USA Today Bestselling author Elle Thorpe is the author of over thirty romance titles, including Amazon top ten books, Start a War and Locked Up Liars. She is best known for her dark reverse harems, and sexy small town romances.
When she's not writing, she's probably out on her family's alpaca farm in rural Australia.
This book had so much gone on, but what really caught my attention was how Rebel appeared to be quite self-centered. She often seemed so preoccupied with her own challenges that she neglected the people around her who were also dealing with their own issues. I did see some character development in her by the end, but there were still moments when she just got on my nerves…
What can I tell you about Fang, only that my love for him has never wavered…I mean come on what man has ever said to himself hey let me share the love of my life with someone else.
Kian and Vaughn's bond took a while to grow, yet it was absolutely incredible to witness them finally open up to each other.
Regarding Celeb, I'm not sure if the author intended to make him more relatable by revealing some of his struggles with his father, but I personally think he was just a piece of scum on this planet.
It was lovely that War, Hayden, Bliss, and Kara were given their own chapters as well.
To be honest, the resolution of the poisoning murder mystery was a bit underwhelming. I think a major factor for this is that it was overshadowed by the focus on Caleb. It seemed like we lacked enough buildup, especially since the clues were intertwined with Bliss.... Seriously, three books in and the author couldn't spend more time on the murders? It really felt like an afterthought, as if she prioritized the steamy scenes over everything else.
Rebel Heart is book three in the third and final book in the Saint View Rebels trilogy by Elle Thorpe. OH MY GOSH!!! This book!! So many twists and turns. So many swoons. So much EVERYTHING! I do want to say that if you are new to the Saint View Universe, these trilogies can be read out of order. BUT, they are better read in order. I skipped the first Saint View High trilogy and started with the Saint View Prison trilogy. Rebel, the heroine of this series is introduced in Saint View Psychos so I would recommend at least reading that one first.
There is so much in this final book. And I loved getting the points of view of so many characters. There were so many shocking twists and turns I never expected! These characters have grown so much, both individually and as a group. And my love for Fang has never wavered! We also really get to know Kara, the heroine of the next trilogy, Saint View Slayers vs. Sinners along with a chapter that teases us with a hint of Kara’s new life. That was so devious of this author.
There isn’t a whole lot more I can say because I don’t want to spoil anything. You just need to experience this on your own. I couldn’t think about anything else but these characters while I was reading these. Now I need to take a minute and breathe before I dive into Kara’s books. If you haven’t read this author, I can’t say enough that you’re missing out. These books are amazing.
I am not going to do a little blurb for this one because it's the last in the series and I feel like if you reached up until now then you know. You know that ELLE THORPE DOES NOT MISS!! Every single Saint View series is a banger and I am willing to go to bat for this universe!! And Kara, Hayden, Hawk and *mystery character* are next??? I MEAN COME THE F ON!!! Legit so excited for their book especially after that epilogue!! I had to get that part out there first because whew butterflies (chills, legit chills (in a good way)). I mean Hawk was making me cackle half of the book so I can’t wait!
"I think I'm gonna let you suffer a little bit, just to keep it fresh in your head what a dumbass you are."
On to "Rebel Heart" - this was the perfect ending imo to Rebel and her family. And Caleb oh thank fuck. That MF ending was everything. I mean at the construction site. ICONIC PEOPLE 👏👏👏 And having everyone around for that legit cried happy tears it was so good and badass!!
"The wolf needed to die. There was no way around that. There never had been. He needed to join his friend six feet under in a graveyard."
Gonna go through the guys quickly but shoutout to Rebel for once again being the badass bitch that she is because she just is. No cap. No joke. Nothing. She is badass. And her favorite band being Paramore!! I mean talk about walking the walk (legit don't if that makes sense but it does to me so we're good!!)
"You saw them, right? How hot they are together? I get to be in the middle of that."
Also before I move onto the guys. The Bliss, War, Vincent/Scythe, and Nash tidbits were everything!! I love them! My favorites from the universe and I'm so happy they were there!
"But she was their queen, and they followed her lead without question."
We have Fang. Constantly proving that no matter what he will crawl through broken glass to bring Rebel a tissue from the bathroom. That amount of commitment people! He is that devoted, that in love, he is that guy! And I love him for it literal goals. He will give Rebel anything and everything she asks for (as will the rest of the guys don't get me wrong but Fang….)
"She would always be enough. She always had been everything I ever wanted."
"Because I was never going to be able to say no to that woman. I never wanted to."
Then we have Kian. Sweet Kian. The storyline for him in this one was a little heartbreaking for a sec. I did shed a tear not going to lie to you but he's still so adorable. Legit a golden retriever boyfriend with such a wicked tongue but I mean we have to don’t we?
"That's it. Take what you need."
"We were waiting for you, Little Demon. You were the missing piece."
And then we have Vaughn. The way he stood up to his mom. Oh god that woman could piss me off something fierce. She was something I will give her that. I will be staying away from cupcakes for the near future I think and that woman is to blame! But Vaughn standing up for Kian, Fang and Rebel was everything!! And this line just cemented it imo 🤣🤣
"Things I knew for sure I loved Rebel. I loved Kian. And Fang was okay."
And finally I would just like to give a shout out for the cement trucks out there! Doing the lords work! I thank you for your service.
"Sins didn't go unpunished in this world. Neither did Sinners."
🎶 "BADDER" - emlyn 🎶 "this is how I learn to say no" - EMELINE 🎶 "Hayloft" - Mother Mother 🎶 "happier than ever" - loveless 🎶 "You've Created a Monster" - Bohnes 🎶 "Bite Me" - Avril Lavigne 🎶 "Us and Pigs" - SOFIA ISELLA 🎶 "Psycho" - Taylor Acorn 🎶 "Don't Call Me Angel" - Miley Cyrus, Ariana Grande, Lana Del Ray 🎶 "Aimed to Kill" - Jade LeMac 🎶 "Good Enough" - Little Mix 🎶 "AMERICAN HORROR SHOW" - SNOW WIFE 🎶 "Sorry About Your Parents" - Icon For Hire 🎶 "One More Shot" - CIL 🎶 "Little Girl Gone" - CHINCHILLA 🎶 "Bitches These Days" - Olivia O'Brien 🎶 "Stockholm Syndrome" - One Direction 🎶 "You Call Me a Bitch Like It's a Bad Thing" - Halestorm 🎶 "A Little Party Never Killed Nobody" - Fergie, Q-Tip, GoonRock 🎶 "Are You Scared of Me Yet?" - Daisy Grenade 🎶 "Irresistible" - Fall Out Boy, Demi Lovato 🎶 "Ignorance" - Paramore 🎶 "Misery Business" - Paramore 🎶 "(You Drive Me) Crazy" - Britney Spears 🎶 "FUNERAL" - NEONI 🎶 "Fighter" - Christina Aguilera 🎶 "Girl Like Me" - Dove Cameron 🎶 "the apology I'll never receive" - RORY 🎶 "Vendetta" - UNSECRET, Krigare 🎶 "Sue Me" - Sabrina Carpenter 🎶 "Heaven Angel" - THE DRIVER ERA
And of course Elle Thorpe had to go all out with the spice for this and it was so good!! I mean the chocolate… 😏😏😏
"Fuck, you look beautiful on your knees like that."
"Naked, Pix. Now. Then turn around and hold on to the kitchen counter."
This dragged on for too long and I found myself skimming so much of this third book just to finish the trilogy. Even the spicy bits cause I just wanted to find out how the plots all resolved already. The whole Caleb thing went on for too long and honestly just needed to resolve way earlier.
Oh my God, I loved every second of this trilogy! Another favorite Saint View trilogy for my list! Also, I've been waiting 6 books for Caleb's finally and it did not disappoint, Rebel is a badass and he deserved everything he got, and worse even, I would've put Scythe on him to have some fun first hahaha. Anyway, this was an amazing trilogy, as always, and now I can't wait to read Kara's story I'm so curious about who her mystery man will be, that epilogue left me crazy and wanting her books even more!
Rebel Heart is the 3rd and final book in the Saint View Rebels series by Elle Thorpe. What an amazing end to the series. Full of action, tasty spice and more importantly, the trash was taken out! I really enjoyed the plot twists and how everything came together and CEMENTED the perfect ending. One of the great things about Elle Thorpe books is the comedy relief. I find myself giggling often! There hasn’t been a main character in Elle’s books that I haven’t loved, Rebels is no exception.
The Rebel Heart audiobook is narrated in duet by Michelle Sparks, Troy Duran, Michael Gallagher and Gregory Salinas. Listening to this series in audiobook is such a gift. The journey is so much sweeter. Each narrator hit it out of the park with how emotional, expressive and just perfect their performance was. I’m very thankful to Gregory and how he makes the character of Caleb so distinctive. I didn’t find any hint of Caleb in the other characters he narrated. Love him for that.
Elle Thorpe has become a must read author for me! I absolutely love the universe she has created with all the Saint View and Sinner Characters!
Last year, I fell in love with her Saint View Psycho's series. And I have followed this series ever since!
The Rebel Series was as incredible as all the rest! And she definitely didn't disappoint. If you've been following this series from the beginning you know how excited I got when I saw that not only did Rebel and her guys have POV chapters, but Bliss and some of her guys did too! As well as a few side characters that I'm hoping get their own stories very soon!

I’d found the pieces of my heart amongst revenge and obsession, fear, and greed. I’d picked them up, sewn them together, and made them mine.
I absolutely loved the push and pull between Vaughn and Kian and their back story! It was so sweet and perfect!
Fang was loyal from the very beginning and deserved his HEA with all of them!
The book was perfect and I don't have any complaints other than I wish Caleb could have died many books ago 🤣
And once again my favorite book boyfriend made an appearance a few times in this book! Vincent/Scythe will forever have my heart! “If only all the bodies I buried came with pre-dug graves. Damn, wouldn’t that be sweet? Seriously, Rebel. You might be my new favorite killer. So considerate.”

Holy freaking cannoli. I have been waiting SOOOOO long for this trilogy to be completed so I could finally dig in... your girl here can not handle the emotional turmoil of these massive cliffhangers, so, alas, I had to wait for all 3 to be done.
But when I tell you I am going to go INSANE for Kara's book.... INSAAAAANEEE. I could not handle the cliffhangers coming into Rebel's, and now the one going into Kara's is going to kill me, too. It's going to be such a long wait until the next 3 books are out, and yet, I will manage. You kill me so sweetly, Thorpe. 😭
I'm finally all caught up on SV books and foaming at the mouth for future releases. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I really enjoyed seeing Rebel finally get her HEA! Over the series, I’ve had mixed emotions about the guys but ultimately I love Rebel and Fang lol so I’m happy about them being happy.
Kian and Vaughn… could have taken or left them. Probably would’ve left them. I understand the dynamics of the foursome but I still didn’t like these two throughout the story.
Overall I liked this trilogy. Caleb was despicable but laughable at the same time as the antagonist. I’m happy he’s finally completely out of the picture! I do feel like it meandered a lot by including chapters of the next trilogy’s characters POVs. I get that these trilogies are interconnected because of how close everyone in Saint View is apparently but eh… I didn’t love that.
⭐⭐⭐⭐ Loved it! Would recommend, almost perfect and likely would reread.
Okay so this one was good but I felt like this dragged and was dying for answers I wasn't getting. Of course there is always a baby but thats okay. I still feel like I didn't get the answer BUT I did enjoy this a lot.
Pros: Caleb getting the ending he deserves. If he had outlived the story, I would’ve been so pissed. The way he went out was satisfying.
The HEA. I’ve never read an Elle Thorpe book, so as much as I hoped for it, I couldn’t be sure. So glad that after three books of torture and trauma, there was joy. Thorpe drops obvious hints throughout to how the Rebel+Fang+Kian+Vaughn story will resolve, I even guessed the surprise reveal. But it was still sweet!
Resolution to the murder mystery. Loose threads were wrapped up, which is good. But it’s pretty obvious who the killer was, especially throughout this book. There are some obvious hints.
Rebel and Vaughn realizing that they were shitty people and especially shitty to Kian. They needed the wake up call SO BAD.
Vaughn being out and comfortable in his bisexuality. He stops running and embraces who he is, and I love that.
Vaughn and Kian working things out. Honestly, this was surprising to me. I hoped they would figure it out, but it could’ve gone the other way, too. I do hate that they need Rebel to make their relationship work. An argument could be made that they love Rebel more than they love each other, and the only reason Vaughn and Kian work is because they want to make Rebel happy.
Cons:
Ending the book with an epilogue on Kara. I know how cults are, and I hate that she’s feeling like she found safety all for another disgusting man to prey on her. I hoped that Hayden would come and whisk her away before anything bad could happen, but no. I know Kara’s story is coming, but I would’ve loved to have ended the story with peace for all, even for a little while.
A new big bad that’s worse than the last. It’s like working up to fight the final boss in a video game. Or how Marvel worked up to the big fight against Thanos in “Endgame”. Honestly feels like all of these characters are going to come together to take on the final boss, but where does it end?! With them fighting all the way to the root of evil in Saint View?
Again, there’s so much to go through. Layers on layers. Keep the smut, simplify the story.
As much as I’d love to see Kara and Hayden happy, I don’t think I can handle another Thorpe book. I didn’t even mind the Why Choose or the poly aspects, the story is just too much to work through.
You know as soon as you pick up a SV book you’re in for some emotional heartache, quality badassery and banter that will have you grinning at the pages. Rebel and her guys are no exception. They brought all of that to new levels.
Despite the issues they faced within the beginning of the trilogy I really felt like this was the most comfortable and sturdy of the SV relationships. Maybe it had something to do with Fangs unwavering devotion to Rebel and her need to surround herself with people to love.
Also can we talk about the PLOT TWISTS for just a sec. I had an inkling throughout the books but damn it didn’t make it hurt any less in the end.
This was such an intense and dramatic end to the SVR trilogy. And while it ended on a more than happy note, that bonus epilogue has me SHOOK.
I’m sorry I’m not sorry… I can’t stand it when such strongly opposed to procreation MC’s have an ending or epilogue that ends with them being doting partners to their now pregnant SO (whom was also against procreation) want to live happily ever after 🦄 🦋 🌈
Sure! What happened to the dude’s wife? What happened with the mental health after killing a person in cold blood? And everyone who knows all of the things bc the FMC can’t think before she speaks?!
Get real. 🤢🤮
The author killed the whole series with the ending.
The only reason why I’m rating this better than I should is because it was really good until the last 10% of this book. What a cop out.
It was the most boring generic ending that every rushed author defaults to when almost missing a deadline. It’s a shame. This could have been so much better.

This was officially my least favorite trilogy of the series. Sad to say since I was super stoked for them. The last three trilogy’s I devoured within a day… this one I mostly finished reading to figure out if my guess from the first like 4 chapters of the first book was right (which it was). I knew who the killer was the entire time cause it was blatantly obvious, I just wanted to know if I’d get some weird twist and in actuality it was something else… but nope.
There was also soo much foreshadowing for the next trilogy packed into the last couple books that I am excited to read Kara’s story, but I’m really hoping it doesn’t turn out like this where it’s more of a set-up for the next books.
While I feel like we just started our journey with Rebel and her guys we have already reached it's conclusion. Oh, what an end it is!!!! Elle Thorpe did such a wonderful job wrapping up all the mysteries in this trilogy. Our villains get what they deserve. We get our happily ever after. We get a glimpse at the next trilogy in the Saint View world!!!
This book was everything I could have hoped for for Rebel and her guys!!!
DNF at 78% I’m so disappointed with this one. Another unplanned pregnancy trope after the Psychos one.
This time it made zero sense and definitely ruined it for me. For being so uncertain about wanting kids yet not one of them made sure to take precautions? Especially after Rebel’s talk with Bliss and her saying she wasn’t sure she wanted kids, but made no effort to take contraception? Yeah not for me.

What a fantastic ending to this trilogy and that bonus epilogue was also a great read. I'm sad to see Rebel and her men end but as per past characters I am sure we will see them pop up in future books.
This was tooooo long and they added entirely too many new characters!!! This was boring and it dragged on. Then the bad guys got off so easy. After all they did it should have been dragged out better in that regard I’m disappointed in it.
I Love Love LOVE all of these precious Saint View books. I have suspicions and ideas throughout the whole series, but I never really know for sure who done it until it's actually revealed. There are so many fakeouts that turn out to not be fakeouts, or there's so many threats and bad things happening that you want to think it's all separate or maybe all connected. Writing like this keeps me guessing to the very end every time.
Oh my god, I'm so glad Caleb is dead and that he suffocated and burned alive until he stopped breathing. That asshole deserved high intensity torture. He ruined so many lives for absolutely no reason. Once again, I hated that he got any POV chapters because, seriously, who wants to be in the mind of that creep. But there won't be any more after this, and I am overjoyed.
I love Rebel so much. I loved her in Saint View Psychos, and I will love her forever. I'm so glad we got a series and a happy ending for her. We might see her in Kara's books, but I pray to the gods that nothing more happens to mess up her life like this series did. Bliss, too, deserves for her men to bubble wrap and stay gunshot free.
Fraternal twins with Two Baby Daddies?!?!?! YESYESYESYESYESYES!!! I LOVE IT SO MUCH!!!! I'm pretty sure that means the odd one out will call exclusive rights on the third baby if they want one. It's only fair, right?
The Luca Guerra situation is still stressing me out, cuz that's a huge problem for Saint View, and I'm so committed to this world, it feels like I'm one of them. There's no more story yet, so I'm just going to be sitting here waiting for MORE!!!
The teaser for Kara's story gives me hope for Hayden, I think that guy has it bad. But the implication of Hawk is giving me ick. I do not like him. I don't care how many people he's patched up or how close he is to War. He is kind of a pig. But of course, when the book comes out, I'm sure we'll change our minds. Maybe. And whoever this mystery third guy is going to be, I hope he can help rebel and Kara's other sisters. I hate the idea of them being stuck in a cult.
Last but not least, The SPICE!!!! YES, MA'AM!! THANK YOU!!! ANOTHER PLEASE!!! When Kian and Fang kissed, oh my god, it was hilarious and I'm so full of joy over the idea that they were like, "eh, why not, let's give it a go?" And then they knew immediately it was a big NO!! Kian thinks Fang is Hot, and I agree, and Kian had the balls to just announce that giving it a try wouldn't hurt.
*sigh* I love these books. 🥹🥰

Damn I so wish I could give them more. The relationships had such potential! Rebel and Fang in particular hit the spot. I love so much that Fang was willing to try with Kian for the sake of ‘group cohesion’. I would have loved even more if it worked out. There was just far far too little of the romance for me, there even felt like barely any smut.
The other plots took over too much for my liking, to the point where the double murder of their parents felt like an afterthought all the time.
There were far too many chapters from random characters POV’s which I definitely think weren’t necessary. The main four of them is already a lot without adding extra randos.
Setting up Kara’s series was SO blatant it annoyed me a bit. But I will ofc be seated.
The Brooke storyline seemed unnecessary - and side note they never got officially divorced??
I was a lot more aware in this series that the MMFM smut doesn’t always work very well, when Rebel was with Kian I found myself constantly like ‘but what are Vaughn and Fang doing?’
Sigh, that’s a lot of negative but I promise I fairly enjoyed it, I just wanted mORE of them. But mostly the 3 stars are for Fang.
P.s. the bonus scene is so damn perfect I could cry.
I’m crushed to say that I didn’t love this series… I loved the previous trilogies, but this one just didn’t work for me. There was so much going on that the romance seemed like an afterthought most of the time.
Poor Fang was sidelined for what seemed like the majority of books 2 and 3, and I never quite got on board with Vaughn; he didn’t have the growth that he needed to deserve being in the quartet. Even the author knew that the group didn’t mesh the way they should have since she threw in that part at the end where Fang and Kian tried to improve the “group cohesion”.
All of the different POVs were obnoxious and only detracted from the story. I hated reading Kara and Caleb’s point of view, and even reading Bliss and War was annoying - this isn’t their series! The amount of time spent building up the next series was frustrating, and Kara is just too stupid to live. I’m not really sure if I want to read the next series and have to spend more time with her.
This series in general had all the elements of the Saint View books that I’ve loved in the past - well-rounded characters who I really like, great spice, witty dialogue, easily devoured - but she just threw in too many other negative elements and I couldn’t fully enjoy this one.
I loved the dynamic between these characters. The plot definitely kept me hooked and constantly guessing about what would happen next. It can get a bit confusing with so many extra characters being part of their story, so you definitely have to pay attention when listening/reading. Fang was my favorite male character with Rebel, and I wish we had more interaction between those two in the series (probably why book one was my favorite because there was more interaction between rebel and fang). If you have issues with M/M, then this is not the series for you. There is a M/M couple within Rebel's group of guys, and a good bit of the plot revolves around that complicated relationship. The last book in the series had a lot of plot twists and action happening, so expect the unexpected. With so many POVs in the book, you definitely have to pay attention to which POV you are reading/listening to. Definitely plan to go read Bliss's story and am excited to get the first book in Rebel's sisters story this fall.
As I marinate on this trilogy, the more I realize just how completely ridiculous the whole trafficking angle is. There is no way that a bunch of top level business men would get their hands so directly dirty by capturing 5 girls a year each, For one thing, it would be a horrible business strategy to have so many people running around taking women because each person is a liability to the company and trafficking as despicable as it is, is a trained skill. To have a bunch of business men, who really know nothing about kidnapping women is so ludicrous it gives me visions of the same guys in suits being dropped off in the jungle and being told that they have to wrangle up 5 howler monkeys each 😂 This visual is so hilarious, I really can't take the whole thing seriously. Also, I found myself rolling my eyes every time the book railed against "rich white men" considering there wasn't one non-white character in the whole book! It just felt like some propaganda line that wasn't relevant to that particular scenario.

I loved it! I will admit that the newer format of including POVs other than the loved up group kind of annoyed me at first (FU Caleb), even though I understood that those POVs were necessary to give all of the information needed for the storyline. But the last two books in this series really made it grow on me. Maybe it was because we got to see through some of our previous MC's eyes, maybe it was the addition of Kara and how it is introducing the next main character, but I really love the format now!
These characters were all so well done! I love how each of them feels different from each other and from previous MCs. Their thoughts feel different and how they speak is all different, so it is easy to tell who is who even if you aren't paying attention to the chapter header. It is also great for the reader because binging them like I have would get boring pretty quick if all of the characters felt and sounded the same.
