It feels like I’ve been drowning for five years, barely keeping my head above the water. I lost everything that mattered to me. I never expected to feel anything again, to want anything again, or anyone. Then one night I find a young man on the streets and the next thing I know I’m offering to let him stay in my spare room. I don’t do things like this, but I feel protective of him from the moment I see him. He’s acting all tough but I can tell he’s scared and searching for a place to belong. And maybe, maybe I need someone to save.
But as time goes on, and the more we’re together, I find myself caring for him more than I should. The intensity to which I’m drawn to him is terrifying, because he’s only nineteen, and I’ve never felt this way about another guy before. What does that say about me? I can’t develop feelings for him. He’s too young, and he’s far too good for me. So full of life and light. And he has no idea what I’ve done, the kind of person I am; and if he ever found out, he would hate me.
Charlie
I’ve spent my whole life hearing that it’s wrong to be me. To love what I love, to love who I love, and it’s made me make some difficult choices. I’ve had to do things I’m not so proud of, things that still keep me up at night. Being on the streets was my choice, and I would do it all again to get away from my abusive parents. When the sexy older man shows up and rescues me from my tormentors I am stunned. No one has ever cared for me before, saved me before. Still, I am hesitant to let him do more for me, or stay at his home. Surely he wants something in return, right? No one ever does something for nothing.
But the more time we spend together the more I realize he’s not like everyone else in my life. He isn’t cruel, or manipulative, or harsh. He isn’t using me and he doesn’t want anything but for me to be exactly who I am, to be safe and happy. Can this be real? Can he be real? And could I be falling for him? But I’m a street kid, and 27 years his junior. How could he ever want someone like me?
Until You is a steamy age gap, standalone mm romance, featuring a sassy femme boy twink, a sweetheart silver fox, a 27 year age gap, close proximity, size difference, sexual awakening, hurt/comfort, foot/toe kink, panty kink, all the skirts and crop tops, and found family. It contains explicit sexual content and is not intended for anyone under the age of 18.
Until is a beautiful emotional age/gap romance between two broken men who are haunted by events from their past. Paul is emotionally damaged by the loss of his son, while Charlie is struggling with his family's abandonment. Together they meet on such a random and coincidental occasion, where they instantly are aware of the other and are captivated simultaneously.
Paul sees Charlie as his second chance of rescuing another lonely and abandoned man, while Charlie feels accepted and protected for the first time in his life. Together they find solace and peace with the other and slowly fall for one another in such a sweet and endearing way.
Overall I really enjoyed this emotional story and found myself getting quite affected by the strong emotional beats of the story. Loved the characters and how much they grow, making for a powerful love story.
*** I reviewed a complimentary copy of this story.***
I swear I love everything Felicity Snow writes. I naturally gravitate towards more angsty books and it's harder for me to read a very fluffy story. Felicity's stories are perfectly balanced between being lighthearted and giving a little dose of angst. They’re the perfect palate cleanser for me. Until You was no exception and I think it's my favourite Felicity book so far.
It was so sweet to see the romance between Paul and Charlie develop. These two MCs have a huge age gap separating them (27) and at the same time their relationship made so much sense. I really felt that both MCs had something to bring to the other and that they were a perfect match. I was a little surprised that it ended up being a slowburn, which isn't usually my style. But here it worked perfectly and didn't leave me frustrated. And when we got to the good stuff a little after the 50% mark, it was really fiery. All that tension had to be released eventually. I was a skeptic of the foot/toe kink...but now I'm a convert...that scene was beautiful and erotic. Brilliantly written and so sensual.
I loved Charlie, this sassy boy with such a bright personality. It was wonderful to see his transformation, to see him finally embrace who he is and be accepted. Paul and his great generosity also touched me. His story is delivered to us slowly, piece by piece, and when we finally get the full picture, it's impossible not to feel heartbroken for him. I've rarely read a book with two such lovable MCs.
I literally devoured Until You, and once it was finished, it left me with a feeling of well-being and warmth. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this novel.
I don't like femboys at least in the way the author wrote it 🥺 Charlie is two dimensional, he so stereotypical, his personality is so flat there's nothing beside him except high heels and make up, I liked his personality on the first couple of chapters, how bold and brave he was with the way he interacts with Paul when they first meet each other, I don't know how to explained it in English His personality is so outspoken and biting then he changes completely to someone so submissive and docile. I do like Paul backstory tho, his savior complex and redemption arc, I think he's hot sweet and caring. It's pretty insta, unrealistic because how fast they connect to each other and predictable specifically the third act. The source of the problem always got blown out by someone because the mc keeps putting the problem aside.
I enjoyed this a lot. When I started reading I thought this was going to be a five star read for me but it took some weird turns that lowered my rating. The characters are presented in a certain way and some of the choices they made had me not being able to connect the choice to the way they were previously portrayed and it felt very disconnected at times.
HEAVY SPOILERS BELOW. Charlie decides to live with Paul but makes a stand about not taking handouts but that apparently goes completely out the window when Paul takes him to buy some clothes. As soon as Paul shows that he’s okay with Charlie picking clothes from the girl’s section he picks out a lot of outfits and fancy footwear. I don’t understand how we went from hesitant to accept anything to being okay with being spoiled ???
Charlie is apparently so charismatic and friendly that the server at the restaurant basically offers him a job.
All of Paul’s friends don’t bat and eye at Charlie’s age or gender and accept him completely but Paul’s ex wife has a tiny freak out and then apologizes, meets Charlie after apologizing and invites him to do her make up at her wedding and tells Paul not to mess it up cos Charlie is a catch … this happens like half an hour after she meets Charlie.
By this point I’m feeling like the characters live in a bubble and everything is too perfect but I’m still really enjoying the co-dependency vibes and the overall cuteness between the MCs. There’s a lot of head kisses, hand holding and cuddling and I love that. 🥰
Then we get to the main conflict, where Paul’s secret comes to light and Charlie leaves, goes to stay with his new friend for TWO WEEKS with no contact with Paul. Now, I understand it being a shock as to how it came to light and I understand needing a little space before hearing Paul’s side of the story but staying away for that long when Charlie is aware that Paul is a good person because of everything that’s happened between them felt extremely out of character. Due to this I was expecting a big emotional reunion especially since Charlie only goes to Paul when the ex wife calls and says Paul is in the hospital. The reunion is pretty lack luster, even when they are back home it doesn’t feel like they had that 2 week separation, when Paul tells Charlie what happened with his son Charlie is there to reassure him he’s a good guy and that he loves him even before Paul starts his story.
We get some time jumps. Paul’s ex wife is pregnant and asks Charlie to be the nanny since apparently they’re best friends now.
A five year jump for the epilogue with a proposal and signing up for the author’s newsletter gives us a short story of the wedding.
Even with my complaints I still really enjoyed reading the story. I loved the hurt/comfort and codependency, the cuddles and hand-holding 🥰
Warning: This has toe kink? Not my thing but I wasn’t bothered by it but if you’re grossed out by feet I wouldn’t recommend reading this 😂
✄┈┈┈┈ My ratings always reflect my enjoyment of the story. Just because it aligns or doesn’t align with my tastes does not mean it’ll be the same for you. Try reading it for yourself ! ❀

I have to eat my words when I say this, and that’s ok because I can admit when I’m wrong. This book was beautiful and the end made it worth reading about feet 🤣 Still not my kink and feet are still gross but I would 100% read this again.
Charlie is everything and such a beautiful soul. I adored his character so much. He felt unique, and like a breath of fresh air. His hardships and what he endured by his parents, didn’t take away that sparkly personality. He shined so bright.
Paul, was such a well rounded gentlemen. He is haunted by the ghosts of his past. Losing his son in such a devastatingly way changed him. It changed his views and the way he lived, it altered his path, completely.
Paul and Charlie met by chance, and he immediately offers aide to get Charlie out of a sticky situation. I love how Paul, took him in without hesitation, and helped him without expecting anything in return. He willingly gave him what he needed and watching these two fall was so damn beautiful. The 27 year ago didn’t affect their chemistry or their relationship. Paul let’s it hold him back at first but when they quit fighting there attraction, it was so worth it. I love books where they fight wanting to be together. It’s so much better when the restraint snaps and they give into what they want.
Felicity Snow, I’m so sorry I judged your book before I finished it. I’m so glad I continued reading and didn’t let a kink I don’t like stop me because I would of been missing out. This was such an incredible, emotional, beautiful journey and you did an amazing job. 🩵
Thank you GRR for this ARC and for giving me the opportunity to read this.
Until You is the first book I have read from this author, and I absolutely loved it. This one was super emotional, sweet, sexy, and you’ll fall in love with Charlie.
It features some of my favorite tropes: - bi-awakening - age gap (46 and 19 year old I believe are the ages) - care taking - lace and silk and a beautiful boy who loves pretty things
Paul is still pretty lost after the death of his son and separation from his wife. He rescues a young man from being harassed and tries to help him get back on his feet, wanting to do the right thing.
Charlie is young and trying to survive out on the streets. He winds up staying at Paul’s, although he is very resistant to his help at first.
I loved these two together. I love them building trust and a friendship and then having it become more. They had great chemistry together and I love how they brought out the best of each other.
Of course, the main conflict came from Paul’s past and things coming to light. I won’t spoil things, but they are super emotional.
Oh, I also have to say how much I love that Paul is friends with his ex wife and they have a great friendship. And she is supportive and kind to Charlie. I love that she’s not the villain here.
Definitely can’t wait to read more from this author!
I received an arc in exchange for an honest review.
This book isn’t for me, it made me really uncomfortable.
The writing is very approximate and the characters changed their personalities all of a sudden.
I expected Charlie to be more wary toward Paul but he accepted his help too easily. Paul is bland and weird, honestly he's a creep. Why was he obsessed with this homeless kid from day 1? They acted as if they knew each other already, the trust between them didn't make any sense. Something wasn’t right.
Then Charlie was this strong kid who lived on the street and wouldn’t hesitate to fight three guys and was full of sarcasm. All of a sudden, he became a crying baby, it’s all he did really. Someone talks to him and he cries, he wants to buy skirts and not jeans, he cries...
This story definitely tugs on the heartstrings. This book has some angsty moments, but it also has some sweet ones too. It’s about two flawed and broken men who learn how to grow, heal from their pasts, and let someone in.
This book features a significant age gap between the two MCs. Some might raise an eyebrow at the 27 year age gap, but it works for them. Paul is 46 years old and divorced. He is dealing with the aftermath of a serious event that affected his family five years ago. Charlie is 19 years old and homeless. He’s had a rough home life. He’s in a dangerous situation when Paul steps in to help him.
The pair form an unlikely, but fast friendship of sorts. It’s clear that Charlie is taken with Paul pretty early on (after moving past his understandable trust issues). Paul is intent on taking care of Charlie. The desire to protect him is strong from the beginning. The MCs are really good for one another. They both provide each other with a purpose and sense of belonging. It was really sweet watching them grow more comfortable and close as they spent more time together. It takes a while for Paul to come to terms with his blossoming attraction and feelings for Charlie. There’s definitely some emotional strife in this novel. That said, the MCs have really strong chemistry between them. They share real passion. (I appreciated Paul’s insistence on safe sex while both MCs navigated the STI process in this novel).
Something big is revealed around the 85% mark. It provides a bit of conflict between the two MCs. They spend a short stint apart before they talk it out and make up. Their HEA is well earned. The epilogue is both heartfelt and humorous.
I feel like Rachel had a realistic reaction to Paul and Charlie’s relationship. I was pleased when she opened up and got to know Charlie on a deeper level. My heart really went out to Trey. His character is a reminder that not everyone gets the acceptance, unconditional love, and/or peace they deserve.
Note: There are certain topics in this book that may be triggering for some. There are references to parental abuse, child loss, (religious) homophobia, homelessness, drug use, STIs, and sex work. All of these potential triggers are handled with sensitivity and grace.
No ranting..
I am so glad I got to read this before everyone because this was one of the amazing stories written by the author Felicity Snow. This story was so pure & the characters were so beautifully written, I loved each one of them.
Paul meets Charlie one night outside the bar where Charlie is being beaten up by some people & he rescues him & immediately starts to feel very protective about him. Charlie is a homeless person & though he doesn't want handouts from Paul, he lets him help him to clean his wounds & buy some necessities & then he leaves. After some days, Charlie shows up again on Paul's doorstep to return the money he paid to buy him stuff though Paul didn't ask for it & also he is high & sick, so Paul suggests he spend a night in his spare room. The next day, after they make an agreement Charlie decides to stay for a month with Paul & help him with housework, so he doesn't feel like this is a handout.
I loved how Charlie could be himself with Paul & Paul never let Charlie hide his sexuality or what he wants to wear, he let him be himself. Their chemistry was amazing & I loved how caring they were towards each other, the banter between them was amazingly written. I was intrigued by Paul's son's death & when it was revealed it broke my heart for Paul for how much he has gone through but I was glad he had Charlie by his side. The side characters in this book were all amazing & I loved how they cared for both Paul & Charlie. Their sexual chemistry was so hot 🔥 & though there are topics talked about unprotected sex & its consequences, I think that was a very real & interesting part for me.
▪️About this book: -Age Gap (27 Years) -Standalone MM Romance -Close Proximity -Size Difference -Sexual Awakening -Hurt/Comfort -Found Family -HEA
▪️Thoughts: Until You is an age gap romance of 27 years with a lot of feelings which brings the focus of hurt/comfort throughout this whole book. Charlie is a 19 years old homeless teenager who's been through parental emotional abuse. Throughout his life he has lacked the parental care and love every child should have and it was very sad to read that. Paul is 46 and divorced living a life where he feels alone and craves someone to come home to. He wants to hear laughter and feel happiness as soon as he gets home. After an outing Paul sees Charlie and instantly feels this overwhelming need to protect and care for him. Both characters fit each other emotionally amazingly. Charlie had a lot of things from his past haunt him and Paul as well. Paul accepted, cared, and eventually loved Charlie. And Charlie felt and understood how different it was from anything he had ever had before. This book touched a lot of important topics such as accepting someone for who they are, loss of a child and how it affects everyone around them, and mention of religious trauma which was such an eye opening topic as well as devastating. Until You really made me work for some unanswered questions I had haha. Overall it was a great read filled with a lot of sweet moments between Paul and Charlie as well as a lot of the side characters which I really enjoyed reading about as well.
▪️Quotes: 💬 He makes me feel safe and whole and wanted. He drives away my anxiety and fears like nothing ever has before. I need him. I want him. And I know he wants me. I know we can be good. 💬 From the moment I met him, he captivated me, inspired me, enthralled me. He made me want things I’ve never wanted before, made me laugh and smile again, made me see the world in ways I’d never seen it before.
▪️TWs: Loss of child, mental, emotional parental abuse, parental homophobia, mentions of drug use, mention of alcohol use, mention of drug overdose, mention of religious trauma, mentions of prostitution, STIs
I received this book as an ARC, all of this is my honest opinion.
5 stars I loved Charlie and Paul's story, even if their journey together wasn't easy. Both of them were dealing with trauma and loss, both of them lost their family, both of them were alone and in a bad emotional place. Charlie never experimented true love, Paul had that, but he lost it. They had different experiences, that made them insecure and scared. I loved how the author didn't make them immediately jump into a sexual relationship, instead they spent a lot of time together, getting to know each other.
Despite all the genuine feelings between them, though, they couldn't handle the truth: Paul was too scared to lose Charlie and Charlie was still so convinced to not be lovable that didn't let Paul explain his story. But even with their flaws, Paul and Charlie still find their way back to one another. They don't love each other because they think they deserve it, they love each other because they cannot avoid it: their love is big and strong and intense, it's there, between them and it's inevitable. Their love will help them learn from their mistakes, do better and be each other's family.
The whole story of Trey's death was very very painful to read and I wish Trey had simply run away. Luckily, the epilogue was very beautiful and the book left me with happy tears.
I absolutely recommend it.
Edit Recently I had the opportunity to listen to the audiobook: it was amazing, Tristan James did a remarkable job bringing Paul and Charlie's emotions to life.
Well……did this book make me cry? Yes it damn well did!!! I wasn’t expecting that!!
This was a great story, pretty low angst, full of all my favourite things, kinks, lace, a fabulous femme MC and then comes a punch to the face lol!!!
I loved that the age gap was 27 mother-f-ing years! I’m in my age gap era!
What I really loved was how Paul (older MC) had every day problems, we don’t normally get to hear about, stuff that older men go through. I loved that he had a weakness in his knee and that he snored, needed antacids (they are like gold) that fact he had to find different sexual positions because he’s not as nimble as he used to be! It was refreshing to read.
Paul is an older MC, he’s gone through a divorce but he’s still friends with his ex, they had some troubled times and you find out why later in the book and it’s heartbreaking. He’s lonely and don’t go out much, but has an evening with co workers, as he leaves he comes across a young man being attacked, he tries to help but just gets snark from the boy! Despite the boys reluctance he does help him out and Paul realises he’s probably homeless, so he gives the young man his address incase he ever needs help again, he don’t expect him to ever turn up, even though he can’t seem to get him off his mind.
Charlie has been on the streets a while, so when a man tries to help him out he’s wary, no one helps you out without wanting something in return right? So why does it feel different?Charlie is struggling with the life he’s living and ends up at Paul’s door, he’s just there to return the money he owed him, but ends up staying a bit longer. But how long will it be before he no longer wants to help out a scrawny homeless man.
Loved this dynamic, loved the care between both men, loved how the STI testing was dealt with, another everyday issue that so many go through. I really enjoyed this book.

✨Age gap (27 years) ✨Sexual Awakening ✨Sassy femboy twink ✨Sweetheart silver fox ✨Hurt/comfort ✨Insta lust with a slow burn ✨Foot/toe kink ✨All the skirts and crop tops ✨Found family
4 star. Sweet, cute. Well written overall with great spicy scenes, spice is medium-high. Super insta and somewhat OTT but l’m not looking for super realism when I read a Pretty Women style book. Entertaining, cute couple, fast read.
HEA, m/m, homeless, grief/loss, hurt/comfort, construction, vers, age gap, large age gap 20+ years, contemporary, gender non-conforming attire.
Paul is alone. 5 years after his divorce, he is completely shut off and alone. There are reasons, and it almost feels like penance. [When you get to that part, prepare to be heartbroken] One night, after a rare evening out with his coworkers, Paul ends up "rescuing" a guy from a beat down behind a bar. The man, after begrudgingly accepting Paul's patch up, leaves, and maybe that's the end of it.
It's not the end of it.
Charlie is living on the street, doing what he has must to survive. He shows back up in Paul's life, neither of them knowing what the other will mean to them.
There's so much to unpack from this book. Paul's heartbreak and trauma [this is redacted!] Charlie's baggage from his parents and his life on the street.
But my favorite thing about this book isn't the trauma and the sex (even though it's totally fire) - for me, it's how perfect these two are for each other. Sure, the 27-year age gap seems too much, but honestly, these two WORK. Paul brings care, acceptance, and stability into Charlie's life. Charlie brings sunshine and love into Paul's grey, sad world.
I liked seeing Paul struggle with "Is this right or wrong?" and I love how bossy and forthright Charlie is in response.
I was a little on the fence with the foot/toe kink parts of the story, but for real, it works for them. It doesn't seem gross or weird. It's just THEM.
There's a scene near the end that ripped my heart out. I knew it would be bad when it happened, and it was so sad. But the conversation had to be had, and I liked how the author handled it. It felt real, and it was as devastating as it should have been.
I absolutely recommend this story! If you're looking for a BIG age gap, a sassy femme boy, a sweetheart silver fox, close proximity, size difference, sexual awakening, hurt/comfort, foot/toe kink, panty kink, all the skirts and crop tops, found family and lots of baggage - this book is for you!

This is the first book I read by Felicity Snow and I liked it very much. It was a lot more emotional than I anticipated, but it was such a beautiful read. Paul has been punishing himself for the last five years. He's leading a very lonely life when he meets Charlie when the latter is in a very difficult situation. Paul helps Charlie and offers him a place to stay, but Charlie doesn't accept the help until a month later. Once they start living together there is no way they can keep their feelings for each other to themselves. This was such an emotional, sweet and touching story. The age gap between the MCs is big, 27 years, but they found a way to make it work because age isn't important when you find the one person that makes your life beautiful. The connection they shared from the beginning was so special and unique that it made my heart long for them to get together romantically. I loved how Paul just made his life goal to help Charlie, provide for him and make him happy. At first, he had his reasons to do so but not long after Charlie moved in, Paul's attraction towards the young man became everything he had always wanted and desired. He tried to keep his distance, but it was bound to happen. Once they accepted their feelings and acted on them, the book became a dream story full of love and deep feelings. I also enjoyed how Charlie blossomed thanks to Paul's support and became his true self. Having someone reinforcing his likes, tastes and personality meant the world to Charlie, as it's the only thing he had ever wanted: to be accepted. I also want to mention how everyone in Paul's life also accepted his relationship with the young man, because what his friends wanted for him was just to be happy. And Charlie did make Paul extremely happy. Overall, it was a lovely book that made me sigh and open my mind in certain aspects. I started the book thinking the age gap was too much, but after only a few chapters I realised that it did not matter at all. I can say this book has helped me be a better person, making me get rid of some prejudices and embrace love in all its forms.

ARC given for an honest review This has to be the biggest age-gap book I’ve read and I wondered if I would enjoy this book…Spoiler Alert! I absolutely enjoyed this story. I should have known better because I do enjoy this author’s writing! And she did it to me again. I teared up on this story too! I actually felt Paul’s and Charlie’s pain as the story was told. Mostly Paul's struggle because what he went through is what many have and still struggle with because of how they are raised and his decision he and his then wife made at the time was too costly. Broke my heart. I wanted to be mad but I couldn't because it's a real issue that still happens today and Mrs. Snow for me wrote it perfectly in my personal opinion. 🩵age-gap 🩵hurt/comfort 🩵bi-awakening 🩵first-time 🩵insta-love I will say the story seemed short so it felt a bit rushed but it didn’t take anything away, it just would have been even better if the timeline was longer IMO. I will continue to read more from this author!
Nothing about Paul wanting to help Charlie or his developing “feelings” after only 1 day, especially since he’s never even considered being into men, made sense. So I just could t get past that as everything just felt forced. I like the characters individually but there just needed to be a different way for them to have met and built a connection
This book will totally enthrall you into the world of Paul and Charlie. It is like nothing else exists when they are together. Charlie is such a sunshine character, but with snark, his character is totally loveable. Paul is such a sweet, gentle character and is totally confused about his feeling for Charlie. They fall into a comfortable relationship early that is insta-lust; with lots of steamy intimate moments. We know they both have darkness from past experiences and we can predict that Paul's past will catch up with him when he least expects it. It was refreshing to have an ex-wife on good terms with no derogatory comments. She and the rest of the secondary characters bought a lot more to the story. This has a HEA and I loved the ending, Charlie was at his best! I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
That was everything I’ve been looking for. A beautiful story about two broken people helping each other put the pieces back together and finding love along the way. This was so beautifully written. You could feel the emotions of both MCs. I especially love the build up.Holy cow that build up was felt! The smexy time was some of the Hawtest smexy I have ever read. It fire. Pure fire. I love how both MCs for flawed and they didn’t tip toe around it. This was such a sweet story.
I love the found family that was built, and that they loved and supported each other. Stayed up way too late reading this. Completely worth it!
This story kicked beat the crap out of me and then made me drive myself to A&E.
Joking.
But in all seriousness this was a pretty good book. It's an age gap, bi awakening, sloooooooow burn romance between Charlie and Paul, two men who are both learning to heal again from past trauma. There's an instant need to protect when Paul saves Charlie from a bunch of thugs in a back alley, and the theme of caretaking continues as Paul convinces Charlie to move in with him so he can keep an eye on the young man and make sure he's safe.
I thought the book was sweet up until the reveal of Paul's secret, which actually made me quite angry. I was upset to find out that the main character of a gay romance story had previously been so homophobic that he'd kicked his own son out for being gay, resulting in his son's death, but had then come out as gay himself. I don't know, that just didn't sit right with me. There are a lot of people in the LGBTQIA+ community who would have experienced the same things both Charlie and Paul's son did, so it just feels a bit uncomfortable to make that a plot point.
I was given an ARC in exchange for an honest review
This is an odd couple, bisexual awakening, age-gap, Daddy kink romance between a femme boy and his gallant rescuer. It’s laced with remorse, as Paul laments his behavior of years before, not accepting his dear son’s struggles, and the behavior that led his son to run–and later die. Paul has grieved those choices so long, having since changed his whole life and the faulty morals that guided his path in those days, as did his ex-wife. Both of them needed a lot of therapy, and some serious soul-searching, to make sense of life before and after their son disappeared. The fallout broke their marriage, and though they are friends now, it’s shaky when Paul’s ex learns about Charlie living with him–and Paul’s attraction to the much younger man.
My first thought reading through Until You was , this is a beautifully written story . Until you is an age gap romance with two beautiful slightly broken men who meet each other just at the right moment and I loved it .The story features a big age gap between the MCs with Paul being 46 and Charlie being 19 but the author wrote them to perfection and you can't help but fall in love with these two.
Charlie is one of those characters that I automatically fall in love with. Living in the street after being kicked out of home he should be jaded and angry at the world but I loved that despite his reservations when he first meets Paul he's more open with his feelings and frankly the sunshine to Paul's grumpiness. The chemistry between these two is amazing and it was a pleasure seeing them fall in love.
Paul was exactly what Charlie needed, he's a caretaker at heart and they way he indulged Charlie and got him to open up more and be exactly who he was, made me just love him more and softened my heart towards him after that reveal because I might have screamed a little and wanted to hit him (p.s this has more to do with my own trauma than who Paul is as a character😆).
Overally, this is an amazing story with awesome characters, that's beautifully written and if you're looking for a sweet, slightly angsty age gap romance novel then this is for you.
Felicity Snow is a new to me author. I read the author's interview in another author's newsletter and decided to check her out. Glad I did!
Until You is a heavy, but ultimately sweet contemporary (bi-awakening) MM romance novel with spice a bit later in the book (maybe 50% mark... but it's appropriate for the story and the MC's journey). If you're going in just for the spice, this one won't be for you.
There's past trauma, family pain and past family betrayal, but also so much love between homeless Charlie (19) and "Papa Bear" Paul (46). I went into this novel not knowing if I'd enjoy the large age gap. This trope isn't my normal thing, but the writing was good in the sample, so I ended up reading the entire novel via KU.
Charlie and Paul's love story wasn't painted in roses, but my god did Paul take sweet care of Charlie from the get-go. Like, my heart melted for Paul and how he took such good care of Charlie. Just doting on him and helping him get back on his feet. Paul's internal anguish for being attracted to Charlie felt so real. Paul never wanted to come across as a creep to Charlie, who previously had to deal with creeps in his life.
Charlie is a ray of sunshine who I want to hug and gab with in the shoe department of Macy's. :) Loved him, his personality, and his strength!
Felicity Snow is an author I plan to read more of. Recommend if you enjoy reading about heftier subjects (past trauma, mental anguish) within the MM romance genre. I felt the author handled these topics with care.
I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
When I heard the words "steamy age gap" featuring "a sassy femme boy twink" and a silver fox I was ready to read this immediately. Felicity was kind enough to send me an ARC and this didn't disappoint. I find Felicity's writing to be so seamless and this book was no exception.
Paul and Charlie are both broken men in different ways. The way they randomly meet - and their instant connection - sparks something greater between them and watching their love story blossom on the page was such a treat. This was the perfect blend of emotional and fluffy and I loved every second.
