I can't wait to read this again and again. The characters are so realistic and I need to have 4 men panting to get their hands on me after reading this book.

The writing is compelling and kept me up reading the whole book at one time, despite needing to go to sleep. I can't wait to read all KC Crowne's books.

Problems, troubles, and so much more … arising from left, right, and center …

The plot is quite fast paced, and there are turns in it when you just don‘t expect them, so the crime story is keeping you on your feet at all time …
The love story is super varied, as all the four guys are so different, but all in all they make up the ‘perfect love’ for this heroine.

I found this reverse harem romance to be sweet, steamy and so fun to read. When Winona moves into her brother's place while he is away, she didn't expect to be living with 4 guys! Feeling develop as their chemistry sizzles, and pretty soon they can't keep their hands to themselves. When a past enemy enters their lives, the men must protect Winona. Winona is such a sweetheart and the Asher, Tank, Eddie and Richard are totally swoon-worthy! I thought this book was entertaining and enjoyable to read.

KC CROWNE has written a 5-star book. This is the story about Winona, Asher, Tank, Eddie, and Richard. Winona has left her boyfriend Chet after he gets mad and hits her in the face and gives her a black eye. She calls her brother William to come and get her. He was on his way out of town for a business meeting and had to cancel his flight. When he gets to her, she tells him what happened and he tells her that she would stay at his house. He said that he would not be there with her since he was going to be out of town for a month but she would not be there alone. His buddies from his team when he was in the Marines were there for a rest. Asher, Tank, Eddie, and Richard had just gotten back from a mission that went wrong. When Winona and William get to his house, she meets the guys and there is an attraction to them all. The guys are not getting alone because Richard thinks that someone sold them out on the mission and a few of their team members were killed. Richard thinks that Asher's grandfather, their General was the one who sold them out since he was the one who gave them the mission and it was off the books. William leaves but not before he asked the guys to watch over Winona. Winona needs to go and get the rest of her things from the apartment. The guys go with her and Chet is there. He starts to give her a hard time and when she doesn't go back to him, he tells her that he is going to kill himself. Eddie and Richard stay with Chet until the police get there. Asher and Tank take Winona home. When they get there, she thinks about something Chet had said. She decides to see if Asher and Tank will take her up on her suggestion of them being together. They do and take her to her room. After they are done, she said something about wanting Eddie and Richard. Asher said that they would talk to them. When Eddie and Richard get home, Eddie finds them together. Richard is not ready to be with her since he told William that they would watch over her. Things happen when Winona and Eddie go for a walk. Someone shots at them. Richard gets information from Denise, the General's assistant that proves that he was the one who sold them out. Winona and Eddie comes in and he tells them what happened and he said they had to leave. They get in the car and whoever is after them follows them. Richard tells them they have to go to get Denise since she is the one who got him the information. They get to Denise's house and she is being held hostage. They guys take care of the bad guys and get her out. Once they get somewhere safe, she shows them what she had. Asher can't believe that his grandfather is the one behind what happened and that he is after the four of them. Things do not go well for them when Asher gets a message from his grandfather and it shows that he has William. Winona wants to go after William but they guys tell her that they need a plan. Tank tells them they need to go to his grandmother's farm. Once there, Asher and Richard get into it over Asher's grandfather. Asher wants time to talk to him but Richard tells him it won't do any good. Asher goes to talk to his grandfather, without letting the others know. When they find out what he has done they go after him. This leaves Winona and Tank's grandmother Geraldine alone. The bad guys come after Winona when the guys leave. She is out of the house with Geraldine doing things around the farm. When they go back to the house, it is on fire. Winona tells her they have to get out of there. The guys come back to the house and find it on fire. They see the bad guys but get caught. Winona sees what is going on and follows the vehicle that have the guys. She goes after them and when they stop, it is at a warehouse. She goes in and sees the guys tied up. She makes a phone call to Asher's phone and wants to talk to the General. She tells him that she has copies of all the emails from him and if he doesn't let William and the guys go, she will send them all to reporters for the major stations. Winona knows she has to get out of there so that she can save the guys but the General's men come after her. They end up catching her and take her back to the General. Somehow the guys get lose and when the time is right, they go after the General and his men. The General is caught and taken to a military jail. They all think it is over but it isn't. Somehow the General gets Winona again but this time she is the one in trouble. The General uses her as bait to get the guys. She is in a van rigged up as a bomb. She gets it away from the crowd and runs it into the water. The guys find her and when the van hit the water, they go in after her.
Will Winona and the guys stay together ?
Will things with the General be over for good now?
This was a wonderful book and I would recommend it to anyone.

Going From Pain To Pleasure -
When Winona escaped her abusive ex-boyfriend, the last thing on her mind was embarking a new relationship. However, spending time with the four gorgeous alpha protectors, who were her older brother’s best friend’s and army brothers, made her feel safe and reconsider. Unfortunately, she soon found herself embroiled in what could only be described as an off the books military operation, that led them on a danger filled journey, with near fatal consequences.

Whilst Winona, Asher, Tank, Eddie, and Richard were trying to navigate the chaotic events that were plaguing their lives, they discovered that the perpetrator of their problems was none other than Asher’s grandfather. This was problematic in the sense that they couldn’t arrive at a consensus of how to deal with him, which led to their lives being endangered. Lucky, they were able to work together to not only resolve the conflict, but also get the opportunity to have a happy life together.

This was a really captivating story, with lots of steamy and action-packed moments, that had me totally engrossed. I found it difficult to take any breaks as I was sitting on the edge of my seat rooting for them to succeed in their endeavours. This is a book I will definitely be happy to recommend.

This was a hot little reverse harem romance. Winona is just gotten smacked around by her boyfriend, she leaves him, her brother takes her to his place to stay and there are 4 of his teammates from the military staying for a month or so. They agree to take care of her and watch her since her brother has to travel. They help her disentangle from the Ex-boyfriend and then their attraction hits a breaking point and its all hands in, hearts too! They have to navigate a plot to knock off their team, who sold them out, how they will tell her brother William and how they can make their relationship work. HEA with may O's involved.

Great forbidden love story that has you glued from start to finish. After escaping from her violent boyfriend Chet her brother William tells her to stay at his house, 4 of his military brothers are staying there for a while but as he will be working away they will look after her. Whilst the guys are keeping her safe from Chet they also get closer to her & eventually give into the sexual chemistry the 5 if them all feel. They guys are trying to find out was responsible for their last mission going wrong which leads them to danger, betrayal, kidnapping & hoping they can save the ones they love.
Definitely recommend this book.

This was a great read as all books by K.C. Crowne are. The story line is nothing new but I really enjoyed all of the characters. Winona has it rough with her boyfriend and her brother William comes to the rescue. Along with 4 handsome Marines. On leave and staying with William a fellow Marine. Richard, Asher, Eddie and Tank find Winona and see her as more than their friends little sister. I love that the FMC is strong willed and fights for what she wants. And her men are strong and oh so protective.

I volunteered to read this ARC for an honest review. I enjoyed this story about Winona, Richard, Asher, Tank and Eddie. The guys are Marines and served with her brother William. The are currently on leave healing after a mission gone bad. Winona needs a place to crash after her boyfriend of 4 years decides to get violent with her. The guys swear to protect her. But they never planned on having their hearts stolen by her. They develop an unconventional relationship by it works for them. When danger comes calling, they all work together to keep each other safe.

These men sure had a big job bringing the truth to light and keeping everyone safe. So many hot scenes with the guys, too, made me remember that I hadn't read a reverse harem story in a pretty long time. She stays and his four marine friends are staying as well while on leave so he asks them to watch over her. Trouble is always coming for them as first they deal with her ex, then the mission that went wrong, the general and his sell out, kidnapping, rescues, double crosses, and more. The heat among the group keeps getting hotter the more they spend time together. Totally enjoyed this story and could not put it down.

Her Independence Day (Forbidden Reverse Harems)

I love to read books with polyamory in them. Add to that a really action packed plot that kept you on the edge of your seat and at other moments the whole scene was filled with polyamorous erotica. The 4 Marines that fall in love with Win are wonderful, protective men. Eddie, Asher, Tank and Richard. Her brother William does have some issues with this but since these men continually put their own life on the line for Win's and vice-versa.
I absolutely loved this love story. I binged it this story!!!

Winona lets her brother know she is happy to stay there with them while he is away on business. When they discover that Win is happy to be with all four of them their lives change but there is fallout from their last mission that puts all of them at risk, one none of them may come out alive from when the culprit is revealed. Full of action, suspense, danger and risk with a fair amount of heat and steam, this book has it all and you will not want to put it down.

They are all smitten with each other, yet they were told not to cross that line. On top of that there are issues with a past op with the four military men and that is putting Win in the cross fire.

This is a sweet, yet steamy RH contemporary romance that involved hot military men that love to share their woman.

This is a sizzling hot story, when Winona needs help from her brother to get away from her abusive ex, she doesn’t count on falling for four other men.

A really good storyline with plenty of action and drama with lots of heat! I liked all the characters and all the men have different personalities but all want to protect Winona.

I would recommend this book to those who like a little romantic suspense with a reverse harem twist. I am definitely going to read more from this author!.

It's beautifully written with world building characters and storyline that grabs your attention from start and keeps you hooked, invested and turning the pages until the end. A reverse harem romance, age gap trope story, opposite attract story, insta-lust, military romance, filled with spice, steam, lust, enemies, anger, revenge, betrayal, retaliation, action packed, unexpected twists and turns, drama, physical abuse, pain, hurt, forbidden relationships, adventure, pleasure, sex and sin, kidnapping, friendship, threats, abuse, double-cross, lies, deception danger, hostage, secret pregnancy, treason, suspense, mystery, anger, angst, traitor, tension, emotions, taboo, brother's friends relationship, lust, passion and love.
Winona has had it with her boyfriend Chet after years of physical abuse. She's had enough this time after got upset slap her in the face leaving a black eye. She called her brother William whose a marine to come and get her. William was on his way out of town for some important business, but he couldn't leave without helping his sister. He had rescheduled his meeting and cancel his flight. She told her brother what had occurred between her and Chet when he got to her apartment, and that is when he said that he was taking her to his place. However, he let her know that she wouldn't be alone at his house because he had four of his marines buddies from his team Tank, Asher, Eddie, and Richard were all staying at his house. William will be gone for a month.
As soon as Winona meet the guys it was an instant attraction between all of them. But there was tension amongst the men because Richard believes that someone as betrayed them on their mission causing them to lose some of their men. He believes that Asher's grandfather their General is the culprit/traitor. Because it was an off the mission that no one else was privy to but him. William asked the guys if they could look after his sister in his absence. Winona, Tank and Asher succumb to their attraction she wanted the other guys to join in but they're reluctant because they're friends with William and should looking out for his sister. Eddie and Winona went out walking to clear their heads and was shot at from there on the story takes a turn to an high-octane action, rollercoaster ride that will keep you guessing on edge of your seat until the end.
There's so many things going on in story on multiple fronts with General as the mastermind. Richard finally has his prove that it was the General who betrayed them after he received a phone call from the General's assistant with the prove. But her life was also in danger so they had to get to her and the evidence before the General discovered that she had it. William has been was abducted by the General they to get him but Winona was unprotected causing her to be abducted as well. I will leave here get your copy today and find out if these five their HEA, and if the General gets his comeuppance.

This was surprisingly good. I must admit that this is the first reverse harem story that I’ve read that wasn’t in the omegaverse. The four active service military men intimate with their best friend’s sister was definitely spicy but tastefully executed. Winona Wren has just been punched in the face by her ex BF and seeks safe harbor with her brother William at their parents’ lake house. William’s brothers-in-arms are on sabbatical after a failed mission. They’re arguing about what/who sabotaged their secret mission after William invited them there, when Wren meets them. They all appreciate the young woman that they knew as William’s little sister. Wren discerns an intensity in their gaze upon introductions.

Asher Grey - tall, with brown hair and eyes, his grandfather sent them on mission
Tank (aka, Joseph Quill). - blonde hair, blue eyed Alabaman, built like a tank (hence the nickname), wounded from mission with shrapnel in his arm
Eddie (Edward Luna) - black hair and eyes, suffering from PTSD
Richard Wilder - grey streaked brown hair with green eyes, he suspects Asher’s GF, Colonel George Grey for compromising the very mission he sent them on.

Collectively the tall, muscular, handsome group are outraged for Wren’s abuse.
Wren is left alone with them at the lake house, after William, extracting a promise from his friends to protect Wren, leaves for a job in Seattle. Find out what happens between all five romantically, while simultaneously they try to solve the mystery of their sabotaged mission. Crowne delivers an action packed, romantically appealing story despite the 4-1 ratio. They share secrets, thrills, and kisses. A very good read, yet different from the author’s usual genre. I'm torn between a 1 star and 2 star here. I bumped it to two because the story had potential. Unfortunately, there were too many things that were too unrealistic for me as a reader.

Spoilers ahead:

We're supposed to believe that a woman who were just beaten by her live-in boyfriend is going to want to be around 4 very large men with military training who she doesn't know well? Not only be around them but basically immediately decide she wants to sleep with all of them? That stretches the realms of reality quite a bit.

Beyond that, don't really want to shame the female protagonist, but there was not enough relationship building to justify her wanting to sleep with one after the other after the other. Why? Because they were cute? Good bodies? What?

Then, we get to the baby. She doesn't want to know who the father is. Okay. Here's the thing. How does she know it wasn't her violent ex's baby? The book takes place over a fairly short length of time, so that is certainly within the realm of possibility. Also, not to put too fine a point on it, but how many women do you know who sleep with that many men at once and don't think about protection? Especially since she was so worried about how her brother was going to take it? Just not believable. Also wasn't believable that all of those alpha men wouldn't want to know who the father was.

Then, the military stuff. If an author is going to include military information, it needs to be more accurate and, again, believable. There really wasn't anything believable about the military information. Plus, we're supposed to believe that a General who basically committed treason against the country was going to be able to walk out of military prison because he has "friends"? Really?



Now that I think it over, this is definitely a 1-star for me.

Asher, Tank, Eddie, and Richard were Marines that had just returned from a mission where something had gone terribly wrong. Apparently, someone had sold them out along the line causing them to loose three good men from their team. These four were laying low for awhile at a previous comrade's home. When William had rushed out to get his sister, Winona. Upon their return she had a black eye from her now ex-boyfriend where they had gotten into a disagreement, and he hit her. As soon as he was asleep, she wasted no time leaving him behind. William took her back to the lake house where the guys were, since he was going out of town for several weeks asking them to take care of her. They all had an attraction for her as she had for each of them. There was tension between the guys regarding the past mission in who may be responsible for selling them out. Some believed it was their commanding officer which was Asher's grandfather. They soon ended up on the run for their lives. Hang on to your seat for this fast moving action packed, suspense filled mystery with lots of intrigue and some romance as the hunted become the hunters to track down the traitor to put him behind bars permanently. You do not want to miss this one.

This story was full of excitement from the very first chapter. Winona gets more than she bargained for when she leaves her abusive boyfriend to go stay with her brother. Her brother is there for her but has a business trip she insists he doesn’t miss. Instead of being focused on the uncertain turn her life has taken, she finds herself surrounded by 4 of her brother’s military buddies who are trying to recover from a mission gone wrong. Asher, Eddie, Tank & Richard are all blown away by an instant connection to Winona, and she finds herself feeling the same way. Unfortunately, instead of being able to explore those feelings, they find themselves caught up in a life or death mystery that followed them back from their last mission. Will they be able to figure out who wants them out of the picture while trying to keep Winona safe? Have they all found each other only to be ripped apart before they can begin something amazing? You won’t regret reading this non-stop entertaining RH story! Full of action, danger, mystery, romance, chemistry, and lots of heat 🔥❤️ Grab the extended epilogue also 😉

Action packed romance!

The first non-fantasy RH I’ve actually enjoyed! Here’s a quick recap and my two cents.

Quick recap:

Winona breaks up with her boyfriend after he hits her. She runs to her brother for help recovering. Her brother is headed out of town, but his 4 military brothers are staying at his house and promise to look after her. Unfortunately, things aren’t as safe at the lake house as they assumed.

My two cents:

This was a super quick action packed book! It keeps you engaged the whole time and you can’t wait to finish it. Luckily it ends with a sweet happily ever after. 😊

There are a few sex scenes. There moderately spicy. But nothing too crazy. No MM action. There are some group scenes, but even those are mild - fairly vanilla.

Overall, this reads like a young adult book except it has the sex scenes. I personally like my sex scenes a little spicier in RH series. But it was nice having the action scenes of them being abducted/hunted.

If you like thriller RH reads, this one is pretty good. Since it’s a quick read, it’s definitely worth a chance. I hope you give it a try! Happy reading y’all!!
