got some other issues going on and the implication isn't great.
But that he's trying to fit back in and integrate into his life is a good soldier coming home story, too. Feels a bit like what you read about WW1 in the textbooks. Either way it's one of my favorites and I enjoy it.

Clark is starting to lose his sense of self. His ‘friends’ may not actually be his friends. And he is getting over his head.

In addition Hope may be trying to keep him from moving on for her own selfish reasons.

Okay, we are back on track! Best issue since the first one. I don’t know how Lois and Clark recover from this but at least she’s fighting. I was starting to think she was going to give up.
