I almost don't even want to read this after how pissed off I got while reading the first one but I'm curious to see why this story is continuing. I want to see where this is going. But I swear to God if Jack cheats on her again then that's it. I will quit. I'm done. And I'll be so insanely pissed that I gave this book a chance.

Just as bad, if not worse than the first one. Basically Cassie forgave him right away, trusted him right away, and acted like him cheating on her never happened. Then when she finally needs a break Jack acts like a complete prick, blames her, and says he "needs some time" WELL FUCK YOU TOO JACK FUCKING CARTER!
Books like this encourage smart, capable women to stay with complete losers who treat women like shit. THIS IS WHY PEOPLE END UP ON JERRY SPRINGER. Jack is a conceited asshole and I'm pissed I wasted $3.99 on this book.

2.5 Stars!
Dragged up, over the top dramatic and not needed are the few words that come to my mind when I think how I'd label this book.
Even if the people begged, and the author wrote a continuation at least it should have been something interesting and mental like the first book. NO. This was so cliché, the kind that "I've been there and read that types."
According to me, this book was NOT NEEDED. It was forced upon randomly.
The first book nicely ends in a simple epilogue.. if needed the author could have given us a novella about their lives after their HEA in book one but NO;
This book picks up after the last chapter of book1 and not the epilogue. The pace starts of slow but then nicely picks up but then the drama begins but it was so stupid and over the top.
THE FIRST BOOK WAS 50 TIMES BETTER THAN THIS. I AM DISAPPOINTED EVEN THOUGH I DIDN'T KEEP MY EXPECTATIONS HIGH.

January 11, 2013Am I the only one who is hoping that this sequel isnt real, or that if its real, its actually just The Perfect Game told from the perspective of another character? The way The Perfect Game ended was fine. Cassie and Jack's story seemed over to me. The only reason I could think of as to why there would be a sequel is that Jack is gonna fuck up. Again. And in all honesty, I'm not interested in having my heart ripped out by him again. The first book ended with the two of them living "happily ever after" (I wasnt too happy about it though. Jack should have suffered more before Cassie even considered being with him again in my opinion), so why ruin that with a sequel? But that's just my two cents. As of right now, I don't want to read this, because I'm scared of what else could possibly go wrong, but I may change my mind later.

If Jack cheated again, then Cassie's pathetic. I wont read it.
Finished & I'm not sure how to feel. Am I sure this was a Contemporary Romance or a Fantasy Romance? Cause nothing about this was realistic. Just one big drama-rama piled into one book. Was like reading a very scripted reality show *cough* The Kardashians *cough*. Not bad, but not good at all

So... looking at the reviews for this one, it seems like readers will either LOVE it or HATE it... not much in-between... I for one LOVED IT!
Jack Carter is my ALL TIME favorite Jerk. Is it just me, or do you all just melt when he calls Cassie ‘Kitten’? Even though Jack was far from perfect in The Perfect Game, I still fell for him. For all those that didn’t love Jack in book one, he really turns it around in this one, and for all those like me who loved him in book one, you will love him more in this one!
The Perfect Game... a book that I loved, but gave me mass anxiety. Jack Carter. Oh Jack. Jack screwed up royally in The Perfect Game. But he is a changed man. He is ready to do what ever it takes to get things right between him and the love of his life. He has spent the last six months trying to get himself together, right all his wrongs. He isn’t a whole man without Cassie. He needs her, and only her.
“It’s either Cassie for me or no one.”The Game Changer starts where The Perfect Game left off... Jack got himself traded to the NY Mets so he could be closer to Cassie and try to win her back. It has been six months since the two have talked or spent anytime together. Both are still very much in love with one another, but Jack made a huge mistake. A mistake that almost ruined everything. Cassie has forgiven him. But trying to forget and moving on from the past is another story.
I loved the first bit of the book- we got to see Jack reflect on the past. He told Cassie all about what has been going on the last six months, explaining to her why it took so long for him to contact her. He wanted to do the right thing for once.
“I know I don’t deserve you, but I need you.”
All Jack wants is to be back in Cassie’s life. He will never make the same mistakes again. He will do whatever it takes to do what she needs him to do. He will do whatever it takes to Prove It.
It’s twisted how much she owns me. She always fucking has, but still.
It takes no time for Jack and Cassie to get back to being a couple. Being in the spotlight as ‘Jack Carter’s Girlfriend’ is much harder than Cassie would have thought. Between the ‘mean wives’, the media, the fans, and the evil ex-wife, it becomes too much for Cassie to take. But Cassie doesn’t want to worry Jack, she doesn’t want to let him in. When it finally gets to be too much for Cassie, and it feels like everyone is out to get them- will their love survive this- or will it crumble?
There is a little drama, but don’t worry readers- its nothing compared to the first book! Jack is amazing in this book. I fell for him all over again! I loved the back and forth between the past and present, and the fact that we got both Jack and Cassie’s pov. The epilogue was great. Now that Jack and Cassie’s story is over, would it be too much to ask for a Dean book ;) The Game Changer was a story of forgiveness, love, facing your fears and moving past your past. It gets 4.5 stars from me!

This book... this book.... ugh...this book typifies so much what is wrong with women today...this book makes me want to step on my soapbox with a big ass microphone... but I'll save that for the end.
Here's what you really want, to know
Plot:
The first 30% (kindle marked) of the book is all about Jack recapping how he spent that six months before he went to get Cassie back in New York, aka Kitten (what a dumb name btw). It's told in a writing style that kind of bothered me, but basically Jack and Cassie have just reunited and are making up for lost time between the sheets and in between sex and food, Jack is telling her what happened (mainly the drama surrounding him trying to separate from Chrystle, his ex-wife, aka the girl he cheated on Cassie with, the girl he left Cassie for, the girl who lied about being pregnant and the girl who refuses to give him an annulment)

To be honest, I didn't like the writing style during that part- it was choppy going back and forth between C&J now and J during those 6 months. But to each their own. Anywho, moving on. The rest of the book is about how basically Cassie is dealing with being the girlfriend of a professional athlete- only thing is people hate her because they think she is a home wrecker. She gets spit on, she has to deal with the other bitchy baseball spouses, crowds sneer at her basically her life is hell. But Cassie, being weak ass female, doesn't let Jack know what is going on (which how he can't know is beyond me... just seemed pretty unbelievable). When Jack finds out about how the media/fans are treating her he wanted to hire her some body guards, which she fights him on. Again- really Cassie?
Moving on, Cassie and Jack are not only struggling with the media but also with making time for one another due to their busy schedules. Enter in jealously and insecurities and you have a recipe for drama. Skip along to Cassie not being able to handle things, flying back to Cali to regroup with Melissa, a confrontation with ex-wife from hell Chyrstle, a Jack who wants to redeem himself, and you have a recipe for a happy ending, all tied in a nice little bow.
Things I Liked...
- Dean and Melissa- that is a "couple" I would enjoy reading more about for sure!!
- Matteo and Trina- more please!
Things I didn't like
- Cassie apologizes for every little thing. STOP FREAKIN APOLOGIZING. damn. She isn't the one who did anything wrong. She lets Jack get away with everything. When they talk about what happened during those 6 months, Cassie is appalled at how Chrystal acted calling her a bitch. Yeah- Chrystal was crazy, but YOUR BOYFRIEND is the one who decided to CHEAT ON YOU and bump uglies with crazy. Then he leaves you for her. HE IS TO BLAME. It was his decision to have sex with her- HIM. Don't lay the blame all on Crazy Chrystal's feet.
- I still don't feel like Jack redeemed himself. When you read his inner dialogue it's all about him. " I won't let her leave me... I can't live without her...I don't deserve you but I need you" He is essentially a selfish person. What about thinking what is best for Cassie? Jack runs the show. He decided when they broke up- he decided not to contact her FOR 6 MONTHS, he decided when they would get back together, he decides that Cassie will never leave him, because "he won't let her." It's all about Jack. What if he wasn't what was best for Cassie? (not that I like Cassie, obviously. She deserves what she gets because she is willing to take all of his shit). and THEN he has the audacity to think things like, "You can’t ever leave me for someone else.” The very fucking idea of Kitten leaving me for another guy made me want to rip someone’s head off. I’d die before I let that happen. This girl is my world." Why the ever-lovin fuck does he think that he has the right to have thoughts like this after what he did.
Now my soapbox. You have been warned...

I want to apologize to J Sterling for using her book as my reference for my soapbox rant, (and believe me your book is the not the worst of the offenders) but I just don't understand the trend today among so many young adult romance authors to have these heroines who just eat shit from these guys with a smile.
These characters are weak protagonists- and set a horrible example for young women today. I'm a high school teacher, and everyday I see these young girls, who I know for a fact read the same books as I do, have some sort of unrealistic idea of how they should be treated in a relationship. I'm in my mid 20's, and these teenage girls/young women are coming up to me asking me questions about should they take their cheating boyfriends back. I mean WTF?! At this stage in their lives, their self worth is almost always on feeble ground and then they expect me to tell them how to react to a situation that is most definitely an "adult issue" situation. Can you imagine how crushed their fragile egos get when they witness their supposed boyfriends sexing it up with their supposed friends? And let me tell you- It happens ALL THE TIME! I think society is out of touch on what is going on with our young generation today and if you ask any teacher, they will tell you that we are creating and molding a generation of insecure, instant gratification, attention seeking individuals.
So where are the solutions? Unfortunately today, many of these young woman are growing up without strong male figures in their lives to teach them how they should be treated- so what do they do? They escape/resort to books to learn... and look at what they are learning. Three trends that I have noticed over and over is that
#1. I feel like they are learning that emotional abuse is ok
#2. That you need a man to complete who you are
#3. It's not love unless it's this all consuming, can't think, can't eat, need to be with them all hours of the day, can't live, I'll just die without them kind of love (which I would like to point out sound a little like obsession to me...but that's just me)
So here's what I would like to see a book capture
#1. Someone who inflicts "internal carnage" is not a keeper. Yes, you will get hurt in relationships, but you shouldn't get destroyed- if your world is "shattered" something is not right. Forgiveness is important, but you can forgive someone without taking them back when they have betrayed you.
#2. A woman must be WHOLE before she can fully give herself to her partner. If you think that you need man to be whole, then something is wrong. You, in and of yourself is enough. You should never need someone else to, "be enough." A man might make it easier, but another person shouldn't be necessary to make you who are are. (this is a generalization of course- I'm not saying that a spouse won't make you a better you, but the point is you are still YOU, with or without another person).
#3. I'm so sick of this OBSESSION portrayed as love. Most successful marriages are full of spouses who have separate, individual interests. You do not need to spend every waking minute of your life with your significant other to be in love. You don't have to "own them." Real love allows each person to be themselves, and nurtures their goals, both individually and as a couple. They make each other be the best person they can be- that doesn't mean they are just going to drop dead if something happened to their significant other. Believe it or not- people survive the loss of their spouses everyday and they are able to grieve and still enjoy their life. Life is easier with a partner- but it's not impossible without one.
Last one, and then I step off the soapbox.
For once, for the love of everything holy, can't we have a protagonist stand up for themselves and say, "You know what. I deserve better than this. I may have loved you, but I deserve someone who will NEVER cheat on me." (which you know, I think is pretty standard in most monogamous relationships). If women, as a whole, raised their standards for what they were looking for in a partner, then guess what- men as whole would rise up to meet them. True story-teachers are taught to have high expectations of their students, and every year we are amazed that not only did they meet those standards, but they exceeded them (a fact proven in both inner city and affluent schools, documented in many education journals). I fully believe that if women expected more from men, then men would not only meet those expectations, they would astonish us at what they are capable of doing. A girl can dream right?

So,okay. At first I was like... Jack:
But the more I read the angrier I became. All of the bad things he did to Cassie came back. I couldn't forget the fact that he C-H-E-A-T-E-D (To painfull to say)... And she forgave him so fast!
I loved Jacked in the first book, but somehow I couldn't continue... I'm not a masochist!
I tried to give you a second chance Jack! I'm sorry, I tried ok? I tried...
BUT...No matter what:
I'll never let you go, Jack. I'll always remember the nights we shared. Me, you and the e-reader. All the times you kept me up to 4 am. *Cue music: My heart will go on - Celine Dion*

I am scared to read this book after finishing the last one. But ALAS... I will read it and hope to god that Jack doesnt fuck up like he did last time. I will seriously hunt his fictional ass down.

Well I read it and thank God i didn't have to kill Jack! That would have sucked. I know some people got annoyed with Cassie, but I didn't. I think I would have reacted the same way as she did to everything. So I can't blame the girl.

I'm confused, I don't think there is a need for a second book especially with the way it ended in the 1st book. Why can't authors leave this alone and stop trying to milk series out of their stories, it's driving me crazy. Grrrr! I think I'll wait to read spoilers rather than read it (yeah right, I'll probably read it), especially if he cheats again.
Maybe she'll cheat instead....hmmm...

I'm going to be honest and say that there was no real need for this book because Jack already came to Cassie at the end of book 1.
Don't get me wrong, this doesn't mean I didn't enjoy the book because I did! This put things into perspective and answered some questions.
Jack spent the whole book proving his love for Cassie and I LOVED him for it!!!
Cassie pissed me off a bit but I guess given the situation she was in, ill let it slide.
Their love was tested again but they love each other so much and have been through too much to let that bitch ex wife or gossip magazines mess it up.

Their love was forever and only for each other...

4 Happy and redeeming stars!!

JACK FREAKING CARTER
First of all if you haven't read book one go back and read about the angst and the rollercoaster that is Jack and Cassie and come back!
Ok for the rest of you I'll continue..
We start right from when we finished in the book one Jack and Cassie are together once again starting there new life in New York, but before Jack starts with his new team They both have a day to go over the past 6 months that they have been apart and why it took so long for Jack to get his act together, I have to say in this part of the story I loved going back in time and seeing it all from his perspective then back in present while they start fresh and sort old wounds out.
But as they then start the path of recovery and again come together Cassie starts to struggle with being in the limelight as a girlfriend of a famous baseball player and with all the hurt and pain she's already been through can she stand strong and move forward together with Jack? is she strong enough to put her head high and ignore the press?!!
CASSIE
Although I do love her being feisty and Independent and strong, I found Cassie to be a little irritating in this book. I just wanted her to not worry too much and just let Jack look after her, not that he didn't but Cassie fought it.
I think this story is very much love or hate you either hate them/him:
Or you love them.. very much like Marmite right?!!
For me I love Jack F'n Carter..
Jack very much redeemed himself for me in this one, he proved his love to cassie time and time again and proved that he loved her implicitly. Above all they love each other and cannot live without the other in order to live, they're a perfect Mess.
Jack wants to protect his girl and keep her safe, life can be hard when your in the public eye though, but they learn in time to become a perfect team together.
The same characters that are in book one are again in here, Gran and Gramps oh how I wish I had grandparents like these they give out some pretty awesome advice..
And Melissa is her hard assed self but adorable at the same time:
"Just remember one thing... when life gives you lemons, cut 'em open and squeeze the juice in life's face!!!"
Dean is pretty great as always there with Jack every step of the way. I just hope he gets his own HEA please write a story for him and Melissa please pretty please!
And again one NASTY BITCH!!!
So yes a journey on life and Love, If you enjoy New Adult go read I enjoyed and loved it but as I say MARMITE!!

Okay, I wasn't particularly thrilled with the first book but there is just something about Jack F*cking Carter that made me need more. It didn't hurt that they would be older in this one and hopefully more mature.
The story picks right up where the last one ended...and it was very sweet. However, right after we get pushed back into all the emotional drama since Cassie has to know everything that happened. I'm a bit torn about some of the reasons but then I can understand some of the others.
And can I just say that "Funsize" is pretty amazing? What a wonderful best friend! Her interactions with Chrystle had me cracking up!!
And the yummy parts with Funsize and you-know-her weren't too bad either!
Unfortunately, we then get thrust into the mean girl world and I really didn't care for it one bit. Surely, it can't be that bad?!
Some of the situations (again) were too cliché. I mean, the one with Matteo, come on! I can't imagine him ever doing that!
But what I can imagine is exactly what Chrystle did...sadly. Thank goodness for Vanessa...I was thoroughly shocked with that one.
The ending was really sweet and I was thrilled that two certain people finally got together...or did they?

The Game Changer is about forgiveness, communication, trust, standing by your man, LOVE , integrity, and one evil lying b*tch!!!
The additional characters add to the story and the troubles of our gorgeous couple, we see the bitch 'mean wives' club, a fabulously dishy driver and, of course, the lovely Dean & Melissa. (I'm hoping Dean gets his own story, he's a cutie. ♥) They all help to move the story along with angst, drama, love and humour.
This is what really bugged me in the first book; Jack's attitude and the fact that he never really questioned that Cassie would be available???
It's all about his emotions, how upset HE is? How things affect him? To a certain degree he is the same in this book but, he kind of has a realisation...it's like the penny drops.
The Perfect Game left us with a HEA but, for me, it also left lots of unanswered questions and annoyances with character decisions and choices, like ~ Why did it take Jake 6 freaking months to go back to Cassie after
So, Jack has a story to tell, and we the reader need to hear it as much as Cassie, he needs redemption in our eyes.
His story of the missing time is just beautiful and gorgeous and made me completely fall in love with Jack Sweet F'N Carter, you warm to him...
♥He stalked her...
♥Always knew what she was doing....it made his absence acceptable...
♥He cared deeply
♥He was hurting, (we desperately needed to see that)
♥He needed to sort out his mistake first....
♥Needed to right his wrong.....be completely available...
Could they overcome the past and have a future?
He wrote letters to Cassie, letters he never sent. ♥ They were his therapy, they eased his conscience and inner turmoil.
And so you blinking SHOULD be!!! You were an arsehole!!!

Jack is the worst hero EVER! I can’t believe some of these reviews talking about how much they love him, and that he redeemed himself and making excuses for his cheating. What the fuck! I don’t care how drunk he was, that’s no excuse! He’s a piece of shit, and Cassie is pathetic.
Men use being drunk as an excuse to cheat, and weak women fall for it too damn much. I read this comment on an article about cheating awhile ago and it is 100% true. “A drunk man's actions are a sober man's thoughts. If a man has wrong thoughts while sober, they will translate into actions when drunk. If he remains faithful even in his thoughts while sober, he won’t act inappropriately with a woman when drunk.”

4 Curve Ball Stars
This story explains all the questions about the time Jack spent away from Cassie. It had been 6 months since Cassie had seen Jack when he showed up on her doorstep asking for another chance. We get to experience his viewpoint on his anguish, his hurt and his determination in getting back the love of his life after he made that one big f*cking mistake.
Jack is truly a changed man. He gets himself traded to the NY Mets so that he can "Prove It" to Cassie that he can be the man that she expected him to be and he will do whatever it takes to win her back. He is determined, loving, remorseful, apologetic, charming, and down right fuckingfantastic. He is after all
Jack fucking Carter!!
Cassie must learn to trust Jack all over again,but her heart loves him, it just must get over the past to truly move on. Jack constantly apologies to Kitten. He promises that he won't mess up again.
While he tells her his story, they take lots of breaks.
Even though they ease back into their relationship, there are still many obstacles thrown in their direction. Tabloids, paparazzi, ex-wife lies, mean baseball wives, and Cassie's own insecurities do a job at unraveling Jack and Cassie.
It takes a trip home for Cassie to open her eyes and really see and understand her relationship with Jack. Melissa, Dean, Gran and Gramps all help her with her unraveling. They have always been there for her, even when Jack wasn't. Gramp and Gran gives Cassie some advice-
What matters the most is who you love. Because when everything else is a distant memory, the people you love are all that's left. And love is the single most important thing we can do in our lives. Give it. Receive it. Teach others how to do it.
The older you get, the more you realize that it isn't about the material things, or pride or ego. It's about our hearts and who they beat for. I know your heart beats for Jack in the same way that his heart beats for you. I don't think one can survive without the other. Do you?

But in getting to that point, Cassie and Jack grow as a couple, they love as a couple and most of all they learn to trust as a couple.
I wasn't crazy with Cassie at times but can you really blame her for all her anxiety. She dealt with so much in book one that you weren't sure that she really could move past it. This is one of the worst books I've ever read so far. I swear. This review is gonna be short because I don't want to waste more time with it. After finishing The perfect game, I wasn't sure about reading this second book because even though I enjoyed parts of TPG, others not so much. But some of my friends were planning a BR of The game changer so I decided to join it because If there's anything I love is reading and chatting books with them. That was the best part for sure. Even if the book is bad, a BR with Amaia, Maria and Gema is always a pleasure.
Back to this book, just say:
Main characters (Jack and Cassie) - Childish. I couldn't stand any of those two.
Minor characters - The only thing worth it from this book. Well, Mellisa and Dean, and maybe Vanessa but she's not even a secondary character. She is someone who did very important things in this story and who was the answer to all their problems but she barely appears a couple of times in the story. Unbelievable.
Storyline - Boring to death.
Subplots - Ridiculous and forced.

The drama is slightly better than the first one. It's a continuation of what's left on the previous book when Jack Carter and Cassie Andrews reunited. 25%-30% of this book, we get to see Jack's point of view on The Perfect Game during their breakup. It's nice hearing his side, despite of me being mad on his character. At least, he cleared up everything and he regrets it.
The rest of the story is about Cassie Andrews difficulties on balancing her personal life and Jack's rising fame. She's not used to being on the spotlight as people tried to invade her private life by judging her because of the photo and articles that gave a wrong impression about her. These dramas affected her really bad. Sometimes it frustrates me she's not communicating well on Jack.
I liked it. It's a happy ending, it's just that I can't help rolling my eyes on Cassie. Somehow, she frustrates me for being so over dramatic and weak. I don't buy that she "doesn't lead on" the driver. Girl, you're attracted with your hot driver. You may not love him but you still flirted with him. *more eye-rolling*

Loved this book! 4.5 stars! The only part I had a hard time with was when Jack have her a hard time for wanting to take a break for a couple of days...how can he get mad at her after he cheated?! Other than that, it very much lived up to my expectation! Thank you J. Sterling!

Cassie. Dear sweet Cassie. I may or may not have been plotting a murder while you were being mean to my boy. While in TPG I felt every emotion for you - you almost wore me out this time around!!

Cassie has to adjust to life in the spotlight and balancing her normal life with that. Seems simple right? Well then we get Jacks fn POV from the last six months of them apart.
Chrystal. Yeah remember her? Lying fake pregnant ex wife home wrecker? Well she's baaaack! Someone needs to high FIVE her. In the face. With a metal chair. Five or six times.
Cassie and Jack have to deal with her drama and between that and all the other stress if being with a professional athlete - Cassie doubts her decision.

I have to be honest, The Perfect Game stressed me out so much. It hit really close to home for me and I was troubled about it for days after. However, I did like Cassie and even though I wanted to smack Jack (more than once), his character is appealing. And I was happy with the ending, but going into THE GAME CHANGER, I really needed to see certain things happen. I really needed to see Jack redeem himself a bit more and I really needed a strong happy ending. That's a lot of really's, right? Well, I'm pleased to say that I am firmly a Jack Carter fan now!
Sterling sets the pace off strong by recapping what had happened during their time apart. I enjoyed that. I think it was important for Cassie to know that Jack was working hard to get back to her and to prove his love for her. As a result, I felt like I got into Jack's head more. I knew he loved Cassie in the first book, but in this book, I felt that he was truly devoted to her.
There is some drama in this book, but nothing like the first book. At least in my opinion. Cassie struggles to find a balance between her life and the life she's created with Jack. Jack's celebrity is causing a lot of problems for her personally and she doesn't really know how to deal with it. Now I admit, that would be really hard to adjust to being criticized constantly and I probably would have reacted the same way about some of the things she dealt with. But instead of talking to Jack about it, she let it build and the result made my heart ache. Not necessarily for Cassie, but more for Jack. Jack puts so much effort into proving his love and earning her trust back and I felt that he deserved to know what she was going through. BUT, I had to remember that they are a young couple just starting out. Add in the pressure of celebrity and that's a tough combo. They had a lot to learn as a couple, but I was happy with how things ultimately came together.
Ok, so I do love Jack now, but in the first book I really fell for his brother Dean. Well, in this book...I want to marry Dean. I absolutely love him and if I don't get a book for Dean, I might cry. He's just the sweetest and I'm dying to know more detail about his relationship with Melissa. I think they'd make a great story.
Overall, I really liked it. I was happy with how the story played out. As I said, there is a different level of intensity to this one, but I thought it was fitting, as well as realistic. Fans of Cassie and Jack will be happy. If you're a fan of sports romance or even a fan of true love stories, check out this series!

I was gonna write a proper review on this one... but fuck it LOL Dex is waiting for me and I really think I have spent too much time reading Cassie and Jack.
So I really enjoyed the first book, had a lot of fun with these two flawed characters and the way they kept fucking everything up. But this book was unnecessary and boring.
I appreciate all the explanation at the beginning of the book and that's probably the reason behind those 3 stars, and well they were sweet at certain points and I liked that. I'm still being generous though... hahaha
And well, the big turning point in the story was simply not enough for me, much ado about nothing. Even if Cassie and Jack seemed to have matured in some way their characters were still full of contradictions and that annoyed me too much.
And Matteo?? Probably one of the most useless characters ever... ¬¬''

I stand by what I said pre-releasing of TGC, that TPG already had the perfect ending. I feel that the development of major conflicts were a bit lacking. Like Matteo's for example, his and Cassie's relationship were just on passing and suddenly he tells her that she loves her, kisses her and Jack is enraged? It would have been might more effective if Sterling focused on the growing relationship of the two as friends and the things that would have been factors to the accusation of cheating. Anyway, thank you Sterling for giving us a glimpse of Jack and Cassie's life after TPG.
