Good girl Lindsay Cramer has her life completely in order, and she keeps her goals on a checklist -- obtain scholarship to Ivy League University, finish undergrad, and move on to med school. She’s worked hard to get where she is, and she’s determined not to let anything – or anyone -- get in her way.
Until she meets Justin Brown. JB is gorgeous, and the kind of guy who is all wrong for Lindsay -- the kind of guy who is all wrong for anyone . He drinks, he fights, and he has a secret past Lindsay’s not so sure she wants to know about.
But when the two of them are together, Lindsay can’t help but lose herself in him. It’s the way his eyes burn when he looks at her. The way his smile makes her dizzy. The way his hands feel on her body.
Soon, Lindsay and Justin are completely addicted to each other. But when their dangerous game culminates with Lindsay having to make a shocking choice, will she be able to keep JB in her life? And if so, will she lose everything in the process?

5 stars for the book, 1 star for the author selling 50 pages at a time.I have to say I am addicted to this story. I am a bit upset however that there are "four" books out...beware that each book is only around 50 pages which is disappointing especially since you are paying for each one. Wish the author wouldn't sell the book pretty much chapter by chapter, write the book and sell the ENTIRE book. I really do love this story so far but I am not going to continue to pay for 50 pages at a time at 2.99.
Only gripe from me is that I wish it was all one book and not dribble fed, just too short (and size does matter when we're talking about ebooks)just a pain waiting for each installment, love the story line and the characters so far though..
My rating reflects the whole chapter by chapter issue. Not necessarily how it's being released but at the cost of what will be paid to get the end result. If there will even be one. I myself am in the process of writing a novel. I saw myself doing this same thing, not with regards to selling it off by chapter, but the fact that I am a reading addict, and once I pick up a book I can't put it down until it's finished. If I were going to charge by chapter(which I wouldn't make it that microscopic) , it wouldn't be for what some really great authors with amazing books are selling for their entire piece of work. It would be broken down to what I wanted for the entire book. i.e. I want 5 dollars per book ergo my 15 chapter book is .33c per chapter. But mostly likely a subscription deal, like I've read in a previous review, where you pay for the subscription of the book, a one time fee, and it gets released on a scheduled basis.
I could see paying .99 for the amount of material out so far(5 chapters), which has been really good. I haven't gotten to book 4 b/c I can't spend that much money for so little content.
I like the series Idea again b/c I can get too caught up for my own good in books, and not get anything productive, like my own book, done. I also get that ugh... feeling when I've read them all the way through, and it's like, crap it's over. I wish I had drawn it out more.
Mrs. Covington I'm loving your work, I just can't afford it. For those that can, perhaps you could throw in a free chapter every now and then for them.
Lindsay has just started university away from home. She meets working class JB - he's a promising martial arts fighter. They click, nothing much happens - it ends. It's not interesting enough to get the next in the series. The writing is fairly good but the proofing is hit and miss. It's entirely up to authors how they choose to market their writing, but chapter by chapter doesn't work here. It took me 30 minutes to get through it -I should have made coffee instead!
I like the storyline but the books are very short and the series isn’t finished? The other series by Lucy Covington is exactly the same story, characters etc which is also not finished?? So I’m very confused as how she can keep selling these books under different titles and with no ending?? It’s very frustrating and I can’t find anything out about her? So don’t bother to spend your money on these series. Such a shame.
Dangerously Damaged has no reviews! Oh, I need to give this a go.

Okay, 1st off, I'm never one to straight up bash a book. I'm pretty laid back and not exceptionally harsh on the books that I read. If I like it, I like it, even if the story seems over done.
I like the story idea of it all, but I can't stand the chapter by chapter format like what she has going here. I read a few books into it and was pretty much done with the way it was going because I don't want to have to buy a book ever half hour! I'm a very fast reader and that's about how long it takes me to finish these books. I liked the story plot and the character, although they seemed to become attached to each other exceedingly fast for my tastes. I was like "Whoa, slow the hell down. Let something blossom first.."
If all of these "books" or I guess I would call em, snippets, would just be one book, one story, maybbeeee possibbblllyyy even two, it would be much better and a better read. I'm just finding it to be extremely annoying and am moving on to the next book that looks interesting..
I hate writing a negative review not only because I don't want to hurt any feelings but it also means that I had to give up on a book. That being said I just couldn't get into it, the characters lacked for me, they seemed to never find a way to come together. I hated reading the obvious thoughts they each had as well. I didn't feel any connection and Maybe that was the book having way too many fillers or because it was split up into too many books. The book in itself was over descriptive so I found myself cutting and changing words as I was reading which was very distracting. I really wanted to love it, and I did try! I really dislike the books that are split. I loathed the other book I read split up as well and at first I thought it was the author but maybe it's just because I lose any ties I had to the characters because of the stopping.
Why oh why did I get sucked into this. It was the cover's fault. It drew me in. I didn't pay attention that this isn't a whole book, but a measly 50 pages, or chapter or events as I later found out. What are you supposed to do when you have already paid your money?
This upsets me when authors do this, I mean if your story is good, release it in one novel not piecemeal. This is just gouging the public and will turn people against reading this author.
There are so many self published books out there, you would think the author or publishing house would want to attract readers, not take advantage. Next time I order I am going to be looking at the page count and make sure I get my hard earned money's worth.
Good grief Justin from first time we meet you you're quite a handful, "me, rude?" the boy asked. "You're the one who just pulled back the curtain and invaded my privacy." Did I mention that tattoo? "lean, toned, with a six-pack that betrayed hours in the gym. There were bruises on his pecs, a tattoo of a cross on his bicep, and of course the cut above his eye." Justin is just all sorts of fierce, "eff that," Justin said. "Why would you write her up? She said she didn't know. She made a mistake." I didn't know this was a short series bookie I thought it was an actual novel so I was surprised by the damn cliffhanger.
I'm not sure if Dangerously Damaged can even qualify as a novella, but it is part one of the Addicted to You series that I'd look at more like Acts in a play. Each "chapter" alternates between the POVs of Lindsay & Justin aka "JB". She's a freshly enrolled college student at Cambridge. He's training to become a MMA fighter. They are worlds apart, but drawn to each other regardless.
As this is my first experience with these little parts-of-a-whole book, I'm not sure if this is a format I really like, but I am willing to continue the series to see how the story in-whole progresses.
2.5 stars. I like what I've read so far BUT it's so damn short and I don't like how a lot of authors are doing "parts" or installments of one story these days. A series is one thing but to wait for pieces of one story?!
God damn it I hate getting wrapped up in the story that's gonna take me 10 books to get to the end! Shit. Shit. Shit. Good college girl aspiring to be a neuro surgeon meets bad boy who aspires to be a MMA fighter. He runs with a dangerous crowd and she's innocent.
I liked it ok. I wished it was longer and went a little slower. I felt like it was rushed, I wanted to get to know Justin and Lindsey a little more before the fell for each other. And it was waaaayyy too short!
Don't start this series because by the time you are done -- it will cost over $15.00 to read. Books are 45 pages -- 29 pages -- 45 pages -- unbelieveable. Don't start it at all.
I didn't realize when I bought this that it was a small part of the story that came in multiple installments. Cute story so far. Definitely leaves you waiting for the next part of the story.
