Libra agent Zap has been kidnapped, and Libra leader Klaus Von Reinhertz must make a deadly deal to free him. In a secret underground fighting arena, Klaus is pitted against one horror from the Beyond after another, ultimately to face one of the terrifying Blood Breed. But was Zap really kidnapped, or is something more sinister in play to draw Libra's head honcho into the ring? From Yasuhiro Nightow, creator of the international sensation Trigun, comes Blood Blockade Battlefront, a megaton manga blast of science-fiction insanity!
I really liked the first story in this one, but the other two weren't up to par. It was odd. Also, I still don't see a huge direct plot... Just short stories.
the feeling of home-grown characters is what you pay for. after 4 volumes, the characters seem as close as the writer to the reader. I love them, their personality flaws and skills. klaus badass side is shown alittle more. Kk is seen as a motherly figure. Zap hits a new low :p and the butler Gerald (his name?) becomes a relevant character in this volume :D ... odd how the cover images don't have stories of such characters sometime :o
but i loved it, gonna get more. Nightow always keeping a non-kill/non-violence character in most mangas of pure bloodshed is what is my icing on top :) ty
