I was very excited to read this book. I don't usually read "How to's" but this one was great. As a full time studio photographer it was nice to have some perspective put on he challenges in photographing horses. Hopefully I will be able to apply some of what I have learned to get better pictures of my own herd.
The book was well written and easy to understand. I think even with no photography experience this book would set you on the correct path to getting great photos of your horses.

No love for this book. It makes assumptions that anyone photographing horses is a complete newbie and has no sense of what a great photograph of these magnificent beasts is.
I was so disappointed not only with the book - which I've been waiting months to read - but the images were mediocre at best. I expected so much more.
