Triple M #2

Loving Me, Trusting You

Rate this book
The Triple M Motorcycle Gang has a new president in Austin Sparks, the bad boy biker that swept Amy Cross off her feet. And nobody's happier about that than Gaine Kelley. Now that his best friend has finally found the woman of his dreams, Gaine's free to go after Mireya. But what if she isn't ready yet? What if the demons from her past howl so loud she can't hear him calling?

Mireya Sawyer isn't ready for love. Not yet. Maybe not ever. Especially not when the one thing she's always fought for is called into question. Triple M may not be a 'real' MC, but they're posing as one, and there are people that don't like that. People who can't accept the way they do things and are willing to take the time to put a stop to it. With several rival gangs circling around, threatening the rights of the women in Triple M, Mireya knows it's time to forget her love affair with Austin and move on. Thing is, Gaine's not willing to stand on the sidelines anymore. He loves her, but can she trust him?

Oh, and half the host of characters in her head are searing hot bad boys with dirty mouths and skillful hands (among other things). If being crazy means hanging out with them everyday, C.M. has decided to have herself committed.

She hates tapioca pudding, loves to binge on cheesy horror movies, and is a slave to many cats. My Thoughts:

✥ This is the story of Gaine and Mireya...two people I really didn't expect to like and was happily surprised that I did.

✥ Two of my favorite things of the story was how much of a romantic Gaine was and that Mireya is an actual motorcycle chick.

✥ I also loved seeing Gaine bring Mireya's walls down just by loving her. He sure waited a helluva long time! It was great getting both their POVs.

✥ We do get a bit of Austin but much more of Amy which was surprising. I did like seeing how well she is fitting into the club.

✥ Beck is an intriguing character...

✥ We didn't get too much from Christy. I thought the story might deal a bit more with her.

✥ Some definite hot scenes between Gaine and Mireya!

description

✥ Mireya's history is brought to the front and makes Triple M deal with some of the other motorcycle clubs and it's not pretty.

✥ The ending was intriguing. Wonder what all went on with Melissa Diamond.

✥ And of course I loved the end part with Gaine and Mireya! ♥

✥ Next book is Needing Me, Wanting You, and I have no clue who it is about. I want to say Beck but even Christy would be good.

✜ “You're stubborn and frustrating and ornery as fuck, but I love you more than I love to ride.”

NO NO NO

I loved Losing Me Finding You but was so disappointed in this book. Not enough not to read the next story Needing Me Wanting You but I really don't like Mireya. Especially the way she treated Gaine. I know she went through horrible events in her life and people react differently, however is everyone that cares for her supposed to pay? How long we had to here her every angst driven thought and experience her viciousness towards Gaine. I wanted him to take her up on the numerous times she told him to leave her alone and do just that. She finally comes to her senses but I felt it was a little to late. She almost got them all killed for God's sake. I needed her to grovel and beg him for forgiveness for the way she treated him. There were so many times I wanted to knock some sense into her and was even more delighted in thinking back to when Amy kicked her ass. Not so tough after all. I would have enjoyed seeing her jealous over Gaine. I just felt so sorry for him. I hope the third book is as good as the first one was and can Austin and Amy get married and/or have a baby and write the book they speak of together, please?

Maybe it's just me, since I normally go gaga over MC books but I was super bored while reading this.

I liked the first installment and was excited for a continuation in the series but this fell short for me. Sorry. Maybe it'll work for you other readers since the other reviewers absolutely loved it!! *sigh*

Geez I'm hooked... 4.5 stars!!! So this one we get to know Mireya and Gaine a little bit more. What I loved about this one was that they sex was hot and explosive and I'll say that right off the bat. I mean sweet baby jeebus HOT! Mireya was a total and utter bitch... but as the book went on while her attitude didn't change you got to see the different sides of her. While I still wanted to break her face several times I got her, and understood her. What I enjoyed most was how strong she is. She had more balls then most of the men in this one! I loved how Gaine stepped back and knew when to push her and when to let her have her space. Gah, yeah!

Mireya she's a feisty little thang ain't she? "And Gaine, I can see your Goddamn hard-on. It's pointing straight at me effing face. A little respect here? I'm hurting and you want to dive into my vagina. Pi** off." Gaine that boy has a one track mind (not talking about sex, although he likes to think about that I'm talking about the fact that he wants no one else but Mireya.) "I want to kiss you, Mireya Sawyer, and nobody else." Mireya's mind is a very entertaining place, "the pervert's holding his damn di** like they're best friends and looking at me with pupils so dilated they make his eyes look black." And she's bossy when needs to be, "get your a** back down here and eff me, you piece of s***. Or get out." This book was different from Austin and Amy's but that's because Mireya had more of a past, so far Austin and Amy are my fave from this series.

I had to drop half a star because I just don't like Mireya, I don't think any reader will. Don't get me wrong, I understand why she is the way she is. But it was exhausting getting thru her past. Gaine is really why I kept reading, I would love to have a boyfriend like him. Sweet, sexy and biker hot. But Mireya can't see what's right in front of her face until she almost loses it forever. We pick up right where book one leaves off, with Austin in charge and the MC still on the go trying to keep the rival MC's off their backs. I miss Austin and Amy, there story was more captivating, but I do have a soft spot for Gaine. He wears his heart on his sleeve (and his shoulder) where Mireya is concerned, but she keeps pushing him away. I can't believe he didn't give up a lot sooner, but I guess the heart wants what the heart wants. Not sure how the rival MC war is going to play out in the long run, it's kind of confusing with all the secrets and how Melissa Diamond figures in all of it. Amy's best friend has joined them, and I'm guessing that Beck's story is up next. But all in all it keeps my attention and I will definitely keep reading...

I kept reading waiting for me to start enjoying this but at 75% I gave up.

I like my share of Biker books but this one wasn't meant for me.

Too much graphic violence, the Hero was a doormat for the heroine, just no, no, no.

I couldn't hang ladies, sorry.

This gets 4.5 stars ☆☆☆☆½. It would of got 5, but a few things put me off and that is where the rating goes. Like I LOVE Mireya I just see too much of Naomi in her, I love that she is strong, can take care of herself, I just see too much of Naomi and ya, kills it a tiny bit for me. I love how she pulls back and guards herself from Gaine, but I also felt if she would of let him in sooner, she wouldn't be so hurt, broken and bitter. But I understand that it needs to be a story, so it's acceptable. I'm just saying the things that put me off a tiny bit. But I loved this, I think possibly more than Austin and Amy's story! I love how they have obviously loved each other for years, but Mireya has always had her eyes set on Austin and she starts realizing her feelings for Gaine. Those two are one HOT couple, wow. The steamy sec scenes between those two, but Austin & Amy, Turner and Naomi to shame lol. When she was in the bath and he was behind the curtain, wow. That deserves probably the hottest book scene of 2013. There was such a good story for this book, I loved them defending womens honor to ride and be in the group, Melissa I didn't see coming, I kind of thought it was going to be someone else, but glad everything worked out how it should of been. I love this book had action, sex, love, friendship, forgiveness, self improvement, it had gore, violence...it had everything, I can't even say how amazing this book was. It was playing like a movie the entire time in my head. I loved every single minute of it! I hope there is more. I need more. I want Gaine and Mireya babies, lol. I need more Amy and Austin. I want to see what happens with Kimmi. Does she go for Christy? I still have soo many questions I need answers to. But all in all, AMAZING book! Must read and C.M. does not disappoint!!! She knows how to take it to that level!

Quotes I loved :

"Life isn't about guarantees, Sawyer. It's all chance and circumstances, but I can promise you I'll do my best."

"If you want to sit in front, I'll be your ol'lady."

"Because no matter what you say, no matter what you do, I'm yours."

"Like my mam always said, I don't start s***, but I sure as hell will finish it."

"Boy""I think you got splooge on your f***n' shirt." (I died laughing, this book is also hilarious!)

"No matter what you say or do, or hell, no matter you don't say or don't do, I'm here for you. Got it? And it aint because I'm a pussy, it's because I love the hell out of you, and I'm not willing to watch you fall by the wayside, bitter and broken."

"S***, I don't know, Mireya. Why don't you tell me what you want to do, and I'll do it. I'd do anything for you."

"Sometimes, we have to break ourselves into pieces before we can be whole again. Otherwise, we're just a jumble of dented parts."

"She's more colorful than a leprechaun's a$$ burstin' with rainbows."

"The only good lie is one that sticks. Otherwise, it's just all bulls***."

"When I know you're safe, I'll come back. This isn't forever, Gaine. It's just for awhile."

"You're stubborn and frustrating and ornery as f***, but I love you more than I love to ride."

"I love you more than I love this group, more than I love myself. Mireya Sawyer, I just f***ing love the Goddamn holy f***ing hell out of you. That's it. That's all there is to it."

Re-read

I loved Gaine and Mireya but Gaine was admittedly the more adorable one in the couple. What not to love about a man who pined over a woman for seven long years and all along the book, he did every single thing for her and her alone. And He even admitted himself as the fantasy fairy tale kinda guy. Now, A Hottie Biker boy who believed in real love... WOW!! ONLY in BOOK... ONLY GAINE!!! He was too sweet to be true. Which made Mireya a real bitch in the book which she totally was. but she was good kind of bitch. With all the suffering and tortured past she had, I kinda get it but still made me feel totally bad for Gaine since he had to confront with her all emotional bullshit. I swore he was the SAINT. Of course, I still was very happy for Gaine with his happy ending.

Surprisingly the problem I had most with this book was not Mireya's bitch emotional roller coaster but the amount of SEX in it. Couldn't believe I writing this but there were too much sex... LOL.. not that it was not good or totally BURNING the ROOF OFF HOTTT!! but we had like suspense between MC thingy then suddenly 3 or 4 chapters of totally HOT escapades that they actually distracted me from the story...OKAY that really sounded totally ridiculous but yeah.

4.5 Stars

This was OK, but Mireya was too like Naomi. And I like Naomi better. As well, I am really anxious for the next Hard Rock Roots book to come out. Although having women in the MC makes this book diff than other MC books, HRR is really fresh as most of the series has taken place in the lots where tour buses park and at venues. That's something I've never read before and it makes it super fresh for me at least. As well, the over arching plot line is better, more mysterious. Mireya... I got her, but it was so obvious she was going to fall for Gaine. It was like I was just skimming though to find out when it would happen. As well, I understood the Spanish but someone else might be lost by it. That said, it was decent Spanish. I have read books where the writer obviously doesn't speak Spanish nor did she ask a native speaker to proof read. Stunich's Spanish is on point for the most part. This book was OK but I am more excited for the next HRR.

I really wanted to love this one. I mean Gaine. *fans self* I had moments where I loved it and moments where it was, eh. More of the later for me. It could have been my frame of mine, not sure. While it wasn't bad it wasn't the best. Quick read from a continuing story of an MC trying to find footing after the events at the end of the first book. I wouldn't suggest reading this one as a stand alone. Will I read the next one? Maybe.

Ok, for starters, this book has one hell of a cover! I wasn't sure how much I would like this one...I liked Gaine in the fist book, but I already wasn't a fan of Mireya...so I wasn't sure I'd get into it. I loved the first book, but I have to say, this one was written so much more in-depth than the first. And by the end I truly was a Mireya fan. Totally in love with Gaine an he's one hell of a man for hanging in there emotionally, waiting for her. looking forward to more from this MC series!

This book almost made me <3 Gaine more than I do Austin!! Gaine is a different kind of man. He isn't an alpha male in my eyes, but he is good, kind, decent, loyal and HONORABLE.

Loved this book, loved that we didn't get left scrambling on a cliff hanger!

I miss Austin and Amy.
This is what motorcycle clubs always make me think of, even though I like the MC Romance Trilogy club better. This was feels more...raw. Real. Ugly.

Running thoughts, because I have them and you want to hear them:

This is the last book that I’m buying this month so hopefully it’s worth it.

A ‘violently gentle emotion’. Punch to the heart. Yep.

I have no idea what Gaine sees in her. She’s the worst.

Of course Walker has a brother.

Ohhhh this could be hot.
But no, Gaine has to go and ruin it.

Well, that’s okay then.

Maybe you don’t want Amy to die because she basically saved your bleep from getting bleeped. Jeez, Mireya.

Um, he totally would have wrecked his bike. Definitely.

Um. They’re HOT together.

Uuuhhh I almost too freaked out by what might happen to keep reading.

I hate the word ‘lover’.

AHHHHH.

Question? Where are Christy and Amy right now? Because Christy normally rides with Mireya, who just trashed her bike...and no way Austin lets Amy join a fire fight. So...where are they?

Hm. Somehow, that’s not the ending that I was looking for.

Broken parts of me fit broken parts of you

Mireya is one of the most independent and strongest people that are in the Triple M. She was used and abused and she put up walls so that no one could ever hurt her again. She knew how to have fun but that was all she was after.

Gaine Kelley was easy for Mireya to turn to and even easier for her to confide in. And she knew he loved her. The love was as steamy as it gets.... but problem was Mireya never planned to fall in love with him.

Guess we don't always expect it but when it happens it happens and boy it happened for these two.

Loved it

Every book I read that CM has written I get dragged in and swept along for the ride (pun intended!)
I love the story and really hate bested by crows......revenge is best served by an angry hurt women, but she has a solid man protecting her back. Will she accept that she doesn't have to do this alone?
I'm so pleased that there is another book and we'll get to find out about beck.

I felt bad for Mireya because she felt she could not/would not love Gaine. I am glad she finally gave into it even if it took Gaine basically getting himself hurt or killed for her to come to terms with how she felt for him.

DISCLAIMER TO MY FELLOW GOODREADER
This review is my personal opinion and may contain: spoilers, quotes, rants, cussing (sometimes I cannot help myself) and a possible full on recap. I in no way want to ruin anyone’s book reading experience so please read my words with caution.

Ugh.. I don't like Mireya AT ALL going into this book. I understand her story is fucking terrible with Tray Walker (we still don't have all the details), but I don't know if I can handle a book only about her. I enjoy Gaine and we all know he has a thing for her. His best friend, Austin, didn't even clue himself into that fact and kept fucking her for years. I guess we will see where this story goes.. Austin and Amy better be frequent for my sanity. Oh and DAMN look at that delicious cover.

Book 2 picks up right after the Triple M'ers leave Fort Collin. A few facts we know immediately.. 23 year old Gaine has waited 7 years to make 28 year old Mireya his. He loves her and even told her once. Kent is dead.. Austin was too concerned about Amy to care, but Gaine checked. Mireya was left with Tray Walker and a knife, but we do not know if she killed him. My gut tells me Miyera killed the bastard. I'm thinking Amy (the new queen of the MC) may strike up a friendship with Miyera.

Well.. Mireya took a blade to the sadistic asshole's neck. The man raped Mierya and then told her bitches don't ride their own bikes. I saw good riddance. Bested by Crows is going to be a thorn in my side. I just know it. Will Walker stops the Triple M'ers and demands to know what happened to his brother. Back in Amy's hometown to get Christy. Mireya almost has a meaningless threesome with some girl named Crystal with Gaine, but all it does is sparks feelings foreign to her. She does not want any man to own her so she is SUPER RESISTANT to Gaine. Will Walker does not believe his brother is dead and trailed them back to Amy's home town..

"Sometimes, we have to break ourselves into pieces before we can be whole again. Otherwise, we're just a jumble of dented parts."

Mireya! This is why I don't like you. Quit running from Gaine dammit. You are annoying the fuck out of me. Oh. My. God. See you cannot hate Amy. She got Mireya to read her favorite book with Glance Serone and Sali Bend. LOVE IT. Thorn in my side alright.. Bested by Crows. Dammit. Gaine says he loves Mierya and she just wants to sacrifice herself (which okay I sort of understand). Instead Gaine goes off to find Bested by Crows himself to end things and Melissa Diamond is there. The fuck? While on the way to save Gaine from his own sacrifice, she realizes that she loves him. FINALLY.

Epilogue... Pleased as fuck how it ended. Gaine gives Mierya the ring he got all those years ago and they get freaking married. I'd like to have a Christy story.

Cliffhanger – no (book 2 of series)
POV - Gaine and Mireya
