Okay, I finished this book up to the point of reading all the anatomy and physiology information -- I'm saving that information to be a supplement to the reading I'll be doing in my anatomy and physiology class. This was a recommended reading book from my school (ACHS) for my 3 A&P classes. I read the information about studying and found it to be helpful. I usually write out notes that I take from the textbook, and the notes I'm taking are too extensive and time-consuming. This book provides other ways to help with studying and retaining knowledge. It discusses what kind of learning style you have (I learn best by reading). It is humorous and I love the cartoons that go with it. It discusses reading strategies, studying strategies, groupwork, keeping a positive attitude, preparing for tests, and using all the resources available to you (with links to the Internet for still more resources). The bulk of the book is full of "cheat sheets," tables, diagrams, and information to help make A&P easier to learn and understand. I highly recommend this book, and I look forward to using it alongside my textbooks for class. Well worth the time invested in checking this out.
