As a brand new romance author, I’m so glad to have Beyond the Beats on my shelf! I have to admit, as a fantasy author, it’s been a little (okay, more than a little) scary to dive into writing romantic suspense, but this book was very motivational and empowering with a lot of content to pore over. I also really liked the more general writing craft advice that was included.

I look forward to the upcoming Trope Encyclopedia!
