This was one of the saddest story yet in the series. As one of their very own gets killed. The remaining eleven dragons are very mad and upset and they all want revenge for the killing of one.of their very own. They will stop at nothing till the Shen Serpent that killed him gets killed by their hands.
Lleau is out the get revenge for the fallen Dragon and will do anything to get it not until he meets Shanna Richard. I liked shanna from the very beginning but by the end of the book I loved her she is a badass character and is a great match for Lleau and is exactly what he needs.
I loved the way this author writes her characters their very strong and independent. I Cant wait into continue on to the rest of the series they get better and better with every book.

OMG. The pain and challenges the dragons are going through are increasing as I continue to read these books. One of them is dead. A lot of them are hurting. Lleau is out for revenge and will do anything to get it.....until. The author continues to create power characters who meet in unique ways. Will love continue to conquer all? On to the next one!!!!

Be Still My Heart
I’m totally binge reading this series from start to finish! I’m a teacher and recognize all the elements of exquisite fantasy writing with this author. Her attention to detail and character and plot development tug me right into this world. I enjoy all of the couples and I have a particular Jones for sexy redheads so Lleau is my book boyfriend du jour. Plus, I love his sense of honor, humor, and that he’s a foodie. Yum on all levels! Lleau and Shanna (who is also an original adrenaline junkie) seem like a real life couple to me.

Rewrite??
Honestly... Shanna is a pure D B**** . I didn’t like her at any point in this book. There’s a difference between being a strong woman & being a B****. She’s a B 💁🏾♀️ I kept reading for the story but she can go.

Awesome and sizzling hot!!!!
the world the author created is beautiful and deadly. the dragons and their counterparts are stimulating in their own way. each story keeps getting better and better with each read . I highly recommend this series.
