I’m a USA Today bestselling author, and I’ve sold over 100 novels. Yes, 100! Needless to say, I write a lot. I’ve had the honor of receiving the Booksellers' Best Award for romantic suspense, the Romantic Times Reviewers' Choice Award, and I was a finalist for the Rita. I love hearing from readers, and you can contact me through my webpage at: www.deloresfossen.com.
I had to make a compromise because I couldn't rate a 300 or 400 page book the same as a much smaller book. That just didn't seem fair and every book I really liked would get the 5 star treatment. The compromise I decided on is that a 3 on a small book would be like rating a much longer book a 5. So when you see a 3 star rating for this book just know that I really enjoyed it.
Stork Alert by Delores Fossen is an emotional, heart-thumping romantic suspense that kept me hooked until the very last page. The plot centers around Kelly Manning, who fears her baby was switched at birth — and when she meets Nick Lattimer, a rich, powerful man, he could be her only hope. But someone dangerous is out there, threatening everything.

Very interesting. After reading a couple chapters I gave up quit reading. After reading another book I came back to this one and couldn't put it down. I read the rest of the book. I loved it. Kept me guessing. I recommend it to anyone.
There’s nothing wrong with how this author writes, I just find it extremely boring—I have to beg myself to finish just one more page and be done with this series.
Every time I read one of these books I think: Wow it can get worse. The plot was dismal. The characters were very one dimensional and if I hear "It wasn't just about the sex" in another book ... I won't be able to stop myself laughing. Do I sound pompous? Why do I keep reading these? Have I become inured to romance?
Not a bad little short story. Especially for 99 cents. There is a lot of guns in this book. Wasn't expecting that. But they are needed. I liked the fact that there wasn't a lot of conflict between Nick and Kelly. The conflict was external. There is a twist I did not expect, but you do get your HEA.
